I agree @Huff the model on the Hush pic wears the Wren slouchy like it fits you on the photo. It depends on whether you like the fit that way, and your pic is true to the Hush fit pic.

@Ella I keep warm beach walk clothing in the beach shack, not specially stylish but super practical and there’s a mountain warehouse just round the corner where DH got a super practical waterproof jacket. I have a very old Boden black fleece lined waterproof coat here which is perfectly wind proof too and yesterday it was blowing a gale, almost impossible to walk by the sea actually so we abandoned that and just had a wonder round the town. The old coat kept me warm.
As to the cable one you posted it does look super cozy and the wide fit elevates it from being ordinary. Hopefully non itchy with the high neck.

Ellapaella · 05/05/2019 11:09

@Huffthepuff I think that jacket looks perfect on you.

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 11:13

Did I tell you on Friday we popped into Norwich and on a whim I went into Bravissimo to have myself measured. Having gained a stone this year I thought it was high time to face the music and needed a new nude bra.
Well...I’m a 34G now in Gossard and 34 GG 😱 in a Panache bra I tried.
Must lose weight Sad

I bought 2 bras (black/nude) to tie me over till I do. No point living in denial...

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 11:14

Yes I agree @ella
@Huff I vote for keeping

Laska2Meryls · 05/05/2019 11:14

they also have some some nice workwear jackets on And Other Stories ,I see..
But I must send some back first!

The khaki one on Brand alley has that stupid diamond on th eback.. Otherwise i could be tempted,

But thinking of it , despite liking the Khaki Wren I am more tempted by the military jacket instead.. for wearing with jeans and trousers . It looks a little longer would be more versatile I think than having two jackets of the the same, I do love the blue wren that I have kept and that goes with more of my skirts and dresses than the khaki wren does

Laska2Meryls · 05/05/2019 11:19

yes I agree, huff. Try it again, it doesnt look too boxy on you with jeans ( sadly my 12 did on me I think)

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 11:52

Well I’ve done the sheep thing.
Those kimonos were too tempting and just have to try, May end up returning my Gudrun one if I end up keeping both the short and long ones I’ve ordered which together with the free shipping and 10% code that Huff shared up thread (it worked!) are actually £10 cheaper than Gudrun Smile and they are so beautiful at least on the online pic.

I went for the hollyhocks boho long one on the sale to wear as a summer dressing gown (I actually need that) and the short Kew botanical Passion flower one like @not but with the grey background.

@laska agree on the military jacket with the embroidery, would have been tempted too if it hadn’t been for that silly touch...

neveradullmoment99 · 05/05/2019 12:15

The military jacket is true to size by the way. If you are large of bust, you may even need to size up. There is no give in the material. I would say stick with your own size or size up for a slightly more generous fit. I had it and sized down but I wanted it for my holiday and it came the day before but it was a bit neat. I kept it and kind of regretted it and ended up selling it on ebay a couple of years ago. They may also have changed the fit.

neveradullmoment99 · 05/05/2019 12:16

Sorry, it is stretchy but the material is pretty thick.

neveradullmoment99 · 05/05/2019 12:19

I think the jacket looks fine on you @huff
I like the look of that website @just. Some nice things.
@soyo, its been cold here too and according to forecast, no warmth for at least a week boo!!!
Love love love that jumper @ella. It might not be that warm though if it is open and baggy at the bottom but would be fine with a neat vest under it. You can always layer. Oh and I have looked in Tescos every time for that cami and its never been in stock. Strange!

neveradullmoment99 · 05/05/2019 12:21

@Laska, love the jacket on you but I do think you wont wear two, You will always prefer one and wear that. I would buy something different.

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 12:26

Yes pants weather for a bank holiday weekend @never, so I’m spending money instead! Grin
We’ll brave a walk later...

I have a military style denim jacket from Mint Velvet old season. It’s not slouchy but a neater fit and I’ve been complimented when I’ve worn which is actually not that often...will get it out more often this summer:

Laska2Meryls · 05/05/2019 13:12

soy Whilst you are shopping .. I can so see you in This Monsoon jacket Wink

Laska2Meryls · 05/05/2019 13:18

..and I think this is the one that Len referred to?
Its nice also , but I have ordered the Hush Military now ( yet another jacket to added to my CC! )

I ordered 12 as it does say relaxed sizing now and some of the reviews say size down.. I dont know, (insert shrug emoticon - I dont have one !) but their sizes dont seem to be able to be relied on any more..
Never did you keep the camo one? Also has anyone tried the Romeo jacket?

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 13:54

Nice Monsoon jacket. I wouldn’t find the occasion to do it justice though, too “out there” for work wear (for me) and too tailored for casual days. Love the zebra print though.

I’m in camo print today: Zara biker jeans, it’s a really dark camo print, I got them in Spain Zara but they do similar online. Mine also have a biker detail just above the knee (like biker leather trousers do). Very comfy and not skin tight skinny

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 13:55

Ah just read the Zara description they’re exactly the same as mine

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 14:01

Thanks to our thread talk on khaki jackets it’s reminded me to try the MV khaki with the Zara camouflage jeans I’m wearing today and a pink t shirt. I think it should look good 👍

@laska so you ordered the one you linked to? Look forward to seeing on you

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 14:18

There again a khaki jacket and camouflage jeans together may be too much of a good thing Hmm

Right wind has died down so we’re off for a cliff by the sea walk. I just remember @len: how was the boat party last night? What did you end up wearing? Whatever it was Hope you had a brilliant time.

Chat laters and Happy Sunday!

neveradullmoment99 · 05/05/2019 15:05

@laska, I had the one you ordered but it was a 10. The 12 will probably be fine on you. I got the 10 on but that was pre-menopause :(

neveradullmoment99 · 05/05/2019 15:06

@len, the monsoon one looks really nice. I dislike lapels tbh and the hush one had them. I don't think they really suit me.

ilovecherries · 05/05/2019 15:18

DD and I freezing in garden to the extent that DH got annoyed at both of us and told us to go inside (result!). Have had a pleasant day helping DD yo Marie Kondo her bedroom, and as a result have acquired a leather jacket, a pair of dark wash skinnies and a shirt dress with a botanical print to wear as a Kimono. We’ve both shrunk in recent years for her old clothes to fit me.

All this talk of Khaki jackets.. was just out at our local outlet centre and spotted this khaki (bomber style?) jacket - what do you think? Isn't something I'd normally pick but tried it on and I like it. Fits very nicely and hangs beautifully over the shoulders.
I have an old military style jacket from M&S in grey but it's one of those jackets that never feels quite 'right' when I put it on. Not sure why, think maybe it's just not really me.

Ella jacket is lovely👍🏼
Soy Norfolk sounds very bracing, bonus that you managed to fit in some shopping.
Party was lovely blooming cold though, I wore black shift dress & black & sliver embroidered/beaded jacket from French connection that I totally forgot I had (still had label on😳) silver high heels beaded black clutch. No hangover but am tired.
Hello everyone else have a lovely Sunday.

Huffthepuff · 05/05/2019 17:49

@Ella that bomber looks amazing on you. I can't pull off the bomber style - I just end up looking like a slightly menacing puffin
