I have some empties!!

  • Boots No7 Beautiful Skin cleansing oil: I LOVE this but I think it has been discontinued 😭😭😭😭😭 I had a Sanctuary oil in my stash
  • Aveeno Baby soothing relief baby emollient cream: ok so Kwicklet used most of this but I used up the dregs on my legs. This is nice - sinks in fast and seems to help with his eczema
  • Clarins instant eye make-up remover 50ml: ok but I prefer micellar water so I can wipe over face too
  • Vinoterapia shower gel 50ml: part of a gift set - quite sweet smelling

I feel like I have not had a beauty product blowout in ages... I keep on yearning to have one but then promise myself I can do this once we have moved as then there will be more space to see everything I have plus store the stash!!! Hope I get a completion date next week 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

More Vinoterapia empties here:

Very interested in the Vinoterapia stuff, Experiment (like I need it!). What do you think in terms of value for money, if you had bought it yourself?

I have another empty: Superdry vitamin E body lotion, which was part of a freebie, but I really, really liked it. Very moisturising, sunk in very well, and super cheap. Not much fragrance (though I think this is part of the appeal as it is good for sensitive skin). Moving on to Aveeno body yoghurt moisturiser now, but it isn't as good as the body lotion, as it leaves a powder type residue which I don't like. And I have 200ml of the stuff to get through.

ememem84 · 17/04/2019 21:53

Clinique all about eyes eye cream done. As are John Frieda frizz ease shampoo and conditioner.

Also a boots baby lavender bedtime bath. Ds used the majority of it. But I finished it off.

New eye cream in the stash and some new travel size shampoos in the shower.

Caggie09 · 19/04/2019 21:35

I really wanted to try and go on a no buy for about a month or two, but i have seen Aldi are doing a Pink Clay range, so a dupe for the sand and sky, think thats been around a while? A pink clay hot cloth cleanser and an exfoliator🥴 Its not too expensive i just dont have the room for it all, but im abit FOMO!! Might buy it, and go no buy for a month🙈 Seems a short time, but in the last 2 months ive spent £££!

Anyway throwing some bits out;

Bella pierre banana powder. I wont use it, and i dont like how it looks on top of my foundation.

Revolution golden kiss highlighter. Was a freebie in a mag. Nothing wrong with the product, just using another highlighter pallete and this will just sit and fester!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 19/04/2019 22:28

Finished - rice milk and cherry blossom shower mousse. Love the smell but it didn't last long, I think I am too heavy handed .

Bought a TeaTree showergel (for my 19yo DS) which is paired with a TeaTree Citrus shower gel, it will be perfect for Summer.

Waiting patiently for M&S to have a special offer then I'll buy a 1litre Shampure ......stamps feet .

CantChoose · 20/04/2019 01:48

I've finished yet about small size of the M&S sleep cream. Still don't get the hype, sorry! I know it's really popular in mn but I think it just isn't for me. I don't hate it... maybe it needs sleep to activate it and with BabyCant I just don't get enough to make it work Grin

Also finished a teeny, free in-flight, tube of Crabtree and Evelyn jojoba hand cream. I really liked this but have enough hand cream in the stash to last for eternity.

ememem84 · 20/04/2019 11:57

Moved on to Brazilian keratin shampoo and conditioner. Travel sizes. Liked this actually so when it’s gone and I’ve used up my other shampoo (redken all soft stuff) I might buy the big bottles of it.

Also started using some bumble and bumble surf texture spray today. Whether my hair needs it is another matter. But it’s there so I’m giving it a go. We’re out for dinner later so have sprayed my hair and have sock bunned it in the hopes of glorious beach waves.

If it doesn’t work this way I’ll messy bun it and try again another day!

Experiment627 · 21/04/2019 12:02

@WellTidy the Vinoterapia stuff came from Tenerife - was nice enough but I have no idea what it retails for (was a gift)... contained gold specs which I think was the volcanic bit 🧐

@Caggie09 I have FOMO too!!! I saw the Aldi stuff too! Pending move is my only deterrent!

@CantChoose oh I really like the Sleep Cream - it is my HG. But we all have different skin so I get it might not be your fave.

Happy Easter everyone!

I've used up an Olay skincare serum and binned an urban decay mascara which dried up quickly.

What do other's think of the primark eye palettes which MSE likened to Urban decay naked, it's ok but I think the eyeshadow s are not as forgiving as my Clinique ones. Especially on older eyes?

Well done everyone who is using up stuff. It is hard and I try not to buy too much new stuff.

CantChoose · 21/04/2019 12:22

@Experiment627 I don't hate it. I just don't love it.
But I've never found a night cream I really like to be honest. I want something that feels thick and luxurious but is actually light as I'm prone to oiliness.

