Vol85 was far too slow and hopefully a shiny new thread will get us all excited again.

Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

Oh, and a HUGE spider landed on my shoulder when I went to the loo this morning, I screamed so much DD said “if there was a burglar in the house how would I know the difference?”!!!!!!! And have never stripped off so fast......at the bottom of the stairs

Order has arrived

Finally struck off Marant suede clog which is good as they were too ££. Too flimsy for AW and didn’t like the gold.

Other stuff not sure yet but should I keep this in ecru?

Was £325 not that ££ but is it a bit Lenny Kravitz?? Was it him with the supersize scarf.

Most of the Hush order went back - was so disappointed with the animal print shirt - was huge and just looked like pajama top! I kept the cherry jumper.

I placed the Uniqlo order first thing and already the IDLF items were out of stock. I kept this blouse and this coat which I absolutely love.

I found this in Mango which is actually much nicer than the Hush shirt - think I'll wear it a lot.

Ooh nice MrsM I’m keeping the scarf. It’s so big but I reckon I’ll love it on winter walks with dd. Original price was nuts! But not too bad on sale.

My Zara order was mostly a flop due to bonkers sizing and horrid fabrics. But I kept this one dress which is lovely. Although the black underslip that came with it is awful and i"'ve binned it and will wear a nude slip underneath instead.

In a taxi after the most gorgeous lunch at Blingy’s house. Involved champagne. Very indulgent!

I had a lovely champagne lunch today with Marsha and mini Marsha, and Sleep and her dog. It's 3.40pm and I am chugging coffee because it's a looong time to bedtime

Bless dh, last night he made sure the drinks fridge was well stocked as I told him Voguettes were coming over

Marsha is still wearing her espadrilles! Mine are packed away. Everyone very casual in jeans and tops (in my case Rails shirt).

The terrible truth is I need new AW boot but can’t find anything. Must rectify.

Just back from hols and need to transition my wardrobe. Hope you have all had fab summers. Mine was pretty casual so didn't wear much of note, luckily as I really need a couple of new summer basics.

Have just remembered my work boots are broken so need some new ones. Am toying with DM Chelsea boots, I keep seeing people wearing them with midis & they look good. May be a wee bit chunky though.

Helloooo! It’s well and truly autumn now isn’t it? I was hoping to get just a bit more wear out of my summer stuff but instead am going to pack most of it away and get out the jumpers! I love changing over my wardrobe.
So, I thought we could reflect back on summer. So what was your..

1. Favourite summer purchase
2. Favourite summer outfit

1 and 2. For me, my favourite purchase was probably the red oasis dress. I absolutely loved floating around in it so it’s probably my favourite outfit too. Another purchase I love is the sezane blouse that I bought back in the spring. Also the hush flamingo dress. And the other stories maxi dresses.

1. I don’t feel like I’ve worn enough of my summer stuff really. But all my dresses have been worn the most (old and new ones)
2. I bought too many tops before I went away at Easter. I thought I needed them but didn’t really as I still have lovely ones from last year. There’s an and or top that I love but it’s really really too boxy on me and it’s striped which isn’t great on me. Also a butterfly blouse which is a lovely print and fit but somehow I never quite feel 100% in it but not sure why. Possibly because it’s v neck.

I’ve realised my best purchases are when I lust after something for a while and then but it. So it’s a couple considered purchase. The mistakes tend to be when I want something new just for the sake of it to go away with or for a particularly event as then I think I convince myself that I love it.
