I reckon PH is escaping from his MiL at the soonest possible opportunity; I also reckon we will get photos of a 3 month old baby some weeks after the birth. It's like they're playing some weird game with the press and public.
Personally I am getting less and less interested (not that I was particularly impressed with MM anyway)

The instagram posts are clearly written by Meghan. The baby must be born for PH to be announcing a trip like this. With a nanny and MIL in place he must feel happy to go .
I think it's very strange they have unfollowed other Royal accounts, it feels like a bit of a statement somehow.

Does anyone know the original source of the “their royal highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private" statement online?

It was an official press release from the palace. It didn't say the birth would be kept secret though, just that the plans around it wouldn't be publicised.

Wow they really can't win. They're playing games with the public by ... not saying anything. If they said anything it would be parsed to the Nth degree for any hidden meaning.

Eugenie's posted some lovely pictures from a visit in March to a charity which creates gardens accessible for people with spinal injuries. Cute outfit!

I quite like or don't mind any royals (minus perhaps Andrew).

(In terms of people who don't like her) I find it very weird how obsessed with Meghan they are. There's nothing she could do to please them. The mind boggles at some of the comments. It must be very upsetting for her and her loved ones.

This seems to be the official press release about the birth announcement plans. It was also reported that the media would be informed when Meghan was in labour (don’t know if that’s true and seems unnecessary to me) which seems at odds with the statement about only announcing after they’ve celebrated privately. I read the ‘celebrating privately’ part to mean a couple of days but it’s ambiguous.

I think it was a press release to the media, rather than direct to the public. So any reference is likely to be from a media outlet.

About the Sussex Instagram thing - they’ve made this post and tagged accounts relevant to mental health. They’ve unfollowed all other accounts (including the official royal ones) apart from the ones tagged in that post, presumably to bring more attention to them.

One of the accounts the Sussex Instagram has chosen to draw attention to for their mental health focus is The Class - a fitness class founded by Taryn Toomey who also attended Meghan’s baby shower 🤔

I've seen both those images, but no image of the complete press release, only two halves.

The contents contradict each other, that's why I was looking for official confirmation.

The Chris Ship blog for ITV (he's their royal correspondent now) says he's "been assured" the baby hasn't been born yet. But apparently if that happens just before Harry's trip he won't go after all:

This doesn't seem very well thought out to me. Why announce the trip now if you're then going to say 'Of course, it may be cancelled last minute'?
