So.....what are we wearing this autumn?

As summer seems to be non-existent this year (and depressingly some of DD2's lovely summer clothes have still got their tags on!) my thoughts are turning to autumn/winter.

What goes? (DCs and adults)

Autumn??!?!???! I'm still holding out for summer!!!

However I am liking the swing cardis.

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 13:05

I must say, I am despairing at the prospect of me in a smock wearing a pair of moccasin boots.

Shoot me now.

Nice coat but I dont like the short sleeves.

LittleLupin · 12/07/2007 13:07

HbHw, you just reminded me irresistibly of Joan Cusack in "Working Girl":

"Five thousand dollars?! It's not even leather!"

Tutter · 12/07/2007 13:07

what do you think of this?

(praps over a long sleeve tshirt for autumn)

LittleLupin · 12/07/2007 13:07

Nicer ones in New Look, Tutts

Tutter · 12/07/2007 13:08

i do a lot of this kind of thing

as am small of nork but long of neck and torso

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 13:09

Sorry to deviate slightly from the subject, but whilst we are talking style, I would like to offer the codmeister an apology over that black and white tunic I condemned as minging. Kate thingummy on GMTV was wearing one v similar this morning, and it looked tres chic.

There. I've apologised.

Tutter · 12/07/2007 13:14

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 13:15

Oh that's nice, cod.

I think your clothing budget be far more generous than mine. You must have very big closets, not to mention deep pockets.

OP posts:
Tutter · 12/07/2007 13:16

arf at cod's big closets

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 13:17

I was going to say big drawers, but thought better of it.

Tutter · 12/07/2007 13:19

Nbg · 12/07/2007 13:19

Oooooooo cheap shot from Cod

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 13:20

But all your cardis will have to be puke-resistant

OP posts:
Tutter · 12/07/2007 13:21

good point hhwoman

puke could get badly caught up in the stitching of that lovely gold cardi...

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 13:22

You will have to fashion yourself a bib from a nice bit of pvc for moments of motherly tenderness