IPokeBadgers · 21/04/2019 13:27

Finished up a superdrug BPure micellar water, big bottle. Love this, much prefer it to others so will definitely repurchase in the future.

However, as I succumbed to the QVC elemis Xmas TSV I have a couple of huge bottles of the elemis micellar water to use up first....it's also really lovely and works well to remove makeup.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/04/2019 15:05

I bought the Aldi Pink face mask for my DD ( I do her a Beauty Advent Calendar) in December , she really liked it . It has a nifty little brush to apply it .

I got a new one and the Scrub for her last week, things in Aldi appear then vanish .

CantChoose you might like the Elemis PCMC Night one , it isn't greasy , absorbs well. I don't like the regular day one but I like the night version

LivingDeadGirlUK · 21/04/2019 17:27

I have finished something finally! Clarins relax shower gel 100mil it lasted ages and lathered well but I did not like the smell.

Also a Dove roll on deoderent.

WellTidy · 21/04/2019 17:33

IVE finished a 15ml m and s 8 hour sleep cream this week too. I thought it was ok, would use it if it came as part of a beauty set again but I wouldn’t buy it.

WellTidy · 21/04/2019 17:37

experiment GReat was that it was from Tenerife as I won’t be tempted to buy it and add to the obscene stash!

Experiment627 · 21/04/2019 19:23

@CantChoose haave you tried Astral? Cheap as chips - very thick... not sure if right for your skin but worth a try?

@WellTidy 😂😂😂 you could always go on holiday there?

Ok so I have some empties!

  • The Body Shop Vitamin E aqua boost essence lotion 160ml: ok but I think the Superdrug B. one was better
  • Mane n Tail shampoo and conditioner 60ml: I like this but it did little to stop my hair from getting greasy. I realy struggle with shampoo and conditioner!!! I think I am just going to have to go back to my old ways of washing my hair every day...
  • L'occitane almond shower oil 35ml: love the smell

I am trying really hard to get through odds and sods before we move (still no date). So am using stuff up in ways not necessarily in the right way 😬

OP posts:
CantChoose · 21/04/2019 20:41

@70isaLimitNotaTarget ah you're right actually, I love it. But I do not love the price 🙈 I live in hope of finding a dupe... otherwise I might treat myself once I'm back to work!

@WellTidy that's exactly how I feel about it.

@Experiment627 no I haven't but I like the sound of cheap as chips so maybe I should!

IPokeBadgers · 22/04/2019 18:37

Another empty.: A hand cream bought in DM in Munich. Love this, cut it open to get every last drop, and i have a couple of spares in the stash as heaven knows when/if I'll get back to Germany.
DM is like a really big Superdrug and when I am in Germany it's always top of my shopping list 😁

Caggie09 · 22/04/2019 20:31

I see the Loccitane shower oils pop up everywhere, ive never tried any. I must add that to a never ending list of things to buy!

Empties;

Superdrug Vit E gentle exfoliator. I really liked this, and the smell reminds me of holidays when i was younger. Must try more out of the range purely for the scent!

Sally Hansen polish remover. Holy grail.

Frank body scrub. Again, holy grail.

Simple de stress sheet mask. I really liked this, was £1.50 and my skin looked really good after use. Bargain too.

Beauty pro under eye masks. I liked them, wouldnt buy again. See pixi have some out think there £20 a pop for a tub. May or may not buy!

A cheap lip mask from Savers, didnt notice a difference. Got them just for "pamper" reasons!Grin

Experiment627 · 24/04/2019 08:40

@Caggie09 I love the Superdrug vitamin E smell too!!! 😍

I have an empty:

  • Dr Darren McKeown aha active radiance cleanser: this is my holy grail face wash but alas I rarely find on ebay anymore and this was my last bottle 😭😭😭😭😭

bobinks · 25/04/2019 21:47

A couple of empties to report

Naked Shine Mallow and Honey Shampoo so old not even sure they exist anymore! Was OK but nothing amazing.

Priddy Essentials Neroli and Verbena hand cream expensive, quite greasy, wouldn't buy again. Prefer Superdrug or Aldi glycerin handcreams Grin

ememem84 · 26/04/2019 06:53

I’ve had to beg dh to help me finish off the soap and glory face wash.

Less than 1cm left in the bottle. It’s standing upside down now in the shower. Almost there.....

Mitchum deodorant finished. Nothing special. Although I do like this. And have a few more stashed away.

Caggie09 · 26/04/2019 16:36

This is all my stuff from today🙈

Cant wait to try the Aldi bits! And ive wanted to try the Pound rip off, of NO7. So thats another face mask, the 7th heaven are also in poundland, And the Being by sanctuary were just 50p, so ive not spent that much. I just have nowhere for these things. I have to tuck them away in my wardrobe😂 Im abit weird when jt comes to my stash, i like to have categories!
