How to look hot at work

I really fancy someone I work with, early days but still I want this man. I have a reasonably professional role though. The men wear jeans nice shoes blazer and a shirt.

Am thinking shirt dresses or something that clings but not ridiculously so.
Anything nice around and all other suggestions very welcome. I’m coming from the gym every morning so goodness knows how I’ll manage my hair but we’ll worry about that later

Ooh nice thread op.

Here's my twopence worth :
Pencil skirts, wide belt, heels, tucked in tops to show the boobs off

Or slim leg trousers, heels, silky shirts

Make up, smile, clean hair, done

managedmis · 26/04/2019 17:52

Is he much younger?

I also work in an engineering office and fancy one of the young guys - he's about 24 Blush

Inliverpool1 · 26/04/2019 18:07

30 ish I reckon, bit shorter than I’d like but gorgeous blue eyes

Buy a few well fitting shirt and wrap dresses in colours that suits you. Try a few on and take some photos. Look at the photos at another time to see which looked best. Invest in a new bag and smart heels.

If you want to maximise your chances, you could take note of scientific studies which show that men prefer a lady in red. So the middle dress in the first pic might prove a winner.

managedmis · 26/04/2019 19:05

Love your total on the Boden site, Liverpool 😀

Inliverpool1 · 26/04/2019 19:10

@managedmis I’ve “saved” a fortune though 😂
@out might get two of those then 🥰

I actually think you arriving at work pink-cheeked and glowing after your gym sessions with your hair in delightful disarray is going to be more helpful than any of this other stuff!

Inliverpool1 · 26/04/2019 19:24

Well I’m in Nandos having a Pervy stare at a gorgeous woman who hair looks a bit like mine when it’s not done, wild basically. She has leggings, boots and a shirt on and looks stunning. I might nick that idea if I can shift a few pounds by Wednesday

I recommend a vibrator and a nice bit of me time

You sound a bit frazzled, tbh

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/04/2019 19:48

Karen Millen, not Boden.

Inliverpool1 · 26/04/2019 19:51

@AnyFucker no chance of staying on topic then no ?

It's for your own good. A bit of distraction is what you need before you get arrested

RottnestFerry · 26/04/2019 19:59

Karen Millen, not Boden

Personally, I prefer Jane Norman.

Inliverpool1 · 26/04/2019 20:02

@AnyFucker unlikely to get that much excited ooop north

Inliverpool1 · 26/04/2019 20:03

@RottnestFerry really ?

YesQueen · 26/04/2019 20:03

If it helps, I wore micro fishnets once. With a knee length skirt and heels, v subdued, no change to the outfit except adding the micronets. The men noticed HmmBlush

cranstonmanor · 26/04/2019 20:09

Please don't go from frumpy to ultra sexy at work. Yes, your colleagues will notice but they all will and will start gossiping. Plus that a man won't suddenly fall in love because you're wearing a different dress. He might want to suddenly sleep with you but that is not necessarily love... just wear your normal stuff and smile.

CountFosco · 26/04/2019 20:13

The men noticed

Sometimes men are so fucking shallow I'm surprised we're not all lesbians.

RottnestFerry · 26/04/2019 20:23

really ?

Yes. Karen Millen is OK for coats but Jane Norman and Missguided dresses suit my wife's figure better. She doesn't often wear them to work though. I may have noticed her sooner if she had.

Yep, I'm shallow. Do I care? No.

YesQueen · 26/04/2019 20:25

@CountFosco when one noticed I thought oh he's observant. Then came the rest
Maybe I'll drape fishnets over the full bin/hoover/washing up.... Hmm
I mean it was literally an on the knee skirt with 3 inch heels, I wasn't wearing visible suspenders and stilettos Grin

Inliverpool1 · 26/04/2019 20:28

@RottnestFerry might save that for the Christmas party 🥳
