Finished my Simple anti aging face wash which I love but I have a soap and glory vitamin C full size bottle to use up next.

ememem84 · 28/05/2019 13:33

no empties to report - just want to boost the thread to my "im on" section...

i did have to go to boots today to buy.....headlice treatment for ds. sign at nursery this morning, saying we should all check our kids. ffs. this was the one thing i was dreading more than chickenpox or sick bugs.

i've been feeling all weird today as well ever since seeing the sign. all itchy and scratchy. was tempted to bath myself in the nit treatment but then i'd have to go buy more...

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/05/2019 17:08

Burts Bees bodywash finished ( it was DDs but there was just enough for one shower so I had it ) Wink It is really nice , not much in the way of honey scented showergels out there.
I offered her a new bottle but she chose some Soaper Douper showergel instead.

Amfeelingfline · 29/05/2019 17:43

I’m quite relieved I found this thread, I thought I was pretty much on my own with my beauty hoarding! I’ve got to do some work in the garden but will have a proper read through and maybe share my hoard later 😁

Caggie09 · 29/05/2019 18:14

70isalimit Ohhh, burts bee's shower gel sounds interesting! Something honey scented would excite me!

Used up Feather and down sleep butter. More of a soufflé if im honest. Moisturing and smelt lovely. Would repurchase but ive stacks of body products to work through!

Did buy a Ted Baker blush pink body butter today, so one in, one out!

ememem84 · 29/05/2019 19:55

I have put my soap and glory body butter in the bathroom to remind me to use it every day. Because well. I’m not.

Have used up a method foaming handwash today in green tea and lime I think. (The bright green one anyway). Smelled nice.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 30/05/2019 20:56

I have donated 5 lipgloss and 2 nail varnishes that were part of gifts but are not my colour to a local charity.

I've bought some new Maria Nila shampoos and conditioner. I am currently struggling with hair loss after giving birth, and my hair gets very knotted and frizzy, so thought a new shampoo would help with the frizz and make it easier to brush, so I am not pulling and tugging too much.

I have finished a Rodial vit c brightening cleanser. It was a travel size/luxury sample. It was okay, it didn't do more or less than Cetaphil but smelled of industrial cleaning products.

Guerlain Super Lips lip balm. I liked this, but I am really loving the Laneige lip sleeping mask so I will probably not buy the Guerlain again.

Zendium Extra Fresh toothpaste. Love this. It tastes great and is SLS free, so I don't get mouth ulcers.

Did a back to Mac the other day with some products I've had lying around for a while and some empties my mum saved for me, and got Ruby Woo which is lovely.

Not empties, but I have binned some Dove deodorants as they just smelled awful - my DH hated them, I hated them and my baby seemed uncomfortable being fed and held by me the days I was wearing them.

Pennycandy · 01/06/2019 22:55

Hi all,
Have not posted in ages. @Caggie09 I have a Fab Fit Fun subscription too. They send lots of good skin and makeup items usually. My box is to arrive this upcoming week.

I have a few empties not near as many as I would like:
Matching shampoo and conditioner I bought at the salon when I got my hair highlighted a while back. Was supposed to be color safe
Physicians Formula talc free pressed powder
old eye brow pencil from Cover girl
Laura Mercier cavier stick (the last little bit popped out and fell on the carpet {confused} thought best to just toss it)

ememem84 · 04/06/2019 06:01

Grapefruit soap from body shop.

No7 eyebrow pencil.

Caggie09 · 04/06/2019 18:32

@Pennycandy, mine arrives today. Full of really good products! Cancelled it though as was a one of! Might get the next one depending whats in it!

Lots of empties- seems i get rid of rhings but add more stuff in🤷‍♀️.

Patisserie de bain orange crush shower creme. Boring

Korres golden elixir. Was a tiny little bottle, not enough to notice anything.

Aussie wash n blow. Decent enough

Nuxe shower oil. This smelt beautiful, the scent reminds me of the soap stalls in France. Have plenty if shower things to use up so wont buy again.

Superdrug body cream tub.

Charlottle Tilbury super model body. Sat in my draw for years. Mixed it with a tinted body lotion. Dont see the point in this product tbh..

St. Tropez gradual tan lotion. Ive not used tan for along time. Was a nice change from pale skinSmile

Poundland #6 collagen facemask. I liked it, not had for a pound and abit of a pamper!

Revlon foundation too.

Soap and glory bug rub of righteous butter done.

Moved onto half empty aveeno baby stuff. Don’t use it on ds so anymore so may as well use it for myself.

FrowningFlamingo · 08/06/2019 03:31

I’ve finished an m&s natural
Ingredients body butter in a small pot. I think it was part of a gift set.
It was quite nice. Nothing spectacular but it had a nice fragrance which wasn’t too overpowering.

Experiment627 · 09/06/2019 10:35

@RiskIt4Biscuit are the new hair products helping? My hair has not been great either 😔

I have an empty:

  • Aveeno soothing relief baby emollient cream: ok so Kwicklet mainly uses this but I felt like I had not posted in ages
  • Body Shop pink grapefruit shower gel massive one: love the smell of this

I have been a bit quiet as we moved... bloody exhausted!!! Strangely despite having 2 extra rooms it appears I have less storage space than before... and my hope of being able to have all beauty stuff in one space has been thwarted!

@ememem84 hope you were able to tackle the headlice. I would strongly recommend NOT using any chemical products - the lice are resistant and the chemicals are dangerous. Best to break their lifecycle by using the Bug Buster Kit - the charity that sell this (Community Hygiene Concern) also have educational materials for schools to use - as this treatment is much more effective when done by the whole school at the same time.

Thanks for the tip experiment I was using headrin. Just treated my hair again... so gross.

Bought tea tree shampoo too as this apparently repels life. Eugh.

Will deff take a look at the bug buster stuff though.

CantChoose · 14/06/2019 08:45

I’ve finished a mini nuxe creme fraiche day moisturiser, the normal skin one. I really likes it and would definitely consider repurchasing in the unlikely event I ever run out of day cream!

RiskIt4Biscuit · 14/06/2019 09:33

@Experiment627 The new products aren’t helping with the hair loss, but that’s to be expected. They do however make my hair less knotted and frizzy so it is easier to brush without tugging, pulling and breaking.

I’ve finished a Kevin Aucoin liquid contour wand in medium. I like it and still have 3 backups.

CantChoose · 14/06/2019 12:05

I’m also shedding post partum. Horrible isn’t it!

Experiment627 · 14/06/2019 20:12

@ememem84 Hedrin is vile; tea tree oil will do nada - sorry! Hope you get on with Bug Busting (c)!

Off tomorrow on holibubs!!!! Have never packed so few cosmetics but Kwicklet needs a lot of stuff!!!

ememem84 · 18/06/2019 12:22

Aveeno baby moisturiser finished today.

STarted on a joules rose body butter. A travel size one.

CantChoose · 18/06/2019 13:19

@ememem84 I love rose stuff, I hope it’s nice.

I’ve finished a korres lime and basil shower gel. It was lovely as all korres shower gels IMO.

I got out a radox grapefruit one from the stash and used it this morning - turns out it’s with basil too. Jo Malone has a lot to answer for!

ememem84 · 18/06/2019 13:29

can't i'm not really fussed about the rose scent if im honest as i usually find it a bit overpowering. But am determined to use it up. it's only a travel size one thought so should be gone in a couple of days.
