Vol85 was far too slow and hopefully a shiny new thread will get us all excited again.

Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

Dry I was expecting a crochet bag & thinking it was a bit hippy for you Grin. Love the Reiss jumpsuit, wish I had less boobage for that sort of look.

Loving the Marsha 5. Haven't committed to the trainers yet, another thread made me dither.

When my kids were little Blair, it was le pliage all the way for carting their crap around. No idea what an IPL is, tried googling & got lots of cricket results....

DryWhiteagainW · 26/06/2019 22:19

The problem Marsha is I find dresses so easy to buy, but it’s trousers I find difficult (short legs)

DryWhiteagainW · 26/06/2019 22:20

Grin Stokey only just spotted my typo.....you know my devices have it in for me don’t you?

DryWhiteagainW · 26/06/2019 22:24

Very tempted by this belt

MarshaBradyo · 26/06/2019 22:29

Oh I love that you’re on fire tonight Dry!

Stokey was it the ASOS ones? I’m sure you can get better ones for you

I meant to put Grin earlier haye using the wrong emoji they look silly

MarshaBradyo · 26/06/2019 22:29

Hate using..

DryWhiteagainW · 26/06/2019 22:45

Not just my devices then Marsha

DryWhiteagainW · 26/06/2019 22:49

And with that one positive comment from my friend Marsha I bought the belt 🙄

MarshaBradyo · 26/06/2019 23:22

Good one!!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/06/2019 11:03

It is a gorgeous belt Dry!

Stokey this is the IPL! Marsha I haven't used it yet but apparently it doesn't hurt. It was £240 but every time I get a brazilian wax (4 weekly) it costs me £46 (Aveda prices ugh) so should pay for itself soon. I'll report back if anyone is interested.

stokey you're right, the le pliage is probably the best all round option as it's wipe clean! Sorry to hear you've had delays with the house, it will all be worth it and the pic you put up looked really good, I imagine it's going to be fantastic when it's finished.

Further reductions on NAP today... do we think there will be more?? It's now up to 70% off.

MarshaBradyo · 27/06/2019 11:55

Blair I accidentally went to US site and they were already 80% off. I think they do final reductions here but not completely sure. Yes do report back on IPL hope it’s good

Mara our favourite MG are on TO (code!) I bought the red, my blush ones got trashed. I also threw in a DvF dress, silk, good shape, good price but might be too loud
Will link later

shopafrolic · 27/06/2019 13:08

I have the Lumea IPL - works best on dark hair but light skin

justasecond · 27/06/2019 15:59

We should have The Marsha 5 as a sticky on these threads!

Enjoyed all your links dry the whistles skirt is lovely and agree it would look ace on kitty too.

blair I have a lumea too. It worked really well on me as i have dark hair and light skin (much lighter on my body than my face. Think I showed my pasty leg to blingy at a mu once!) Tough one re bag, only keep it if you really love it.

marsha I deciphered your code Grin Always had a soft spot for your queenie shoes and red is lovely.

Nice to see you back Every and great hush links!

justasecond · 27/06/2019 19:13

Had to post before I had finished as forgot I had a friend coming round!
Hope your back is a bit better shop and your dh is ok.

I ordered this ganni shirt from the outnet. Not sure how many of The Marsha 5 it fulfills. Will see what it looks like on.

Hope you are all enjoying the weather. Looks like it will still be nice next week for the mu!

DryWhiteagainW · 27/06/2019 21:46

Reporting back on the Whistles snake skin skirt....it’s fab, really lovely. Keeper

libertyonhertravels · 28/06/2019 02:08

Dry you are on 🔥! Love the dress links, great belt and fabulous skirt.

Lovely ganni shirt Justa.

Final hours at work here - yay!!!

shopafrolic · 28/06/2019 11:06

I know there are fellow Zelens skincare lovers out there. They are currently doing 25% off with code SUMMER19. They also have a 2 for 1 on there amazing eye cream so it is quite a significant saving. I know I've recommended it to a few of you before.

MarshaBradyo · 28/06/2019 16:10

Justa your link is blank but bet it’s nice

Queenies (forgot that -Funny!) have arrived, but realised my other ones were half size bigger but description does say true to size. 40 is biggest so that or nothing. Might stretch. Don’t usually wear red but will wear with pink

Also what should I do about DvF dress? Keep or return. I love it in parts but us print too loud?

Mansur G blush ones used to get so many compliments, just the size issue

kittyhello · 28/06/2019 17:38

Every great to see you back, thought we'd lost you, that black Hush dress looks really versatile

Dry loved the elegant links I was opening them whilst wearing Birks, raw edge jeans and tee - super casual, love the belt btw

Stokey fab jumpsuit, I too read the trainers thread but feel you could pull off those trainers.

Justa cool sunglasses and lovely blouses, both the Ganni and Massimo.

Am loving the Marsha 5 great style rules!

I really want to buy some things from the JCrew sale, the items are priced in pounds but when I go to my shopping bag the price is in dollars. I'm on the UK website too. Typically the price is more in dollars than in pounds due to different discounts. Is it just my computer or has anyone else experience this?

Shop how are things? Flowers

What's everyone up to tomorrow?

MarshaBradyo · 28/06/2019 19:03

I’m going out out tomorrow (well a dinner), need an outfit!

Have decided to return blue dress. It’s the 40% extra off that’s swaying me rather than being right. Too bright

justasecond · 28/06/2019 22:17

Thanks shop I have ordered the eye cream. Very good value for 2 of them.

Marsha dress looks nice but I think you can find a better one. I saw a dress in Sandro in Bicester last week that I thought would look lovely on you m.saks.com/pd.jsp?productCode=0400098186420 seems to be sold out everywhere though, not very helpful Blush Do you like Rixo? They have some lovely dresses.
Lib you must be so excited. When are you leaving?
Glad the snake skirt is a keeper dry
I just ordered trousers and a jumpsuit from whistles. Will link if any good. I should really give up on the jumpsuit idea, so many duds. The trousers are high waisted so will prob go back too. Am struggling with my bottom half this year!

Ambernectarine · 29/06/2019 00:55

I'm back!

Not a hope of catching up but I know from Facebook/a skim read that a lot of you lovely ladies have had challenging times of late, so lots of love, support and positive vibes to those Voguettes to whom this applies. That sounds shitty and trite, but it is very much meant.

Just plain snogs to the rest of you!

Not much new in my life - work has been fairly all consuming and I am pretty chunky now after sorting out some long term food issues. Can't get too enervated about this - it's all for the greater good - but I am trying to be vaguely sensible now, without falling into the trap of being too restrictive/negative about my body, mainly because I have a lot of nice clothes I can enjoy conceptually at the moment 😄

Currently sporting some VERY swollen ankles after several long days of being on my feet and a delayed flight back from an overseas conference. The glamour. At least it was the flight back not the flight out, as I packed ankle strap heels, which would not be viable in my current situation! Any tips for relieving this charming complaint gratefully received, as I'm out tomorrow night and, as it stands, my footwear options are limited to pool slides or ugg boots 🙄

Anyway, enough waffling - I'm off to google 'fashion tips for cankles'...

shopafrolic · 29/06/2019 09:07

Welcome back Amber
No time to chat but just wanted to link this jumpsuit which I ordered last week on a stressed eve and is lovely.
DH is home temporarily. Probably back in for surgery next week. Enjoy the sun Voguettes.

MarshaBradyo · 29/06/2019 09:36

Hi Amber we have a MU next weekend if you fancy it!
