Most flattering Capri trousers ......thought I would share

Ignoring the bid-tastic store these come from - these are the best trousers I have found for yonks and are perfect for apples as they just pull on without a fixed waistband.

They are like leggings in that they need an arse covering top but the EASE of wear is something special. (Sighs in a good way)

Anyhoo really flattering, wash well and in a whole array of colours. Not sheer at all either. Oh yes and they make legs look thinner too unlike jeggings.....

Drumroll..... Roman Originals cropped stretch trousers.....

Three winters ago roaming around town I wandered into Roman and saw a faux fur coat, cheap as chips. I have worn it to death and get so many compliments each time I wear it. Goes in the washing machine, then tumbler and comes up like new.

What's wrong with Roman Originals anyway? I obviously know the name but I don't recall ever actually seeing a shop anywhere, is it worse than Bon Marche and QS or B-Wise? It's a fuck sight more expensive...

Ele Well I think their usual demographic = those requiring cruisewear. My mum loves a spot of Roman as well as Klass and Bon Marche....

A colleague recommend Roman to me, but nothing in there fits me - I’m an hourglass and everything seems made for women who are more straight up and down. Anything that fit over my backside and boobs was massive round the middle. Shame as I quite liked a few of the work ish dresses I tried.

@PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair oh now you've made me look at White Stuff tunics! They are lovely if a bit pricey. What is the sizing like? Am a 14-16 depending on the fit.

My legs are so short, I'm going to try those and see if they fit me full length.....

MoniqueTonique, white stuff sizing is notoriously random. You will need to try on at least two sizes. Sometimes three or four.

I got navy and paler blue...might need to try white on before making a commitment!!!

The prev best capri trews I had were from ASDA about 6 years ago

Oh me too. Unfortunately I got drunk at a BBQ and fell/sat on a yellow citronella candle and ruined them by boil washing to get the yellow wax out

four pairs ordered, fingers crossed they are good.

Some trousers show up my cellulite. I am not fat but can look lumpy of thigh and arse. These look like they might be a problem for that. Anybody with cellulite tried these?

Sarcelle I have cellulite and they don’t show mine.
