  1. What is it?
  2. What kind of coverage does it have?
  3. What type of skin do you have?

I only apply once and it lasts all day. I assume the reapplying relates to the spf but I use a proper spf anyway.
It does contain snail mucin so if that’s not something you’re ok with then it’s not for you.

SallieSallow · 11/12/2018 20:46

It does last all day, and yes the every two hours is if you’re relying on it as your only spf. I just treat it as a normal foundation and use other products for sun protection.

N07 Essentially Natural
I could never find the right shade before so I got it macthed with the doo-dar thing. (I am white and quite pale)
It's light/medium. Not full coverage. I also got the concealer stick that I use if I have any particular patches I need extra coverage.
Combination skin but leaning towards dryer.

It can work out about £7 if you have a boots voucher too.

SlowNorris · 11/12/2018 20:53

Ah I see, so no need to top the foundation up.

Not sure how I feel about snail murder Sad

I use Laura Mercier silk creme moisturising and I love it. It's medium-full coverage, lasts really well and has the most beautiful finish. The only downside is the shade range isn't great so I would go in store and try it in person.

BearFoxBear · 11/12/2018 21:00

Another vote for Bobbi Brown Skin. It's flawless and the only foundation I buy on repeat without considering replacements, and I've tried most of the others that have already been recommended!

SlowNorris · 11/12/2018 21:01

I love the LM silk too but due to the shade range issues can only really use it in the summer. It works perfectly on my forehead, nose and chin as I don’t need as much coverage there. Definitely doesn’t cover enough for my cheeks though.

I use maybelline mousse matte as a base then Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter foundation on top which is amazing

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 11/12/2018 21:09

Rimmel 25hr.
It's a medium to heavy coverage but not ultra matte.Normal/combination skin

anitagreen · 11/12/2018 21:15

Huda beauty £34.
It's a full coverage but has an overpowering scent but I liked it,
Set it with powder and then my setting spray actually stayed on till next morning when I forgot to wash it off after drinks Envy

Aqua25 · 11/12/2018 21:21

@*slownorris Just researching the it cosmetics (why didn’t I do this first) and apparently the tube says to apply every 2 hours? and it contains snail secretion?

What foundation was this? Thats nasty

JustGettingStarted · 11/12/2018 21:29

I love IT CC! I found it at the Boots in Liverpool centre, but I haven't seen it at other Boots. I ordered more online. It really does provide full coverage that looks like natural, flawless skin.

Prior to that, my favourite was Dior Airflash which I applied by spraying it on a fluffy brush then to my face. Again, flawless full coverage that's also invis.

JustGettingStarted · 11/12/2018 21:29

Estée Lauder double wear. Rilliqnt

canibehereifimnotamum · 11/12/2018 21:36

Brilliant* full coverage.
Normal skin

gobbin · 11/12/2018 21:54

L’Oreal True Match, cheap as chips.
Medium coverage.
Dry, aging skin.

Use it over LM Radiance primer and it makes me look fresh and awake.

SlowNorris · 11/12/2018 22:14

Aqua it’s the ‘It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream’.

I was wondering about Huda and maybe Fenti but read a lot of reviews that said they cause cake face. I wish samples were easier to obtain.

Oh i see, never heard of that company. I hope you find one that is right for you. Channel also has great coverage but has a lot of lead in it iv been told so i switched to EL

sammy891 · 11/12/2018 23:08

Estée Lauder Double Wear.
Full Coverage.
Combination/Oily skin.

Have tried numerous foundations from high end to populae drugstore ones but nothing beats the immaculate finish of DW. If my skin is drier in the winter then I add a drop of oil with the foundation and apply to help make it less heavy which really helps.

CatherineMaitland · 11/12/2018 23:30

Was recommended Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint in ivory at a make-up lesson. I've only been wearing it regularly for the last week or so and everyone I've spoken to has said "Oh you look well."

I have both pink and yellow undertones but apparently a bit more yellow - anything too pink turns up the pink to neon but anything too yellow makes me look sick and ill.

Coverage-wise it's not as light as you would think from the name. I have mainly oily skin and use a loose powder as well.

Lynne45 · 11/12/2018 23:40

Nars sheer glow. Medium coverage but buildable.
My skin is so dry, took me years to find a decent foundation.

224as · 11/12/2018 23:40

Dior forever undercover
Medium-full coverage.
Normal skin with oily t-zone, prone to hormonal spots on chin

When applied with a beauty blender it makes my skin look completely smooth and flawless, melts in to the skin and gives a great texture, looks like perfect skin not like foundation, doesn’t wear off during the day or go oily and separate on nose etc.

justilou1 · 11/12/2018 23:51

It Cosmetics is awesome.... Love the L'Oreal Pro Glow as well. Neither really stay put where I live. (Sub-tropical, hot, sweaty, humid, bastard area in Australia.). They look great and I always get compliments on both. Prefer the look of the L'Oreal, tbh and over here the colour selection is better. I always buy the It Cosmetics though because it contains sunscreen, and unlike other foundations, the amount is actually quite effective. (Although I don't rely on it alone, I did once or twice forget to apply sunscreen on my neck, so schmeered this on instead and it seemed to work - wasn't great for my t-shirt though!)

toddlermom · 12/12/2018 00:08

It cosmetics cc cream in light! Amazing!or NUDA foundation which I LOVE and is flawless ( but I don't wear every day, more for going out) it's amazing

toddlermom · 12/12/2018 00:09

HUDA sorry!! 😂🙈
