Here are the Toast trousers , they come up big, the 12 was huge on me! - (Scroll down for the model wearing them). They are lovely though ,and a great colour green.. I even got into an 8 , but they were really a tad too small for the style I thought which does need to be loosish.. I have ordered the 10 in Loden. ££ but I had a £5 JL reward voucher so (very) slightly less painful..

This is the bra , the others I got for £1.49 are not on the website as they dont make them any more it seems , but are flexifit but with underwires..

The Fat Face khaki crops Ella linked to above were really nice..but I bought the M&S ones instead but may not keep them.. They are certainly more 'utility' and I prefer the style, but the fabric doesn't stretch at all, , also they come up really small.. I had to size up to a 14 and they are still a tad snug on the bum! .. I have measured them and they are the same as my Hush Moritz in 10.. (which are also still a tad snug, but I lost 5lbs last week Smile)

Laska2Meryls · 22/04/2019 18:13

M&S had some really nice stuff actually, (ours doesn't have half the range) I tried this silk dress on , its lovely great for a hot holiday and much nicer than it looks on the photo, and they also do it in plain black. Also this blouse , which was also lovely, but quite transparent.
The Hush range I saw in JL was quite limited but, I did think , that on the whole the fabrics are just not as good as previous collections,. However I did (quite surprisingly, as I dont tend to go for florals ) like the floral T (would look good with the pink girlfriend chinos ) and thought the Floral Kensington shirt was quite nice..

BUT ..They have Pink chinos in M&S also .. for £19.50 .. They were nice!

Laska2Meryls · 22/04/2019 18:35

Soy Sorry, didnt think.. (but it was funny even so !)

Ella Sorry, I think that I missed you where going somewhere?Anywhere nice? WinkGrin

dontcallmelen · 22/04/2019 18:41

Laska I saw those chinos last week, they looked really good & very reasonable price.

grannycake · 22/04/2019 18:57

Laska. Good find with the bras!

dontcallmelen · 22/04/2019 19:12

granny was it you that got some in small band size?(I’m 30e) Currently wading my way through the M&S website trying to find the non wired ones would look love comfy bras, mine all dig in on my ribs.

neveradullmoment99 · 22/04/2019 19:22

Love the Toast trousers @Laska and have had my eye on them before. They look very nice. Also the bra seems great. I am a 32 in the band though I suppose I could reduce my cup size and see how I get on with a 34 band. I have done this before and its been fine. I would never have picked that floral tee out but nice to know it is better in real life. I can see why it goes with the pink chinos. They are also nice. I must say though I like a bit of stretch though as It always makes bending and stretching a bit easier and less likely to cut off blood supply ha ha…
I really like the hush kimono in the same print but its sold out!!! I like the fact it has a button and there is just something about it - think its the button fastening. Think it would look good with jeans. Not particularly drawn to the patern either, just like it in that and perhaps the blouse.

Laska2Meryls · 22/04/2019 19:23

len what about this bra?

neveradullmoment99 · 22/04/2019 19:24

Hope that all made sense. Think I am half asleep at the thought of my cycle trip tomorrow!

grannycake · 22/04/2019 19:26

melen. Yes I'm a 30 DD. I can get that size in store but never found it online. I can also get away with a 32 D which I have bought online. I have the cami flexifit and tbh I only ever wear these now - so comfy

dontcallmelen · 22/04/2019 19:40

Ooh Laska thank you that bra looks really good & great price😍
Thanks granny will have a look in store, I have a voucher to use as well.

twosoups1972 · 22/04/2019 20:53

melen I love Irish and Welsh accents! We're planning a holiday to Ireland this summer but can't decide where to go. Thinking of NW coast so dd3 can do body boarding but also like the look of Dublin area and south from there.

ella glad your ds is ok and recovering well.

laska shame about Hush. I love Jigsaw but agree their prices have gone crazy in recent years. Their sales are good though. Hope you had a good day anyway. Is that bra the one you posted earlier?

twosoups1972 · 22/04/2019 20:54

Hope everyone has had a super Easter weekend. We had a few issues with 12 year old dd (ASD) which I was a bit down about yesterday. Bloody hard sometimes. But we sat out in the garden which was nice and saw some family on Saturday.

twosoups1972 · 23/04/2019 10:17

I have some exciting (well for me) news today.

Any other Victoria Wood fans on here? I am a huge fan and was totally devastated at her passing 3 years ago.

They are doing a tribute show in May in Bury, tickets went on sale this morning and I managed to get one! They were sold out in 10 minutes!! We had plans to see friends that evening but I explained the situation (I hate cancelling) and they were very understanding and said I should go.

