I'm If you want to learn about skincare and stuff then fine, but it's not important in the grand scheme of things. I am a total makeup addict but I am glad my school hours or were not taken up with eyelash curling lessons, or how to flatter my bust, instead of something that would expand my mind. Fashion and skincare have about as much place in schools as cricket league tables or the pop charts. If how to dress was part of schooling in days of yore, I'm glad those days are gone because I'm sure girls would have had the shit end of that stick (same with baby-rearing).
Case in point, this discussion about Zara's nails in her engagement photos. I appreciate a nicely manicured hand but she came out with uneven, jagged nails and that's totally fine. It suits her lifestyle and shows her personality and I think it's brilliant that she threw that particular grooming rule out the window.
