Christmas and the sales are sadly over but winter is still here for a few months yet.

Come and show us your cosy knits and woolly hats whilst we dream of summer - everyone welcome, the more the merrier.

Oh shop. Holding your hand from over here Flowers

Lib, thinking of you all over there. Your PM is so impressive, seems to be dealing with it all just right.

One lovely to see you, the dress sounds amazing! Have you lost more weight?

Welcome Booskina, thanks for the jewellery site link, it looks fab!

I've not got much fashion news, did a Uniqlo order for summer things and will link what I keep. I need more work clothes! I'm within a couple of pounds of what I weighed last Christmas now, but some of my more fitted things are still a bit tight.

MarshaBradyo · 20/03/2019 11:31

Booskina welcome great Chloe boots, maybe you can get them with a discount from mytheresa or somewhere

Shop look after yourself kiddo Flowers

My bargainous Frame

MarshaBradyo · 20/03/2019 11:38

Bargainous and very soft Duffy cashmere

Not sure whether to return this Kate Spade wallet as the price is swaying me, not sure it’s me though

These are cotton but might not be matt enough Bodas

Stokey · 20/03/2019 14:29

Lib we've just started, dust everywhere. Had to decamp to caf this morning, working from home much less chilled when you're coughing your lungs up. But we do have a temporary kitchen set up with microwave & 2 hobs so not just living on cereal!

Sorry to hear about DF Shop so tough.

Hi Booksina I went into &OS the other day and was very uninspired, whereas it's normally a staple. I'm not very into the colours they have this year, lots of oranges & pinks which don't do much for me.
Good Outnet buys Marsha

Good work on getting back to your pre baby weight Blair, it's not easy!

Everyonelovessparkles · 20/03/2019 16:34

Welcome booksina. Do stick around! The Chloe boots are quite pricey - do you think you would get a lot of wear out of them / have an idea of what outfits you’d wear them with? If you do, then I guess the cost per wear will be worth it?

Sorry to hear about your DF shop. Does the hospital stay mean you have lost the place in the care home? Do you think you Dbro could talk to your dad into the care home? Maybe as he is a bit removed from the day to day your DF might take on board his comments??? What a lovely thoughtful gesture though from a fellow voguette Flowers.

Well done on the baby weight blair. I’ve found that even though I’m more or less (probably more Grin) the same weight as pre DC my stomach is definitely softer! You always do so well in Uniqlo! I never see anything in there.

Shame with you and the Outnet marsha you always seem to get some great stuff at a good price, but even though I’m always having a look, I never seem to have much luck. I like the Kate spade wallet but if you’re not sure then maybe return it.

Yes monsoon seems to be hanging on queenc, I noticed that John Lewis have started stocking them. Unless they have a good summer season I can’t see them being around next year.

I had a quick look in &OS today as I had seen a dress and top online but wanted to try them on. Annoyingly they didn’t have either in the regent st store. I wasn’t massively inspired either stokey. It just seemed to be a sea of camel with a bit of yellow, green and black interspersed. Good luck with the building work!

Boden had sent me a £15 voucher so I’ve ordered the Richmond shorts in black. I’ve got a pair in navy but in a 12 and they a bit too lose so have gone for a 10. No doubt these will be a bit too tight Hmm. I’ve got my eye on these tan sandals. They are pretty similar to the dune ones from last year that I loved. Not sure whether to just get another pair of those or splash out on the KG ones? From one extreme to another - I have been trawling the sales online as quite fancy a new smart winter coat. I’ve seen a couple from Hobbs red, hsame in navy or furry collar. Any thoughts?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 20/03/2019 17:26

everyone I think I actually prefer the original Dune ones, though I'm sure I saw that they had gone up in price from last year Hmm I also saw some very similar to the original Saint Laurent ones at Massimo Dutti.

Thinking about it you're right - I do have loads of Uniqlo stuff! Fingers crossed for the latest buys.

I tried on that blue Romy coat in the winter, much prefer that to the fur trimmed one. If you already have a navy/black/grey type coat I think I'd get the red, so nice and bright.

Love your bargains Marsha, agree not sure about the wallet, do you need one? How is the outnet CS these days?

DryWhiteagainW · 20/03/2019 18:39

Everyone I’ve just ordered those black shorts too, thought they’d be here today Angry ....must halt summer buying

shopafrolic · 20/03/2019 19:19

More lovely things from Voguettes today - you are a lovely, supportive, fabulous bunch. Flowers

Everyonelovessparkles · 21/03/2019 08:05

Yes I think the dune slides have gone up blair. I was tempted to buy a pair last year as suspected they would increase the price but never got round to it. Was there any reason you didn’t get the Romy Hobbs coat? Given it’s the end of the sales I doubt there will be any in store so will have to order online.

I think summer clothes are just more fun to buy dry! My summer wardrobe is far more extensive than my winter one.

What a lovely surprise shop. Hope you are doing ok.

Wearing a french connection skirt today that must be 10 years old! And a size 10 Grin. I know it is regularly said that sizes have increased, but I often find that I fit fine into my old size 10s, but am always a 12 in new stuff Hmm.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 21/03/2019 11:35

Everyone no it was just a random try on in John Lewis :) and I do have a navy coat already, though it is a short peacoat.

