I’m about to brave the wind and (unseasonal) rain and try and convince the dog to go for a wee then I can go to bed! (She doesn’t like getting her feet wet, so will need to bribe her with bacon)

More views from the verandah.. we have two'houses' both ex olive sheds. One for sleeping and one for living.. but it's not posh, and you have to go out at night if you need to as the bathroom and loo is also separate!!

On our way back from a day at the beach - my boys are so full of fresh air and fun they've fallen asleep in the back of the van. Fortunately I'm going out tonight so DH will have the joys of getting them to sleep later 😁

Dh and I have checked into the small hotel where we are staying tonight, this is the view from our room. Me and dd have both had our hair done before the ball tonight.

I’m still melting here it’s still 32deg at the moment, I picked up dgd from nursery yesterday lunchtime & had her overnight was up at silly o’clock playing post box game am shattered, but one upside of the heat I got loads of washing done & dried, Dh gone out to get fish n chips for dinner so at least no cooking, definitely definitely having a G&T later.

ella it's Adrenaline Quarry near Liskeard. Seven of us (friends from our village) went and we all did the zip wire and had a great day out. 'Twas lovely.

Quick question...was it on one of the Hushista threads that we were discussing strapless bras recently? Someone recommended a bra from Next and someone else said they had the same one and agreed it was very good. Just wondered if anyone can tell me which one it was? Or at least confirm whether or not it was on one of these threads? I don’t mind reading back through to find it, just don’t want to trust my own memory as it’s really shit and I could be on a wild goose chase...

Hello all from sunny Dublin. I just had the most lovely catchup over a lazy lunch with 3 oooooold school friends, one of whom I have not seen in 33 years! Good food, lots of reminiscing and a couple of G&Ts :)

Off to the airport soon to collect DS1 who is home from Spain today,; I can't wait to see him and have all my kids finally back home. June has been a long month, with lots of missing my boys and also being sick. Roll on July, summer holidays and good health (hopefully)

@dontcallmelen I made it to the cocktail party and it was great :) There was no sad talk fortunately. Fabulous range of cocktails too. I wore my Hush aster skirt and felt great in it. It was very much a dress down evening so wore with a black tee and plimsoles :)
