@Sheep and @Ninka - when I was a student I worked in a call centre and turned up for work at 7am one day in a limo, wearing a ball gown and immaculate hair and makeup. Everyone wanted to know if I was going out after work. "NOPE!" Took them a little while to register the full champagne glass in my paw... Then they all took bets to see what time I'd sink below my desk. Those days are well and truly over!!! All mornings getting my kids to school could inspire me to drink, though!

I’ve long maintained that the average working day would be vastly improved, and the workplace run much more smoothly, if one could still reasonably have a glass or two of something nice in the afternoon. Irritating that there’s always one or two people who have to ruin it for the rest of us who’d behave quite reasonably with it.

After next weeks’ Prague job no more assassin missions till Bogotá (which I have grumpily agreed to) but it could all change between next week and the Colombia mafia visit
I can tell you I’ve had plenty of 4 am starts but kept the Gin at bay (but now you’re putting ideas in my head )

Nink I’m constantly in TC when I’m not travelling so that keeps me on my toes, but I’m lucky I have a good balance between homeworking (no commute) and the tiring travel lark, it kind of compensates when I don’t have to go anywhere every single working day...but I still have to look decent/apply make up etc for homeworking as all the calls are video enabled so people could tell if I’m having a bad hair day I really should be based in París as most of my colleagues are there and rarely exchange with people based in UK. But I do go into one of the local offices sometimes just to “break” with routine.

Laska we are all still here. What's app group is open to any who want to join and for arranging potential meet ups. A few months ago some of you added photos which was lovely, so nice to put faces to names but it was a bit dodgy doing it on here as we never really know who is reading the thread. I may be going away on the weekend of the 26th October (trying to convince DH that I need another celebration of my 50th this year) but if not I am sure that Ryanair will offer me a bargain flight to any UK destination.

I flew to London a few years ago to meet up with a bunch of internet buddies from all over (Canada, NL, Sweden, US and UK) for a weekend. Our shared interest was believe it or not nail polish but we had gotten to know each other on a forum and it evolved from there. I was a bit hesitant telling friends here who I was meeting (this was back before Insta/snapchat etc took off) but it was a blast of a weekend.

I’ve ordered some Moshulu sale shoes! I know they fit my Frodo feet and consolation for not keeping the Hush Brighton sandals which have now been posted back. Unfortunately they’ll arrive when I’m in Prague next week so can’t take on my next work trip been too busy with work to meet the next day order deadline by 3pm and so...

In Indigo, I think they’ll be so comfy! Fingers crossed and shame I couldn’t get them sooner as I think they’ll be great with my new Aster culottes which I’m planning on wearing in Prague. It’s forecasted to be very hot there!

Sadly 26th October be out for me and I'm not going to be able to commit to November dates for a while as sadly this month is going to have some sad family anniversaries in it ( being one year on from my DMs illness and passing) so I will probably have to leave an Edinburgh meet for this time. .. Im sure I could do a day in That London though if anyone is having a supplementary meet up ..

Something strange happened with the daisy print dress. Ok so I had tried it on originally and it felt too small across the bust and back. Well I tried it on again this morning and it fits??? Very odd. Its actually fine. I am now wondering if I had twisted the lining as there is a huge difference. Anyway, had it on today with leggings and trainers. Toast blue and white shirt arrive tomorrow as well as the jersey toast dress.

@soyo, I didn't get your message but I think everyone Is happier with WhatsApp and im fine with that and posting on here. I think @ella's taking numbers.
