I now recognise all the Euro Royals, but would have been pretty clueless in 2011.
CPVictoria looked fabulous.
Mathilde however looked like a quality street and those shoes looked a bit S&M.

I like the Euro weddings as they are more formal with love by gowns and jewellery. However the pre wedding dinner for W&K had some fabulous frocks. I will try and dig out some photos.

Max is surprisingly understated there.

Checking in. I have to say I really thought the last thread would be the baby thread! But we talk too much. Clearly.

I saw some crazy poster on Twitter basically saying that if Meghan has the baby today or on Charlotte's birthday no one should cover it because it's just Meghan trying to upstage the anniversary/birthday celebrations. People are WEIRD. I had a brief wobble when my sister got pregnant at same time as me - in my case after endless fertility treatment etc and in her case after one half hearted shag that her and her DH thought might be worth using as an early attempt for a baby - because I irrationally thought that knowing I was going through fertility treatment she should have waited. I posted on here and was rightfully told to get straight back in my box!!!!!! DS and DN have the same birthday!

That Go Fug Yourself commentary is so funny. My favorite bit is about Queen Margrethe. "She is badass, and when is Helen Mirren going to play her?"

I think we needed a Danish version of The Crown.

Eugenie's black dress in that link is gorgeous - is it Vivienne Westwood? I was looking at something in that shape for my wedding dress but alas made to order Westwood is beyond my budget!

Charles is out and about in a kilt today! Probably looking at the other outfits, hoping it's not his 'turn' for a while to wear such things!

Mathilde has stripper shoes on!! Odd look for her. I loved Max's outfit. The muted lace.

The suit Prince Albert of Manaco is wearing is hideous. There are much better ways to dress an ample stomach.

@SwimmingintheDeepBLUESea your DC1 sounds like mine. I was told he was 8.5lb at 36 weeks as I went further and further over due I was dreading having a huge baby. He arrived (via section as nothing short of dynamite was shifting him) at 42+3 at a bang on average 7lb 8oz. Long and thin - so his huge femur length totally messed up the prediction. No idea how long as my GP took one look at the measurement the midwife had put in the red book (just above the 50th centile) and said "Well that clearly bollocks". Love my GP.

Obvious PM, but also.... I never would have recognised Max! Talk about muted! But rather nicely a lot of the ladies seem to have gone for rather drab looks (see Leti), perhaps for the bride to shine even more :)

Yesterday’s talk about Valentino made me think of Rosario Nadal, anyone knows/ remembers her?.
I guess after her divorce from Kyril , she isn’t doing much royal events, but she was very striking and her style still looks great!.

The more I see Bea's "get up" for the Royal Wedding, the more annoyed I am about that Pretzel hat. (Actually I always thought it looked like a beetle.). The rest of her outfit was really very nice, unlike Eug's which was pretty dreadful from head to toe. But all anyone could see was that damned hat.

She auctioned it for charity, bless her, what a good sport!

I remember bursting out laughing when Bea and Eug arrived. I may have snorted my drink simultaneously. It was so completely ridiculous.
