Love seeing throwback pics from K+W wedding - Princess Anne’s outfit was a dream, to describe it it should be should be mumsy and lame but the tailoring is fierce. Sophie and Zara also looking good.

Also that must be total nonsense about this wedding reception - frogmore house is a)massive and could clearly accommodate an enormous party in one wing, b) separate and apart form frognore cottage and c) frogmore cottage is also huge - I’m sure they can put a few empty rooms between each other so as not to be disturbed by the noise ffs.

Have been busy on the other thread with Curly. It's gone from an AIBU to more of a genteel chat about the history of the Royals, last few pages have been about the British & Russian Royal Families circa late 19th/early 20th century with Henry VIII stinky leg ulcers thrown in for good measure.

Have pinched one my posts on that thread regarding Frogmore Cottage.
Have also discovered that Xenia one of the daughters of Dagmar (Maria Feodorovna) whilst in exile in England lived at..............Frogmore Cottage.
So Princess/Lady Xenia Sussex has a nice family & historical connection (that's if H&M have a little girl & use the name Xenia.)

Mary and Fred have been attending Danish princess Benedicte’s 75th.
I love Fred’s midnight blue tux, looks great with Mary’s fab gown. I think she is single handedly trying to revive lace dresses.

I know up guys have the hits for Haakon (and I wouldn’t kick him out of bed for eating biscuits) but it's Fred for me. He looks lovely in that tux.

99% of the time I really like Mary’s fashion sense, very closely followed by Leti. If I had the body, height and money I think I would choose her wardrobe!

Fred is definitely fit and has a twinkle in his eye. He looks so youthful too, it's hard to believe he's in his fifties isn't it?

Can somebody explain how BP can reserve a page name? I don't understand what they mean ie is it ready to go to print or have they told the Times to keep the first name space free? I'd have thought it would be a headline rather than in the baby announcements? I'm very confused obviously :).

Also isn't Sophie Wessex's son James Alexander Philip?
