Good evening Hush friends! Have been trying to catch up with the thread for the last 2 hours and now I’m up to date till page 25 (Friday) so still a bit to read.
Had a super hard working week in Prague your mission...should you wish to accept it honestly 12 hour days in 37C heat I would not recommend but it did go very well (if exhausting) in the end.
Prague is soo beautiful! I’ve told DH we’re deffo returning together for a long weekend break, with an overnight Danube river trip thrown in.
All the things I packed worked really well together and I didn’t even get to wear it all as some evenings no time to change for dinner as we were working through till nearly 8pm and going for food straight from the office. I came back with a very swollen ankle Friday night (from queuing at airport/heat the ankle I fractured last summer) and yesterday I just took it easy so it’s back to normal today.

Do you mean the Toast ones? No, sadly they haven't arrived yet but I did order them in ecru as well as I couldn't decide and absolutely love them although I really want to keep the khaki ones so may keep both!
They have a high instep but that's great for me. They are quite big but fabulous for my flipper feet but definitely size down if you are thinking of purchasing. They have a lovely retro look. They are brilliant with all dresses, shorts trousers because they aren't heavy looking. I love them.

I wore the ecru ones btw.

The khaki ones are gorgeous. I prefer them to the ecru. They should come tomorrow.

Clothes purchase update. Feeling quite proud of myself as I have returned many things I bought and don’t LOVE including the black dress and boho top from M&S and several items from topshop and Zara. I’ve kept one black and white polka dot midi skirt (Zara sale) and a short tiered skirt (topshop).
I’m also determined to wear all my lovely clothes this summer even if I’m at home. I’ll go to the gym in the morning so then I can shower and dress nicely. I don’t want a wardrobe of unworn things.

You all look lovely in your ‘glad rags’ ladies. Hope all events were successful and fun.

Miffy glad the family is all back together again, yy only keeping things you love & making sure you wear nice stuff, I have been doing the same & makes a huge difference to how I feel, also then sort of justifying buying some new things.

I can’t remember who mentioned the Kensington but I have it from last season (navy blue version) and wore it last week in Prague. A Parisian colleague working on the same project told me “you look great* so yes it manages to be easy to wear but very versatile for work and play

I’m reading backwards so haven’t caught up. Graduation was on Friday, Soy, it was a lovely day but really too hot for my parents, they were pretty exhausted (but suitably chuffed!). Took the, back to Inverness yesterday - hey hello A9, it’s me again 🙄! Dog is better than she was, but not nearly right. I wonder if we are getting near the end. Back at vet tomorrow. I’m about to go and read all your posts now, as haven’t been here for days.

Just been having a look at mango, some really lovely new season dresses quite a few in cotton/linen & a mix of both anyone know what the sizing is like, haven’t bought anything from mango for ages.

@soyo, I think it is the leopard linen vest top.

I love it. I also got a jumper but too warm at the moment for it. Only thing is trousers are slightly on the large side so I’m hoping they don’t give. I’d like this top in black as well but they don’t have it.