Now need to arrange overnight accommodation, anyone familiar with Bury?

SoyYo · 23/04/2019 10:50

Hi @soups I’ve just pmed you a map of CG hairdressers for your DD, found it by chance this morning!
Love Victoria Wood, such a genius and intelligent humour! You’re lucky to get the ticket 🙌 sorry no suggestions on Bury hotels.

I’m homeworking this week so easier to keep up with you lot Wink
Have a great day all!

dontcallmelen · 23/04/2019 11:25

Ooh Soups very exciting news, I loved Victoria Wood as well so so clever her writing was sublime, always wondered if you were a fan as your name always makes me think of Julie Walters doing the waitress skit, don’t know Bury at all so no help. The northwest coast of Ireland is stunning if you go to Clare we stayed in a fantastic hotel called The Falls in Entysmon(sp)stunning place & very near to beaches & lots to see & do.

Elllllle · 23/04/2019 11:53

The Hush lucky jumper that I ordered has arrived and happy to report that it's very nice. www.hush-uk.com/womenswear/daywear/jumpers_cardis/lucky_stripe_jumper.htmHere. I'm a 10-12 and I ordered the medium as I like a slouchy fit. It's very flattering and soft, my only complaint is that the neck is slightly too high. Fingers crossed it washes well!

I decided against the veronica chino skirt as the reviews aren't great.

ilovecherries · 23/04/2019 19:14

I couldn’t find you - we’d fallen off the first page Shock. Had a bit of a miserable Easter but all a bit better today.

So I was thinking - insprired by Ella’s faux jumpsuit look with the harems - do you think I could wear the hydrangea trousers and shirt from last year together - or just too much? I like the idea of ‘looks like a jumpsuit, but has toilet access’.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/04/2019 19:23

Well its worth trying. Why dont you try it and post a picture, It will be interesting to see it together.
Hope everything is ok @cherries. Was actually wondering where you had gone.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/04/2019 19:24

@Ellllle - Its a very nice jumper.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/04/2019 19:26

Well cycling trip was fabulous and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing is i twisted my knee when trying the bike out. It was on overgrown grass and now its a bit sore so will rest it up a bit and see how it is. So tired now. At least i dont need to do go on my cycling machine tonight :)

Laska2Meryls · 23/04/2019 20:15

Hi all, , I have finally done the clothes clear out that I said I was doing last week , ( on leave this week)..

So a busy productive day at home.. I was in a ruthless mood so have got rid of tons of stuff , particularly workwear.. .. 4 bags to charity shop and 3 to textile recycling.. and also a suitcase packed with some really nice stuff that I am taking to the local hospice 50/50 dress agency tomorrow.. (I am not ebaying, just cannot be a$$ed)

Feeling virtuous now but heck I still have lots and lots of clothes.. for example it seems that I have seven checked shirts !! and a dozen cashmere round necked cardis in all the colours (have kept all of those ) .

I did have a major panic though this evening when I realised that I couldn't find my Hush leopard print leggings which I have worn and worn.. Mega-cursed myself for being so quick off the mark at taking stuff to charity shop and dump.. ..
Emptied everything out again, Ransacked wardrobe floor ( where all the many pairs of jeans are ) . Nope.. Cursed again stomped around a bit . Came down and ordered the cropped version (as that's all they are doing right now) in a right snit.. Then went and had another look... Had inspiration and was correct, they were stuck in the cavity behind the drawer and the backboard of the chest of drawers ..

.. Ah well... the cropped ones look nice anyway .. Grin

Laska2Meryls · 23/04/2019 20:27

elllle I think I glimpsed that jumper yesterday, but sorry to say didn't really look, it looks nice..

Cherries, sorry that your Easter wasn't as good as you hoped.. Did Dd get her dissertation in ? It was yesterday deadline wasn't it ?

Never well done on the cycle ride, are you going out again on your bike soon?

Two Soups yes the bra I posted is the same style a the previous one I got, just in a different colour to the original) however I'm thinking of returning that one now I have my two £1.49 ones.. When is the VW tribute? Who is in it, her co stars.? If so, should be brilliant! .. I haven't been to Bury , so cant recommend anywhere ..

Len did the tree man arrive?

Soy I hope you are not working too hard!

neveradullmoment99 · 23/04/2019 20:29

The cropped side stripe leggings were full length on me
@Laska. I really like their plain leggings. They are lovely and thick but a bit too long. Was considering ordering the cropped ones in the hope they fit normal length!
