An older royal lady now, the impeccably coiffed Queen Sonja of Norway. She's very elegant. I thought she was early 70s but she's 81! Quite a love story between her and King Harald too.

@CurlyWurlyTwirly the boots look to be Dubarrry, yes probably years old, I love the classic coat and the snakeskin clutch, I a: not so keen on the brown polo neck.

On closer inspection I have Just realised the dangling tan piece is part of the jacket, no quite so keen!

Not a fan of the tan dangling piece on Queen Rania's leather jacket,

leather jackets are so tricky to pull off. last time i wore one was in my teens. I remember years ago wanting to buy a chanel one I've seen on Amanda Harlech ,and my friend kindly pointed out that only Amanda Harlech can look good in the Amanda Harlech chanel jacket. She was so right.

The only royal thing I own is the blouse Kate is wearing in her official portrait. In my defence, I wore it before she did!

I have one of Kate's maternity dresses. Don't look remotely as elegant as her alas.

Meghan has my oxblood biker jacket. I bought mine years ago.

I absolutely love Kate's angry dress. She's been criticised for not taking risks so she's gone "you want risks? Here's a bright green dress with angry eyes and some absolutely kicking boots".

I think this is as fun as she could be without the pearl clutchers calling for her head.

I agree with PP; Leti is my best dressed royal too. Smart, chic, unfussy and everything seems to fit her perfectly.

That blue dress is pretty plain and ordinary in many ways, but she makes it look so damned elegant. I do think she and Kate share a similar poise and composure.
