What do we think about accent nail manicures?

Are they nice? I've seen some that I think look pretty cool and others that just look weird. Need to redo my gels this week and contemplating taking the plunge! I know I'm massively behind the curve btw.

Also sort of shameless thread to show off any accent nail manicures you may be sporting please! Bonus points if they're Christmassy.

I'm not defending it but I thought this was pretty tame for S&B, I hardly ever post here now though so might be wrong. It was certainly par for the course a few years ago with tunics, leggings, "mum boots", "school run dresses" all causing very heated debate.

I honestly don't think that people would be so rude about this stuff in real life. It's just nails after all.

It’s not rudeness, it’s just honesty. Of course people tell polite social lies IRL Tht’s why it’s handy to be able to ask here.

Baby names is another really good board for completely honest, anonymous opinions.

For me, any style rules or limitations I usually impose on myself are completely suspended for the whole festive season. I wouldn’t wear nail stickers, decorations, glitter or metallics at any other time of the year but I’m currently sporting Rudolph nail stickers/wraps on my thumb nails and the rest are a pink rose metallic colour. At the weekend my ring fingers had holly wraps with the rest glittery gold. Christmas allows for them I think!

Flowery those are fab!! Here are mine which I did quickly yesterday, supposed to be sliver holo but not as much holo as I would have liked.
I’ll be having red glitter with a green accent for Xmas day.

Just had these done this morning. I love an accent nail but I always go for a stamp rather than a different colour as I worry it looks like I've made a mistake!
