Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

Sorry won't be able to come to MU. MrDream decided yesterday that we should go to Spain last minute , so we're off there on Monday. We're testing to see how he copes with the travelling before booking anything further away.

So, picked up the whistles order, the jumpsuit is beyond comical.

It's supposed to be cropped but is hovering around my knees and the top part is all baggy and makes me look like I have a huge bum.
Trousers are better
these but not sure, I think they just looked better than the jumpsuit!

Only new purchase from me is a pair of flip flops from ale hop at the weekend (cos I forgot to reorder the havs before I went away) they're covered in pineapples and make me smile.

Fedup sounds like you had a good time away. I could do with one of those extra wide belts too atm! Still heavy/bloated despite eating healthily and exercising. Very unusual for me so have made an appointment with gp to check thyroid.

With unusual restraint I have returned the Marant knot belt. It was lovely, and I may regret it, (May buy again!!!) but I went through Marsha’s 5 and I just don’t think I’d get that much wear....although I’m sure I’d have really loved it on the few occasions I would have worn it.......actually wonder whether I e made a mistake sending it back now because it was lovely.

Thank you all for concern about the finger. It was a freak accident. Glass picture frame fell over o top of chest of drawers while I was trying to unstick drawer and fell onto finger. It's healing ok. I've wearing a glove secured with duct tape for showers and swimming. Seems to be working ok.

Last night wore a linen tunic dress from H&M with my favourite new bag. (Zebra print bum bag worn cross body from primark). The best £6 I've spent in ages. And also wore my fugly Teva flatworms. I fell comfortable but stylish for a change.

Not much to do about the back apparently. Rest, no heavy lifting, loads of pain killers - all fairly difficult given that DH Is laid up sick. MIL was here for a week but she left last night - she has been an absolute life saver, I feel a bit sad TBH.
As well as the MU I've had to cancel our big family holiday (and we will potentially have to cancel our 6 days away in August too). But, if I was going away I would totally love to wear this
The good news is that the lovely Lib has said she can come and see me this Friday for our own mini MU which I am beyond thrilled about as I would have been devastated if I'd missed her UK visit. I really hope Sat is amazing - send me pics will you ladies? I feel I'm missing so much at the minute it's rubbish.

DH is doing ok. The stent is doing it’s job so next step is another stone removal attempt in 4-6 weeks.

Love that jumpsuit. Will wait to hear how you like it. This thread moves so fast but if anyone remembers my dilemma re white boots, I took the plunge and splurged on these GRs. I think I like them but I’m not quite sure how to style them. I’m thinking pale denim perhaps. I have the same style in black and they are both comfortable and flattering.

Love those GRs Apple if you ever want to loan them out I reckon they’d look fab with my new jumpsuit

apple nice to see you back. Those boots look lush. I love a white shoe. I wore my white Nicholas kirkwood beya loafers today with black trousers and the new Ganni top which arrived yesterday and is definitely a keeper.
