@ellanotafella great user name WinkNo discount codes as far as I know but maybe someone could refer you for a £20 discount..

@FuzzyPuffling send much love and positive vibes xx

I'm not hushing anything today. Am catching up on the thread in my lunch hour. We've nearly filled yet another thread!

ilovecherries · 07/05/2019 13:24

fella, the other place to try both for returns and in stock is John Lewis - they carry a fair bit of the Hush range - not everything, but a lot of the popular lines.

Laska2Meryls · 07/05/2019 13:27

Not I don't know why you think I may have some Wrens to return 🤣🤣..
A green wrens on 12 and 14 and blue in 16 are now in the post winging their way to Hush.. ellanotfella
Glad your DD had a good birthday and also your DS Ellapaella
Fuzzy a walk is definitely the thing, sorry to hear about your DH but you sound positive esp after such a rubbish time you have been having
Cherries well done! So glad the new norks stood up to a run

Ellapaella · 07/05/2019 13:29

Did anyone order the stripey Alvers dress? Love the stripes.. the Cami top is also nice. Just hard to be inspired by summer clothes when it's still grey and 9 degrees here. I feel like we're having the eternal winter.

Laska2Meryls · 07/05/2019 13:32

Is it just me that thinks that £189 sun dress looks like it's made out of Tea towels? ( with tassles added) 🤔😂

NotAnActualSheep · 07/05/2019 13:43

Oi - I like the tea towel vibe.. Grin

Ditto ella on the eternal winter. I'm considering putting trousers on, it is so cold... I love the stripes too. soy had the marina in that print and it looked amazing - and there are so many colours, it should be easy to coordinate an outfit! I have the alvers dress in the pink/ red, and like it - though it seems a mixed reaction on here to the cut/ style...

twosoups1972 · 07/05/2019 13:57

cherries snap! As I read your post, I was sitting in my running things really not wanting to go but feeling that I should. Haven't run for a few weeks but I managed 2 x 10min runs with a few minutes of walking in between. It probably sounds a bit rubbish but I'm not particularly competitive and at least I went!

Well done on your post-op run! You are truly inspirational Smile

Hi fuzzy hope you and dh are doing ok and enjoy the beach walk.

I've decided I must have some grey suede trainers so am on the hunt for those.

dontcallmelen · 07/05/2019 14:08

Not my mind is the same, I always think of people wafting around with bangles & headscarf’s tied effortlessly round the head & jangly necklaces, rather than practical jeans/boots/fleeces.
ellafella rumour has it, may be a few jackets being packaged up & sent back😂
Laska yes it’s definitely reminiscent of the tea towel look.
cherries yeahy well done you & fabulous boobs are back running again.
Am currently taking a break from, scrubbing a very ornate mirror in the bathroom OMG the dust

whiskyremorse · 07/05/2019 17:54

I am quite Hushed today for a workday with the tattoo heart shirt, grey Jersey blazer, black pointy toe loafer (also black uniqlo 7/8 trousers. Monochrome all the way for me for a cold wet day!

whiskyremorse · 07/05/2019 18:00

I had a mooch around the Hush section of JL at the weekend and agree that the striped skirt, dress and top are lovely if you're going abroad. Much prefer the summer collection to spring.

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 18:34

Well not much hush on me today. Just hush black wide leg trousers. The rest is a peacocks tee, next trainers and a next black cardigan. Very uninspiring!! I just couldnt be bothered today!

FuzzyPuffling · 07/05/2019 18:37

not you are thinking Rock or Port Isaac. Good luck with that!

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 18:39

and the hush kimono is winging its way back to hush today too...Also got a dispatch notice on my gorgeous hundred stars kimono. Looking forward to seeing it.

Laska2Meryls · 07/05/2019 19:22

Oh WTF are Hush ( and other companies tbf) doing with their sizing lately.. the military jacket in 12 is far, far too small ! The Green Hush wren in 10 is big , and the Joules jacket in 16 will zip up but I cannot breathe! Hmm

I may keep the Hush green Wren , but thinking about it..Truly , do I need both colours? .But Its been a shit day at work (just full on, no big problem) and I am not able to make a decision right now. ) The others are going back !

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:26

Oh dear @Laska. Tbh, i did remember the military jacket not being that generous. I went with the reviews that all say it was generous and sized down. I had a 10 and it was just fitting me [wouldnt fit me now] Its very very annoying.

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:30

I don't think you need both colours. I bought both patterns in the blazer last year and wore one way more than the other. I think that is more likely. I don't want to say send back and then you regret it. They are both nice.

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:30

I am no help!!!

Laska2Meryls · 07/05/2019 19:35

Yeah, I think you are right , Never, I'm just too tired this evening to think straight.. DH was up during the night feeling unwell, I think he is just adjusting to being retired quite honestly.. ..

He says he thinks he had a panic attack, Anyway , that woke me up....

Guess what he had done today? Got his ears pierced! Both of them.. .. What can I say,?..its his body, But i was surprised, he said I looked 'horrified' and I may be a bit, but then its up to him

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:37

Both of his ears pierced? I thought it was one for a man? That is a bit strange!!! Mid life crisis?

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:39

My dh has his ear pierced but his cartilage only and only on one ear.

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:41

But seriously, considering the panic attack, do you think that he is worried about getting old? [ because of his retirement?]

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:43

@Laska, I am sure you have said before, what age is your dh? Is he not younger than you?

neveradullmoment99 · 07/05/2019 19:48

Both of you are pretty young! He is pretty young for retiring is he not? [ certainly considering i wont be able to until i am 67!] He should enjoy it. Wish it was me...

dontcallmelen · 07/05/2019 19:53

Oh crikey, that’s a very random thing for Mr Laska too do has he always wanted ears pierced but couldn’t because of work? Panic attacks are awful though, maybe it was a reaction. Hope you have a nice dinner & maybe a glass of 🍷to help you unwind give the jacket conundrum a few days & head might be a bit clearer, yy though with sizing it’s becoming silly now & is making me much more reluctant to shop online, as I can’t afford to keep ordering multiple sizes.
Ooh never looking forward to seeing the new kimono, it’s looks soo pretty.

Laska2Meryls · 07/05/2019 19:55

Yes both ears., well, hes done it now ...

He is younger than me , 59..
