Anyway , they are mine now, labels off and I just transferred £ to my CC for them .. Smile

LibbyJeffries · 17/05/2019 15:04

Huff I'm glad you mentioned your returns have been slow. I returned 2 tshirts from the sale ages ago and haven't had any acknowledgement of receipt so worried they've gone astray... perhaps just slow then?

Sorry, I keep lurking then butting in Blush

dontcallmelen · 17/05/2019 15:05

Does anyone want to try n find me some khaki trainers, preferably size 35 & not mega expensive, I’ve gone dizzy looking as I’m not really in the know with trainers ta very much.

dontcallmelen · 17/05/2019 15:06

Libby but in when ever you like, more the merrier Yy I think they are a bit slow again with returns.

Binkybix · 17/05/2019 15:07

soy those troos look fab harem style.

porpoise where are your lovely bracelets from?

NotAnActualSheep · 17/05/2019 15:17

Oh wow - so much chat and so many amazing outfits! I can't go over everyone, but honestly, you do all look fab!

Also glad soups has decided to keep the MD jacket - and soy the gudrun kimono. Those blues in the amazing new trousers and top go so nicely with it and together - you look brilliant! never - are you also keeping the boderie top?

whisky yy to legs - the skirt looks lovely with the boots! A very impressive eBay buy Grin. Hope you have a brilliant time "out-out".

huff - I agree with everyone else - the miriam is gorgeous, and i don't think its too big at all. As nink said, it does look so effortless and boho. Definitely keep! (and it sounds as if there will be a few other purchases of that one too!) Also the tatiana with the kimono is perfect Envy. And the smaller wren and red aurora bag look great too. Generally a big "Yay"...

gin - lol at your emergency shape enhancing leggings. Hope you have a great afternoon (which reminds me, JL have stopped sending me my free drink/ cake voucher...have to do something about that..)

laska -so glad the trainers are a winner! And the sweatshirt looks amazing on you. I think I agree with you on the ombre top too - it is v short. i thought it would be sort of slouchier than that. Sizing is v odd. At least you've made back some money with the sale of the dress too - cool...

soups - I know you NEED to go and try on the daniel suede trainers - they are lovely. If it is grey and suede you're after, mint velvet have a few - like this. But basically, if you will end up buying the daniel ones anyway - its probably not worth it!

Sorry - DS is getting whiny, so need to go out with him - but I'll catch up again this evening.

SoyYo · 17/05/2019 15:49

@laska I posted fast as I was rushing with work and didn’t see your pics. The trainers are great and the sweat looks so good too (always a good sign when you try it on and won’t take it off again Smile). I’m still lusting after the ombré top though but agree it’s too short and think of the money saved! Plus agree if the start of the white sits right on boobs not good for us well endowed girls.

@granny we’ll all be in the “no spend” bench with @len soon (except she’s ordered the Miriam so there’s no 😇 left on this thread).

And thanks again for the trouser love, yes they’re two styles in one as the mood takes me and I love them so much I’ll probably end up ordering another pair in the black/white pattern which also look fabulous.
After that and exchanging my short kimono for the green Moroccan one I’ll go on the bench too (till sale time) and I’m still waiting for the Brand Alley Hush bargains so no chance of restoring Halo for ages yet.

ilovecherries · 17/05/2019 15:51

On the motorway north. Again. Mum and dad usually drive here but I feel it’s getting too much for them so we are off to collect. I’ve been getting hush refunds 7 days after posting but have just embarrassed myself chasing Boden for a refund they had already made. In my defence, no email confirmation though.

Sounds like the bench is going to be pretty full! 👍🌷

I’m going to write out a list of all the things I’ve purchased as a direct result of this thread... (ostensibly to make me accountable for my I discretions but really it’s because I’m pretty excited to receive them all!)

SoyYo · 17/05/2019 16:05

Hope your parents visit is lovely @cherries.
We’re off to Norfolk tonight there’s the annual Cromer crab and lobster festival this weekend which is always great fun even though the weather has turned horrible (😢) and forecast for the next few days is just as dismal...

On straw bags I love all the links! I have a nice real woven straw Boden bag with turquoise straps which I use as my beach bag for Norfolk beach and the one attached I got from Accesorize sale last year. It’s great and not real straw but in the Black you can’t really tell and this year it’s available again I think in natural colour. And it’s lasted very well being put through rain/dust/motorbike journeys (I like that it’s small cross body so hands free)

Here it is in this seasons version, sooo cheap in case you need to scratch the straw bag itch:

SoyYo · 17/05/2019 16:06

Whoops sorry it’s out of stock didn’t realise before linking...

