So.....what are we wearing this autumn?

As summer seems to be non-existent this year (and depressingly some of DD2's lovely summer clothes have still got their tags on!) my thoughts are turning to autumn/winter.

What goes? (DCs and adults)

Yeah that kind of thing Tutter

or a bit more cropped, would that one hit on the waist?

FirenzeandZooey · 12/07/2007 12:33

Oh I LIKE the M+S one

may go and try on(will they have it in the shop?)

Tutter · 12/07/2007 12:34

oh yes, forgot you were petite

i shall look again with the teeny tiny in mind...

LittleLupin · 12/07/2007 12:34

oh tutter, that gold one is VILE. I swear my granny had one just like it.

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 12:34

I prefer the Warehouse one at the M&S price!

Think you are muddling me Tutter

am not petite by any stretch of the imagination

Tutter · 12/07/2007 12:35

lupin, it is great

i have several granny-ish things in my wardrobe

it's how you wear it that counts dontcha know

Tutter · 12/07/2007 12:35

am sure someone referred to you as blonde and petite...

FirenzeandZooey · 12/07/2007 12:36

Nah

am nearly 5 ft 10, they were having a laugh

Tutter · 12/07/2007 12:37

i'm not normally an asos shopper but found this too franny

not really my colours, but think the shape is quite sweet...

Nbg · 12/07/2007 12:37

Love that Warehouse one Tutter.

LittleLupin · 12/07/2007 12:38

no, that's me

Tutter, prenancy has done weird things to your head! That cardie is gopping. It mings. It mingeth more than the mingiest ming worn by Emperor Ming from Planet Ming.

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 12:38

I am 'petite' (some would say short) at just a fraction under 5'2", so purrleeeease continue to search for stuff for short-arses. FWIW, I love those little waist-length swing jackets a la Nicole Ritchie (not that she is my style icon, but I did like her jacket)

Hmmm, most autumns "tweed" is the "latest" fabric to be seen in. So, I am guessing tweed. I am not wearing any tweed in July and that is final.

LittleLupin · 12/07/2007 12:39

Like the ASOS one though

(Tutter Franny's petiteness refers to her circumference, not her height )

Nbg · 12/07/2007 12:41

I have an account

HolidayboundHorsewoman · 12/07/2007 12:41

we obv don't spend enough Nbg...

Though the colossal autumn/winter catalogue arrived yesterday and I nearly strained something picking it off the doorstep.
No decent tweed coats in it either [grr].
