Is everyone away this August? I'm having to wait until October and very envious of everyone going away now. Have one UK trip planned in a couple of weeks and might try for another early September.

What is everyone wearing today? I find it very hard to dress stylishly when it is so hot (not complaining) but ootd is Max studio red/white stripe linen dress and SE trina's. Also tiny gold studs, very thin gold bangle and gold wedding ring - rarely wear gold but thinking I'd like to more. What little makeup I put on is sliding down my face!

Not enjoying the weather, too hot for me. Wearing the cream trousers I wore to the mu with a light pistachio green cotton tunic top from By Malene Birger. Bought from the outnet clearance, it arrived yesterday just in time for the heatwave. I may even break my sandals only abroad rule tomorrow

Morning Voguettes! Sitting in the garden drinking tea while the heat is bearable wearing this kimono which I liked so much I got in both colour ways in the sale. Ignore the trousers - too much!
miniShop has football camp today in this heat poor thing. I’m expecting a call to say it is cancelled.

I feel really lucky atm as I'm chilling out in the outdoor pool at David Lloyd with dc, feels like we're on holiday. The need to play some chilled out tunes though.

First week back at work over - phew! I need to update my work wardrobe. I'm increasingly hating tights so my go to dresses aren't working for me in winter ( no heatwave here ). Planning a trouser try on session this weekend. Feeling an urge to do a trousers, loafers, sweater and camel car coat look. Smart but relaxed and comfortable. Will report back

Oh and shop the Eborium CC cream you persuaded me to buy is just The. Best. Thing. Ever.

Fedup DH is doing ok. Next procedure is 1st August. I'm keeping everything crossed that it goes well so we can still make it to France mid August otherwise that will be all our travel plans cancelled this year. My back is much improved but I still have to be careful. Am back doing some yoga though which makes me happy.
Quiet weekend this weekend (as we should have still been in Rhodes) - I'm so glad it is cooler today, last night I felt so ill with the heat. Why does it feel so different in the UK? I have no issue when I'm abroad.

Shop fingers crossed for 1/8 you sound as if you're in desperate need of a break and I really hope you get one. .
I think being at home in the heat is different because we still have to do the usual daily grunt work and no nipping off to bed in the middle of the afternoon for a siesta.

Lib glad you've got that first week out of the way. I rarely wear dresses/skirts in winter as I too hate wearing tights. They feel so restricting, I don't like pencil skirts either for that reason. Therefore I usually wear black trousers with a blouse or jumper and non black shoes to stop the outfit looking too boring. This autumn I may try some culottes.

Love all those prints kitty I don't have anything in camo print but i"d like to try it. A fine knit jumper would be good. I did wear sandals and nothing happened it was these www.jcrew.com/uk/p/H7290 bought last year. I have narrow feet so not many sandals suit me. I wore them with loose black cropped trousers and a white cotton puffy sleeve shirt.

Lib outfit idea sounds good, that's pretty much my uniform in A/w. Will check out the cc cream, *shop's recommendations are always spot on. I love the zelens eye cream she recommended. Have used so many but that's the best one.

Good news for Blair Look, it's back

Good morning from a chilly NZ. I bought some ankle grazer slim leg black trousers. Wearing them today with Whistles leopard print jumper, camel Zara coat and Clarks tan brogues. Braving bare ankles .

It’a gone v quiets again! Not much to report. But MrShop suggested I try this jumpsuit and it is fab. I drop the waist so that the legs are longer than on the model - super comfy and v flattering.
