Lipstick Challenge January 2019.

I'm calling it! You know the rules, wear a different lipstick every day this month. (I love this and look forward to it every year.) Has it been a year already? I've been buying make-up (again) and have some lippies I need to get through! I'm not wearing anything at the moment, that will change come morning though.

Sorry I've not done the lipstick challenge as yet, I'm a sahp and not been up to much this week, if I'm honest I'm feeling pretty run down myself and am lacking in all motivation! Hopefully next week I'll be feeling a bit better!

Wearing beauty pie matte lipstick in power up pink today

Hourglass satin lipstick (from their refillable range, part of a xmas present) in I woke up. First time trying it and a quick lazy application but thought I'd see how it does. Feels very nice on - nice texture

Soap and Glory Rougenie today. Lovely blue red lipstick, matte but very comfortable and non drying. Lasts brilliantly and fades evenly. I did wear Rimmel Diva Red lipliner underneath which probably helped. I'm really impressed by Soap and Glory make up

lotta. I love their Sexy Mother Pukka lip gloss. Really tingly.

Today’s is a brighter pink; Kat Von D in Mother. Lovely texture liquid lipstick

Tried my new EL in candy today. I like the colour but don’t think it quite suits me. Also it needed to reapplied every half an hour. Very disappointed. Anyway, here’s a pic.

Statistically Nope, I have a lipstick I've had for nearly ten years (Revlon Va Va Violet) that I still wear. I know when make up goes off.

Today, my lips are still dry but I finally went to Tesco (except they didn't have my hot chocolate in stock) so I wanted to wear something. Enter in Kiko Jelly Jungle lip balm in Sangria (smells like sangria too!) Which is more on the sheer lipstick side of pigmentation than a tinted lip balm and is a nice cherry red. I bought this in June!

One of my big urban decay palettes says 6 months from opening. I could use it every day painted like a drag queen and still not finish one in 6 months.

I didn't buy the Revlon matte balm yesterday as they didn't have the colours I wanted, so I bought a brand I've never tried. It's Japanese and called Canmake I've bought the matte lipcrayon in No3! It's super cute and I will go back for more!

Sorry I missed a few days. On Wednesday I wore a Burts Bees lipstick in Doused Rose. I am a bit meh about the colour and the lipstick, it didn’t wear well at all. Yesterday I forgot to grab a new lipstick so had to repeat it.

Today I am in Rosie for M&S Lady Rose a nice MLBB shade which I am liking today.

Another EL Christmas one for me today, this one Rebellious Rose, as worn by a pp a few days ago. I like this colour more than the candy one I wore yesterday, but unfortunately it doesn’t last well either. It completely changes my colouring somehow!! My blue eyes appear green, and my rosy blusher didn’t look right at all.

today's is soap and glory pommie girl, and I like it a lot, goes on well, and has a nice cocoa butter type smell

I really want pommie Girl but it’s either been discontinued or it is sold out as I haven’t been able to get it on the Boots website.

oh no! I bought mine ages ago (maybe 3yrs) for an evening do, then forgot about it, and then discovered it a while ago in my bag. but it's soo nice

Morning all. Mac captive for me today. Probably more of an evening lipstick, but I love it, so am wearing it for a day hanging out with my toddler seeing as I don’t get nearly enough nights out these days.

I ignore use by dates. Still wear a lipstick from 1999!
I totally agree about time to use up. Who wears that much to use in a year?

Such a great red but limited edition. I use sparingly.

Part of a gift set (lip liner -not keen on them) with 50% off in Boots Jan Sale. feels really creamy & moisturising despite being a Matte lipstick.

Pinkie Probably! I love Kiko, their shops are fabulous and their make up isn't that expensive and is really good quality too.

lipstick Maybelline's matte lipsticks are really good. I like them, a lot. Even the powder matte ones that got rather bad reviews!

Yesterday I wore Rimmel the only one matte lipstick in Call The Shots (bright coral tinged pink) and Revlon Blue Sky (dark blue matte with tiny shimmer particles) from the Shoot The Moon collection.*

Today I wore another Rimmel the only one matte lipstick in Keep It Coral (a fairly muted coral) and Urban Decay vintage lipstick in UV-B (a pale shimmery blue.)
