So.....what are we wearing this autumn?

As summer seems to be non-existent this year (and depressingly some of DD2's lovely summer clothes have still got their tags on!) my thoughts are turning to autumn/winter.

What goes? (DCs and adults)

Roffle at footmuff - pushchair only came in grey and MIL paid so cannot make fuss.
Have many lovely scarves to separate black/grey coats from face... but have been looking forward to getting a new non-black one for ages.

Also - realtive wisdom of a getting a handbag without a long strap to sling over pushchair bar?

Fishie, Debenhams are often a good source of grey singlebreasters (had a lovely one from there with hidden buttons - very slick) - will keep my eyes open during leisured shopping trips with baby this autumn .

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 13/07/2007 12:28

Every time I click the link to cod's shoes I get nowt. Are they the delicious brown suede heeled mj's at £45?

I blardy hope not - sold out in my size already.

no cod's are these
[crosses fingers for link]

are these the suede ones?

JackieNo · 13/07/2007 12:37

I like those suede ones. According to Vogue, maxi skirts are in (hurrah for those of us with crappola legs). Can't remember what else. Military a bit still. Umm, muted metallics.

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 13/07/2007 12:38

Thanks, MrsB.

Cod's are lovely. The mj's I found were not those you have linked to. I have tried to link to them, but the next website keeps closing mn down on my computer, so I can't link to them. They are brown suede, a bit platform-y with an oval brass buckle. Think they come in black, too. V nice.

But I haven't worn any of my Summer stuff yet...

MrsBadger · 13/07/2007 13:04

I like their hooge selection of riding-style boots [digs short cord skirts out from back wardrobe]

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 13/07/2007 13:09

Being the wife of a racehorse trainer, and someone who spends most of their life in horsy company, I have an obvious problem with riding style boots in that everyone thinks I am in work clothes. I love them though, cos I can't walk far in heels and they go with everything. I bought some with biker straps and buckles in Nine West in the sale once (30 quid) and wore them nearly every day for about 3 years until they couldn't take any more. Oh how I wish I could find something like them again

Apparently black is supposed to be big this summer... also big for Autumn too.