Ordered this summer dress from Dorothy Perkins of all places. 100% cotton so hopefully it'll be nice, I might wear it to my sister's hen do which I'm organising.

Everyonelovessparkles · 22/03/2019 09:34

I ordered both the red and navy Romy coat in the end. I was undecided and with low stock my FOMO kicked in Grin, so will decide which one to keep when they arrive.

Did your shorts arrive dry? MU e came yesterday. They fit perfectly on the waist but are more fitted than I thought, so look a bit like hot pants Hmm. Might be ok for round the house / holiday but not sure I could get away with wearing them on the school run etc. Will have a think because at £38 they are quite pricey if I feel uncomfortable in them.

Nice dress blair. What have you got planned for the hen do?

MarshaBradyo · 22/03/2019 09:54

Good idea Everyone - try both. I couldn’t find a link to the outnet skirt I got but it’s really short. I’ll only wear it in the garden or holiday (probably)

Blair love that dress for you, cs seems ok I always do the priority delivery as I can’t bear waiting ages for it to turn up or returns

I don’t have a wallet and haven’t since I bought the trio ages ago, and don’t bother using one with the box but Dh kept saying he’d get me one as my cards float around the baby bag I use. I should send it back I think hard to bother when it’s not much £ but I should.

Brexit is nuts atm, we’ve (finally) booked an Easter holiday too.

MarshaBradyo · 22/03/2019 09:55

Good luck Lib and Stokey with renovations. I’ve only done a kitchen and bathrooms in my life and that was intense enough

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 22/03/2019 10:16

Marsha what baby bag do you use? I will be going part time using annual leave in May for 3 months, and think it's time for a less "baby bag" baby bag. Maybe I could use my le pliage. Could a cardholder or 2 be a good compromise re the wallet?

We have decided against an extension as it's not our forever home and we probably wouldn't make the money back. Instead we're going to try to DIY improve our 30 year old UPVC (no brick) SW-facing conservatory to use as a playroom.

Ugh I'm so sick of hearing about Brexit. It's horrible realising these awful people are considered fit to run a country. It feels kind of selfish, but DH has got his Irish citizenship now, so that's something. Just want the shambles to be over one way or the other!

MarshaBradyo · 22/03/2019 10:55

It’s so tense-making isn’t it on the edge of it all. We’re in the same position with a lack lustre conservatory but replacing it would cost a lot as its just bolted on. We’d get no more space and I’m not sure it’s worth it from a value p.o.v. I keep changing my mind on this.

Baby bag - this is in-Voguelike but I rarely use a bag, on school pick up for example but if I do it’s a bright petit pan one which I put under the pram. So I’m rarely carrying anything on my shoulder. I need not to carry stuff as much as possible. Dd is heavy these days. Good point re cardholder

MarshaBradyo · 22/03/2019 10:55

Un-voguelike

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 22/03/2019 12:20

Yes ours goes under pram too, hate being loaded down. I don't have one atm as DH bought himself a separate manly one Grin I might just get one of those changing clutches to stuff in somewhere, now DS is older. I am still using my MJ cross body bag (thanks Dry for telling me to buy it!) even now I'm back at work as it's just so useful. Maybe I could treat myself to a nice leather open tote.

MarshaBradyo · 22/03/2019 12:25

Ha at manly one Grin dh is not opposed to carrying the bright flowery one, yes a new tote we can help you choose

FedupNagging · 22/03/2019 15:31

Just back from a few days away with dm-consisted mostly of ambling along slowly with lots of coffee and cake rest breaks eyes expanding waistline with horror. Very relaxing.

One neon pink pinafore sounds fab; how re you getting on with the wheelchair?

Well remembered Everyone it was me who chopped and frayed a pair of flared jeans-wore yesterday in fact with stans and CDC raspberry jumper. Might do the same with a pair of winter white jeans I don’t wear much but probably would if cropped and frayed.

Waves to Booksina - nice links and love the Chloe boots. We went to this restaurant in a cellar in Bath a couple of years ago and had fabulous food and wine.

FedupNagging · 22/03/2019 15:51

Blair such a pretty DP dress; was it you who purchased a dress with lemons from somewhere like Sainsbury’s? I loved that too.

You got some great bargains from the Outnet Marsha; have you returned the purse?

I picked up this Cardigan from jigsaw - possibly swayed by the 50% discount as don’t really need it Grin

I can't catch up with all that I've missed on here. Going to have a read back.

Shop big hug to you and Flowers

Lib thinking of you and all in NZ.

Longislandicetee · 23/03/2019 17:32

Hi Voguettes, it's been a really busy few weeks/months for me but been thinking of you all. First weekend where I have sat still on a Saturday afternoon for ages.

Just been browsing online. Saw these j crew pumps and thought of Dry (and maybe QueenC). Don't think the buckle is either of you but the shape definitely you!

DryWhiteagainW · 23/03/2019 22:09

Everyone the Boden shorts are going back. I don’t really like myself in shorts, especially with pasty blue/white winter legs!!!! I agree, they are a bit slim.

DryWhiteagainW · 23/03/2019 22:15

Blair DP is good for a cheap holiday dress. I bought this holiday dress last week. 100% cotton, looks cute with Gigis. I just don’t want to spend £££ on a dress I’ll wear once or twice a year.
