Morning, yy Lisa Eldridge she isn’t annoying, 😂 at Just & Not passport photo description, I look like I have been dug up on mine. Trying to get make up looking right as you get older, is sooo much more difficult Yy what used to work doesn’t necessarily work now, I have found this Estée Lauder base works well, it sort of blurs out the wrinkles a bit.
Soups I concur with everyone else, you will only end up buying twice & as Laska said don’t save them for ‘best’ wear them & love them I have been so guilty of saving stuff & it’s daft.

I am cleaning. My house is always clean and tidy, but it’s not ‘cherries’ mum’ clean. Mum and dad arriving tomorrow for a week for a holiday.

I am in full casual work from home Hush today. Stripy aimes dyed black, grey long sleeve longline t and sabrina cardie. Really cold today, thinking of getting my wrist warmers out as I am tied to Sage putting together and end of year report.
Going out-out with my new WI friends later and not decided what to wear yet. I was thinking zebra skirt and bare legs like @Ella but it has gone cold so it might be with tights and possibly my 'new to me' Hush bikers that I can't wait to wear!

@whiskey, I have done my reports and thank goodness its over with. However I will await the corrections with trepidation!!!!

What do you do to me my lovely Hush friends, you’ve all been sooo chatty and filled 10 pages of thread which I’ve finally caught up with (had a manic 12 hour days work yesterday. Crazy!).
So I don’t know where to start or what to comment on first so I agree upon and appreciate all your wise and witty comments, thank you for entertaining me!

@never you know your and @huff kimono are tempting me to return the short one and buy that instead. It’s fabulous! I’m now keeping the Gudrun (you’ll see why later in the thread ). And the Hush embroidered jacket! Simply stunning! The broderie top is pretty and I want it but I think it’ll hang off my boobs giving me a tent effect so I’ll regrettably pass unless by some miracle there’s stock left at sale time. It is quite a lot of £ when there’s plenty similar in the high street.

@binky you look beautiful in your long Santana, and the stripy jumper. Go You!

@whiskyremorse yes! The zebra skirt looks great with black tights, biker boots and a bike jacket. I approve!

So these are my new Gudrun jersey trousers which I luvs so much I had to wear immediately (I’m not taking them off! The jersey is light like silk, but it doesn’t produce a camel toe and you can tighten the bottom for a harem style leg but here wearing loose). Styled with old Hush Linen too and new Gudrun linen shawl/scarf from sale and yes! Sparkly old Clark’s wavewalk flipflops inspired by @nink
My boobs are so big compared to my lower half but I hope it gives you an idea (looks better in RL)

Hi all, I fell off the threads for a while but am still reading and have finally managed to catch up.

I’m schlepping round looking at new cars today and it’s lovely lovely but so blooming stressful. Nothing is making my heart sing. And it’s so much money. Grrr.

Thank you girls. Deffo keeping all the Gudrun stuff the photos don’t do the quality of the fabrics or the detail of the pattern justice (or the wearer for that matter) but it’s totally “me” as far as non work dressing goes and these days I spend more time homeworking than in the Paris office so very happy they’ll get lots of wear this summer (wearing them today homeworking too)

So a few new bits that I've just had a chance to try on while everybody is out of the house.
The smaller Wren has arrived. I LOVE IT. So pleased I swapped sizes. It's still oversized but a much more flattering fit I think. Wearing it here with the Tatiana Swing dress, also keeping. Plus Aurora bag a la Soups

Next up is the Miriam dress. I adore this. So comfortable, great length. Lovely fabric, lined. Just a gorgeous summer dress that won't get mixed up in my work wardrobe, this would be for summer at home and holiday. But it's a bit large so I'm tempted to try the 8. Although I love the loose fit so I'm torn. It's weighty and substantial enough that it falls in a flattering way I think. But it is voluminous as some of you predicted. Would love to hear your thoughts. It's a definite recommend for anyone who's considering buying tho.

Huff your outfits are great too! I actually like the dress exactly as is. The oversized fit is very current and also I like the easy, boho vibe it gives.it sits beautifully on you and it also looks exactly the opposite of try-hard, which I really like.

Thanks Nink, I returned the striped shirt dress because it wasn't relaxed enough for me. I'd reconsider if it went into the sale but it lacked the boho thing I love so the Miriam is a better fit with my preferred style. Fitted things are all very well but I just don't feel as comfortable or like myself in them so they stay in the wardrobe unworn.

I really need to find an iron and get my hair straighteners out 😂

Waiting for: Mint Velvet trainers that I fell in love with around 3 months ago and just came back in stock via Next. Two cheapie long kimono-type garments from eBay - this thread is 100% to blame for these. Sale dress from Whistles and toe post sandals from somewhere very not fashionable! None of which are likely to arrive today though.

Really like the Tatiana on you and the swing dress , both, I dont think you need to size down, , ( but I there's no harm in trying a smaller ,if feel like it , while the code is still working, ) . I Do Not Need an Aurora bag.. (but I love it ... )
