Lord yes. ! Bizarre. It is that split seam, looks like breasts marked up for reduction surgery, or some strange peek a boo bra. Shame as the hat is fab, the outfit otherwise lovely, but the breasts...😮
I imagine everyone gawping at the breasts all afternoon.
Some other hideous things in that list too.

I like Sabine Getty's suit, the headscarf turban thing ,does not work for her. although I like the turban.
Poor Alice Naylor-leyland, her dress looks like something right out of Barbara Cartland's wardrobe.

Oh my poor eyes!! That Tatler link has some shockers. There's a reason most catwalk 'fashion' doesn't filter down to the high street, its performance art and should remain on stage. I agree with pp though that Kate has cleverly gone for a uniform with those coat dresses, must be so much easier and calmer to just pick a colour and crack on much like the queen does. I wonder if MM with all her navy and black isn't trying something similar. Maybe the view is 'let the slebs be clothes horses, the RF needs to move to a higher standard'

Once more this thread is influencing me as when I was in John Lewis I saw this by LK Bennett and wondered if Kate or Meghan would be the first to wear it!

The coat dresses are appropriate and pretty, but boring. I loved Kate in the Erdem. As for the neck pillow Anne Boleyn head gear, the one she wore to Louis's christening was not a good look; the Christmas one was better. 0n balance, I am not a fan.

I think the gold satin shorts with elasticated waist (Chloe Sevigny) probably takes the cake. As Topsey says, this is an object lesson in why catwalk fashion doesn't translate into wearable clothes. I think most of those in that Tatler feature come under the 'more money than sense' heading. In fact I think the only outfit I like is Meghan's.

Queen I'd say that dress is more Marklesque than Middletonian, personally. Can see Megan in that, bump and all.

Ooh i don't like the stripy dress. I couldn't see either of them in it i'm afraid. It reminds me of '80s Miss Selfridge!

In case you missed it, here's a review of royal style in 2018 - British and non-British. There's a whole lotta Maxima in the latter, as well as HH and HCP! There's also one shot of CP Mary that I thought was Kate!

It’s hard when you lose a loved one. Lost my fab FIL a while back & I still get so tearful.

Going back to fave outfits of the year, this one of Meghans i really liked. Carolina Herrera and horribly expensive but the sort of dress I'd love to have
