Lipstick Challenge January 2019.

I'm calling it! You know the rules, wear a different lipstick every day this month. (I love this and look forward to it every year.) Has it been a year already? I've been buying make-up (again) and have some lippies I need to get through! I'm not wearing anything at the moment, that will change come morning though.

Argh, Aura, you've reminded me I never did take a picture of my haul! I promise I'll do it tomorrow!

Still no refund from Superdrug, I've emailed them and if they don't reply I'm going to PayPal! I am now skint and that money would be useful, (it would also be useful if I could learn how to budget... ) Still their fault though, according to their website it takes 14 days and Imma still waiting! I want ma moolah!

You are very knowledgeable about lipsticks, how do you keep track of your purchases and how do remember so much about them all? Do you keep a spreadsheet going or is it all in your head?

Joseph I have lists on my tablet and I keep it in my head, it's kinda 50/50 I suppose. So when I buy something I tick it off the list. I don't think I've ever forgotten that I own something, but it's never too late! And I like buying entire collections (within reason,) I am not going to buy every Urban Decay vice lipstick, for instance, but I bought all the NYX liquid suede lipsticks over the course of 2017, some of which technically cost nothing as I used my Boots points. But doing that helps me remember what I've got. 😊

I've just bought Revlon HD gel lipstick in Vineyard. I've had a stressful day worrying about money and I know it a lipstick costs money but.....£6.......and I feel so much better now and ready to face the world!

Thanks Lotta in my haste to investigate it a accidentally chipped the end off with the lid! but a quick wipe with a wet wipe and all is well again! Think I'll wear it tomorrow with a nude look and a touch of blush!

I had an exam yesterday (awful professional thing) that really shook me and I expect to have to resit.
Wore a Maybelline lipstick and it rise to the occasion. Not wearing today as in sulk. Results in 2 weeks.

Someone asked me about how I did the selfies. I just lie back under light and then zoom in and crop!

Revlon lip butter in candy apple red today. After my very pink selfies I thought I’d go more red today lol

That's a lovely colour Vintage, although I didn't get on with the formula. I found it weirdly drying for a product with 'butter' in the name!

Drat! I can sympathise, I woke up with one this morning (and I've got a cold, so not helping!)
Still been buying lipsticks though, I got all 12 of the NYX midnight chaos lip-glosses, (two were broken though, I'm waiting for a refund so I can replace them.) They were half price too!

And I bought one of the MAC Lucky Red lipsticks. I went to the shop, swatched Lady Danger and had to have it, bonus is it's in really pretty packaging (I didn't even look at the others, which is a shame, Lotus Light looks really pretty.)

I think Temptalia has better swatches though, it look far more orange in real life!

I've been buying lip stains, like Benetint but Asian brands. I'm really pleased with them.

Here they are, the first one is a pink/red, the second is a gorgeous wine colour, like a brown red, and the third is a bright pink. I love them!

Ooh, Buster, they look nice! I don't wear lipstains very often. Do you remember the felt tip pen ones? They were kinda fun.

Yeah I do Sapphire they are very similar but have the same applicator as a gloss. The first one by Etude House has amazing staying power! It's unreal. I also purchased an eyeshadow palette by The Balm today.
