Queen and Seneca, I love GFY blog, its so funny. Heather and Jessica have written a few books, one is called The Royal We and its about an American lady meeting a British Prince at Oxford (its basically the Royal family but not so the main prince is essentially William and he has a younger cheekier brother...) and its a fun read. It was written way before Meghan was on the scene!

Yes, I've read that! It was inspired by William and Kate's romance. I think they're working on a sequel as we speak.

On the previous thread - who is the lady in the last photo in navy with the saucer hat? She looks so classy.

The lady in navy is Sophie Winkleman, married to Lord Freddie Windsor. She does look fabulous. Her husband's suit looks a bit over large.

Gabriella Windsor wedding is on the 18th of May, the day before Meghan and Harry’s 1st wedding anniversary.
Apparently it’s an afternoon only do because of the baby.
I suspect we’ll see some family shots released for the anniversary. (Well hope so).

When was Louis’ christening? In July last year?
That will probably be the next time we see Meghan dressed up.

I don't know if Baby Sussex will get the same fanfare for his/her christening that the Cambridge kids did. It might just be a small and private affair.

Ella Windsor’s reception is at Frogmore House. It’s an afternoon only do so as not to disturb Baby Sussex.

The next day is H&Ms wedding anniversary. I was speculating that they might post a family shot to commemorate their anniversary and show the baby. Or maybe not.

Sophie is India.
She has just tweeted about saving premature babies’ sight. Very close to her heart because of Lady Louise.

In the photos from K & W's wedding, I love the papaya colour on C P Victoria and Princess Anne's outfit is very "her" and I think it suits her.

Maybe they only wanted an afternoon affair? Or maybe it's a licensing issue? Is HM staying at Windsor long-term now, and if so would it affect her?

Love the pics of Sophie, she is brilliant. Hard to be away from her family, so far away, too.

Only 4 more sleeps til I'll be heading down the A55 again, hopefully with some baby news. In the absence of grandchildren of my own yet, I quite enjoy hearing about new babies.

I think the junior royals have to get what they’re given.
Bearing in mind the Queen was in residence at Windsor last year, and it’s the same weekend as H&Ms wedding, which had an evening do, it is most likely that the proximity of the Sussexes is the reason for the afternoon reception.
