De-lurking to express huge excitement - possibly outing & definitely dangerous but have got home from work to my small Yorkshire town to find that a Hush pop-up shop has opened in the town ...

@legoqueen exciting times! Would love to have a Hush shop near by, would save all the hassle of online orders and returns!

Thanks all for dress comments - the second v neck floral dress gets the vote of DH and both my boys so I'm going for that. Love the other one but knowing me I'll always feel paranoid wearing it as it's a bit 'edgy' (and I'm boring!)

Ooh Lego great news! I notice they have a pop up in Cheshire oaks too, I looked at the trains from here (south Yorks) but it's all a bit of a faff going via Manchester & I just cba frankly!

I've taken my DM shopping today, using the wheelchair for the first time.
Bless her, she bought quite a few things and then when I took her back home and brought the shopping in, she said 'whose bought all that!?' She was surprised all over again as I got everything out of the bags and fortunately she liked it all on second viewing too (She has Alzheimer's)
We did have a lovely day, just a shame it was all forgotten by the time we got back

@Gina I'm in West Yorkshire, it's in a shop that has been empty for a while but have no idea how long it will stay - too tempting! I've been trying to swerve the sales but have given in to a couple of dresses from And Other Stories - my willpower is not great.

You are going to hate me for this but @NotAnActualSheep Toast have further reductions. May just have ordered a lovely linen top oops!

@Laska2Meryls when do you go on holiday?

Actually maybe not further reductions but new things added to the sale including the saltwaters. I am so tempted but I have spent enough!

Thanks for the dress compliments all. I have to say it is better than I expected and will fulfil my holiday waft requirements nicely I think. I know what you mean about bras though, never . I do have a multiway one that is quite versatile, but should check that one works though in the photo I just pushed down the straps of a "normal" one

lego - how exciting! I've just looked on the website, and I assume you have a moor somewhere near you where it is unwise to venture without a hat? It's lovely there . There was a pop up here last year, but it was literally around for about 4 days, and I was busy with work so didn't get to go. Boooo.

ella - shame about the dress. It does look lovely on you, but I know what you mean - and you should definitely keep the one that you will get most use from!

I had a successful shopping trip with dd2 yesterday. Bought some nice stuff from H&M and Brandy Melville. She just needs trainers now which we will have to do one evening next week.

I am finally feeling better after still not eating much all day yesterday. Tomorrow morning we are off to dd1's school for speech day followed by a garden party, then leavers' ball in the evening. I THINK I've decided to wear new Phase Eight dress for the ball but not 100% sure as it's black tie. I will post a photo later.

My favourite dress out of the boden selection is the first one. Lovely pattern on you. Less fussed for the last one of the boden. The middle one, is nice too and I like the print.
The phase eight dress Is stunning and really suits you but I have no idea about black tie. Its gorgeous.

Also the first one is a superb style on you. If they had that in another print you should buy it as it looks great on your figure.

I’m enjoying the sunshine today but I’d better get down to some maintenance - I wanted to wear a dress and sandals yesterday but I couldn’t because my legs and toenails were not at all in a groomed condition! Must get some maxi skirts and dresses...

I’ve not kept up with the thread for the past week or so as I absolutely did not want to spend money and I have absolutely no self control. It’s too dangerous at sale time!

I’ve sold a few items on eBay which has paid back the cost of my Darley almost in full. I’m happy about that, and I need to avoid spending it all again on new pretty things. So I’m going to practise resisting temptation, first step being to look back through the thread at all your lovely purchases!

I did buy a navy linen blazer with some of my eBay recoupment, from the White Company (natural colourway was sold out by the time I was buying which I am very sad about because it was perfect. But I’m very happy with the navy one, it will one of the holes in my wardrobe).

I think it was Soy who mentioned Broderie top from the White Company. I want it so badly. In fact I could have quite happily bought 5 or 6 more items from there. But no, I’m going to wait and practise being prudent. I don’t need them right now and I want to establish better buying habits.

Hi @twosoups1972 - love all the dresses - especially the phase 8 one! The blush colour looks amazing with your colouring!!! Suspect it’s not quite formal enough for black tie though. Black tie tends to be floor-length, (princess at a pinch) depending on the time of day, we’re talking cocktail or ballgown and uncomfortable shoes. (Sigh.....) Can you find something in a similar shape and style, but longer?
