Thanks Never I've had a look, to be honest I'd prefer WhatsApp as I prefer to use an app rather than having to log in and out of a website all the time. Also I created a user on the proboard account but can't activate it as the activation email they sent has no content. I couldn't see a message from you on the link you sent, the link didn't actually work for me so I had to type it into my search bar. Seems a bit complicated but I might just be being daft!

Im fine with whatever. I just don't use facebook and was putting it out there as an option. Its not an issue either way. Happy to go with WhatsApp :) If you create a group, I will join later :)

Its was just an alternative to mumsnet. I don't honestly mind either way :)

Good point cherries I don't know - I think if you have the app you can download it on to your iPad but I'll check

I don't mind using the pro board if I can get my head round it but it's not working for me at the moment as I can't get the activation email to work. I think I'll set up a what's app group anyway to organise the meet up but more than happy to give proboard another try if everyone else is happy with it.

Yy - I think you're right ella. As long as you have it on your phone as well, you can get the messages forwarded to a computer or tablet. There isn't a specific app for iPad but this tells you how to do it.

I'm the same - I have distinct times of day/ occasions where i use my phone, and it's not when I'm relaxing, trying to keep up with chat . I may try to get it on my tablet too...
