Vol85 was far too slow and hopefully a shiny new thread will get us all excited again.

Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

Nothing useful to post but trying to keep the thread going!

Nice jumpsuit and also saw this also by KH - love it.

Hope MrShop is back home and recovering well.

Marsha a dress on website Luisaviaroma has been following me around the internet for days & I keep thinking it'd look good on you-now I want to link, I can't find it Confused

Themarvellousmrsm · 21/08/2019 20:49

It's not this dress but I think Mara would like this-also in greys

Themarvellousmrsm · 21/08/2019 20:56

Anyone fancy this top? I've a few scarves knocking around so could sort you out similar for say £199?

Themarvellousmrsm · 21/08/2019 21:04

Still can't find the dress but this Valentino is fab

Not too sure about the style of this dress but the colours are lovely

VivaVegas · 21/08/2019 23:14

Just having a browse and a few things I've found that I like.

Sweatshirt
boots
gorgeous dress

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 22/08/2019 10:10

I saw someone wearing the blue dress the other day Viva, it's lovely, such a vibrant colour in real life.

I've signed up for Stitch Fix, the online personal shopping service. Going to have my first box delivered the day after I get back from holiday in mid Sept. I will be the Vogue guinea pig on this and report back!

MarshaBradyo · 22/08/2019 11:11

Ooh sounds good MrsM

I got the Matches thing the other day, might be good for autumn

VivaVegas · 22/08/2019 11:38

Blair the colour is gorgeous but the style wouldn't be good for me, sadly too short!

VivaVegas · 22/08/2019 11:39

Never heard of Stitch Fix but will have a look.

Love this Dress

Need to pay a visit to my nearest store!

Themarvellousmrsm · 22/08/2019 12:31

No takers for my homemade top.....?

There was a thread about Stitchfix recently, sounds like a good idea in principle. Let us know how you get on Blair

The &OS dress is perfect for Lib in the art deco or salmon print and can see Bernice in the blue

Currently wearing yoga pants and an old H&M linen t shirt but about to go out so will replace with boden crops and orange Cos top. Might even put some makeup on - what is everyone else wearing today?

VivaVegas · 22/08/2019 13:42

SB leggings, vest top and hoody!

Working at home and going for a run later.

MarshaBradyo · 22/08/2019 13:44

See by Chloe striped shorts - had to check label ;

And v neck t

Standard holiday fare!

Dreamqueen · 22/08/2019 17:21

Glad MrShop is doing well.
Also happy that BabyBlair & Blairare recovered.

I'm lurking here but haven't much S&B going on at the moment. My internet searches are mainly baby clothes or baby products. I might be going slightly overboard. Grandaughter is due in 4 weeks. I'm beyond excited.

I've got a holiday coming up at beginning of October, need to shift some lbs or panic buy a new hol wardrobe.

DryWhiteagainW · 23/08/2019 19:19

Ootd has been my MU chambray dress with snakeskin belt and Gigi’s . I’m trying to wear my summer dresses this weekend because it will probably be the last chance this year and I want to get my money’s worth.

Mravellous that top Shock

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 23/08/2019 20:07

hello all!

well the cruise was ace, my bag came in at a whopping 12kg even though i had 23kg i could use. just didn't need it (shame shame shame) had plenty of clothes and didn't need anything extra!

Another cruise booked for next year !

MarshaBradyo · 23/08/2019 21:13

Welcome back One glad it was fantastic!

shopafrolic · 24/08/2019 08:49

Welcome back One
I'm amazed at 12kg. I packed light and came in at 18kg and was thrilled Grin
Off on an epic shopping trip with DS today for stuff for his new school. List is:
1 pair of school shoes
1 pair of football boots
2 pairs of trainers (indoor and outdoor) WTF?
Thermal sports layers
Swimming trunks
Shirts
Trousers
I sense it will be an expensive day (and all the other uniform has already cost over £400!).

I'm lurking for something in the sale on Matches. Does anyone know when final reductions are?

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 24/08/2019 12:22

I thought id come in heavier shop but a shade over 12 is what the baggage scales at check in said! that includes shoes and toiletries! guess i do pack light and tbf, i didnt run out of anything, didnt need to do any laundry and had plenty of changes of clothes! loads of washignt o do when i got home though as i wore everything i took!

DryWhiteagainW · 24/08/2019 12:36

12kg Shock for a cruise? HOW?!!!!!!

Good luck with that Shop so glad my school shopping days are over (although uni stuff is no better tbh)

Day 2 of summer dress only: I’m off to a country show. I’m wearing my Uniqlo black linen a line dress, belted, with snakeskins Gigi’s and my circle wicker bag.

Themarvellousmrsm · 24/08/2019 14:44

Waves to One, lovely to see you back on thread. Sounds like you enjoyed your cruise.

Shop you've chosen a good day to head to the shops-they'll be empty whilst everyone is enjoying the sun.

Currently having a quiet g&t taking a break from prepping food & dh the garden as we have 12 for dinner tonight. So happy we can sit outside-have lots of fairy lights & Chinese lanterns.

Outfit sounds fab Dry

shopafrolic · 24/08/2019 18:19

Managed to get most of the bits we needed and miniShop is v pleased with his football boots :)
So I went into Karen Millen and they are closing down! Apparently they have gone into administration and the brand and website has been bought by BooHoo (I think) so the staff were all v doubtful the fit and quality will remain the same. I know there are a lot of MMF but the fit has always been perfect for me so I’m gutted. I bought a red suede clutch for £50 instead of £99 and a black shell top for £40 from £60. They are in final reductions but no returns, website is showing an extra 20% off prices listed if anyone fancies a browse. Coast concessions will also close.

DryWhiteagainW · 24/08/2019 18:34

That’s sad news Shop I like Km.

So, on a v hot day what do you do? Buy a jumper why not?
Must control myself. I can feel a spend coming in and I always do this after a barren period, rather than wait until sept when all the new stuff is in......
Marvellous your garden sounds lovely.......

DryWhiteagainW · 24/08/2019 18:35

I ordered the raisin colour

MarshaBradyo · 24/08/2019 20:19

That sounds lovely MrsM out if interest do you use something to keep from being bitten by mozzies? I seem to be more annoyed by flies atm in the day outside might be the time of year

Shop me too I was wondering if there’d be another percentage off. Shame about KM it’s perfect for you. Maybe Zadig for you to fill the gap

Dry the colour raisin is so good for you, better than on blonde model imo

shopafrolic · 24/08/2019 20:35

Love Zadig more Marsha but it’s much more ££ than KM.
miniShop is being eaten alive by mosquitos at the moment poor boy.
Dry can imagine that on you. Do you ever wardrobe plan?
