So.....what are we wearing this autumn?

As summer seems to be non-existent this year (and depressingly some of DD2's lovely summer clothes have still got their tags on!) my thoughts are turning to autumn/winter.

What goes? (DCs and adults)

expatinscotland · 12/07/2007 13:31

Wellie boots, walking boots, jumpers, jeans and cords and macs.

DD1 will be wearing track suits to pre-school.

DD2 will be wearing whatever I throw on her.

DH will be wearing his work uniform.

Tutter · 12/07/2007 13:31

(shti i have been dillying re cardis for an hour)

Nbg · 12/07/2007 13:33

nothing wrong with that

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 13:33

That's nothing. I am supposed to be prepping the invoices because I'm going away next week. But I would much rather talk autumn fashion here.

I sense some frantic catching up at home in the wee small hours.

thinkthe burghandy does not sell it either!

fishie · 12/07/2007 13:57

i really like that cardie cod, you must post a full report. and that purple would be lurvly on me. what colour did you get?

horsewoman if you want a yellow mac surely the shops of america are full of that sort of thing and about $2 each?

bozza · 12/07/2007 14:04

So basically there is nothing new for autumn? All the things you lot are linking/discussing are what has been around this spring/summer.

FirenzeandZooey · 12/07/2007 14:06

I still like the M+S one, looks beautifully simple. However M+S stuff notorious for looking bad on the website, so anything that looks nice must therefore turn out to be pants in real life.

MrsBadger please update your notes. Have put on stone.

[peers nosily over pince-nez]
all over or on tum/norks/arse, Fran?

have realised to my shame the coat I really want is probably the sodding brown Boden applique one which is £105 and hence Out Of Range.

Or should one coordinate one's outerwear with one's pushchair, in which case it's boring black/grey for me again?

[style dilemma]

FirenzeandZooey · 12/07/2007 14:32

A bit all over but mostly on middle

as per ruddy usual

fishie · 12/07/2007 14:33

worry abuot outerwear before pushchair outerwear rather than other way round surely mrs b. i thought you don't do black?

i want a really nice single breasted dark grey coat, between hip and knee length and single breasted. am 16 or 18 (big shoulders) so nothing bulky. just in case you happen to see anything while you aren't at all busy with a baby.

grouchyoscar · 12/07/2007 14:37

This year I will be mostly wearing duvets

bundle · 12/07/2007 14:37

never match pram, you'll look like a footmuff or something