SoyYo · 17/05/2019 16:33

@nink you’re a Taurus right? You love beautiful things that’s why. I’m an Aquarius (they’re a bit eccentric/quirky looking at you @cherries) but my rising sign is Taurus which is a blessing and a curse as I’m also into beautiful things, nature (Taurus is earthy), food (let’s just say that’s why I’m doing the fast800 diet) and all things sensual. So this thread is indeed dangerous!
Don’t count the purchases. Just enjoy them and raise a glass to being alive and well to do so Wine
Happy Birthday!
And when you’ve had enough of splashing the dosh we will try (but possibly fail at times) to keep you on the straight and narrow.

I’m into all sorts of woo woo stuff (my Aquarian eccentric side) so love astrology and other similar esoteric topics. I don’t know how I survive in the big bag world of corporate politics but somehow I manage. And I like my job too. It’s a kind of miracle if you ask me.Grin

whiskyremorse · 17/05/2019 16:41

@Not thank you. I am excited to be going OUT out rocking my Hush and hopefully won't be too 'tired' tomorrow lol

Laska2Meryls · 17/05/2019 16:43

Arrgh! I realised after Iad taken the label off ( and was spraying them with protector ) , that the Cupars are damaged. The white coating is peeling on one heel. Sad. So I rang Hush who said send a photo, and they have now said they will send a replacement posted this evening! (good service eh?)

A funny thing just happenned to me also , (remember I live in a small village on an Island..). I just went to the coop to post back the stuff I didn't want (still wearing my new sunset sweat) and as I came out the door ran straight into a woman , wearing... the Sunset sweat! ( I have never seen any Hushistas locally before despite the fact we get loads of summer visitors . )She was also wearing the bright loop back joggers with it and she looked fab (they look great together btw) .. ..
We each said Snap! at the same time Grin

Ninkaninus · 17/05/2019 16:44

I’m actually a Gemini Soy but born on first day of the sign. Pisces moon, Virgo ascendant. But yes I’m extremely sensuously driven, for better or worse! Life is meant for living and enjoying, right?

I’m not too worried. I’ve not bought anything hugely expensive or anything that wasn’t already on my radar. And I guess I have done some hard emotional work this month of getting rid of a lot of things that really, I’m never going to wear again. So I feel okay about replacing with a few well chosen pieces. Thanks for the support and kind words. 🌷

Laska2Meryls · 17/05/2019 16:51

.. Dont worry ,I'm not about to buy the joggers!

Ninka sorry I missed it was w your birthday ..I hope you are having a good one CakeWine

Soy I saw that bag (this years version) in our local Accessorize , it is v. nice , but as you know I have bags... Blush . I wish i was at a crab and lobster fest ( love them!) , its raining here now also and we had hoped to have a bbq this weekend as DF, DB and Ds are coming over tomorrow..

Ninkaninus · 17/05/2019 16:54

Thanks 😊 it’s not ‘actually til next week - I was just using ‘birthday month’ as a desperate attempt at justification of multiple orders! 😁😉

dontcallmelen · 17/05/2019 16:58

Hope the parents have a lovely time with you all cherries
How funny Laska yeahy for good service, such a rarity these days.
I like a bit of woo as well Soy not sure if I’m a typical Capricorn though but am on the cusp so maybe that’s why.
I’m off with Dh shortly too meet up with one of our oldest friends, who is over visiting from Gozo, I miss him so much (we went to school together & Dh was working with him when we met & became great friends with him as well) he is hopefully moving back next year which will be great.

Laska2Meryls · 17/05/2019 17:04

I'm not into Woo (or anything like that ) at all! But I do know that I'm a Sagittarius (but you'll probably tell me that that is typical as us Saggis are well known for not doing woo..! ) Wink GrinGrin

Ninkaninus · 17/05/2019 17:11

Heh I’m not into it either (although I know all about astrology because I really wish it was real! 😄). I think it’s a cool way of looking at personality archetypes though.

Huffthepuff · 17/05/2019 17:17

I love a bit of woo...
Also wish I was at a crab and lobster festival. My idea of food heaven 🦀

I was also hoping for a bbq this weekend Laska. Hope the weather improves for us all

Ninkaninus · 17/05/2019 17:18

I really want to go to a crab and lobster fest! I’ve never been to one.

Laska2Meryls · 17/05/2019 17:25

Bag has just arrived ! It's nice.. plain though, I may have to get a tassel or pompom for it, smells lovely, all grassy ..

Hushistas shiver in their summer clothes.
dontcallmelen · 17/05/2019 17:25

dontcallmelen · 17/05/2019 17:27
