Very cool, will suit you.when I first met you your hair was very short.

Longislandicetee · 17/10/2018 21:23

Oh how exciting Dry! Shop, you can't do this to me!!!! I am not good with change! Loved your short hair, took me ages to get used to it long, love it that way now and now you're changing it again.

Justa, I love the photos. The detailing on the outfits is just awesome!

Feeling very cheerful this evening as we have 2 more days to half term. The last month has been all about making it to the this far one piece (or something close to it) as I have had a lot going on. Today i have been channelling a bit of Dry and a bit of the Duchess of Sussex. I wore my faux leather Karen Millen skirt with this Karen Millen sheer jersey top and then over it i wore Burberry Kensington trench coat and carried my battered Balenciaga Giant City bag. I also wore these M&S children's boots which are very comfortable and look good. Unfortunately i have had more health issues recently so anything with a heel is a no no. It's a real challenge to still look something approaching stylish!

DryWhiteagainW · 17/10/2018 22:30

Blingy because the Duchess of Sussex and I are practically twins......love being mentioned in the same sentance as royalty Grin

I’ve been breaking land speed records doing interval training on the bike so hopefully will look a little less obscene in my leather pencil skirt this A/W Grin

DryWhiteagainW · 17/10/2018 22:30

“Sentence”.....apologies

shopafrolic · 17/10/2018 23:09

Don’t worry Blingy my boobs and legs will always be a constant (until they start sagging) Grin

Dry that all sounds very exciting for you. Are you going to requalify?

Shop I love that short style and having seen you with short hair, you'll definitely carry it off. What have you decided to do with the colour?

Blingy sorry to hear you're having health problems again, hope you get it sorted. You always look super stylish whatever you wear, don't let a pair of flats make you feel otherwise! Anyway, think of the bunions in later life you'll avoid - every cloud....Grin

shopafrolic · 18/10/2018 14:28

That’s a size 10 trainer next to my hair Grin

MarshaBradyo · 18/10/2018 18:58

I bought these MiH Niki crop in indigo without the step hem and wore them straight away - got them with Matches discount but her is wrong link to NaP as I like the styling much better ;

MarshaBradyo · 18/10/2018 19:00

I’m not sure whether to keep this Marant belt

How often do you wear a belt?

shopafrolic · 18/10/2018 19:15

I have two Marant belts and rate them highly.

Hello

First Shop your hair is beautiful (channelling Atomic) , you'd look great with it that length.

Secondly have just spent two hours shopping for a winter coat and have hardly even found anything I want to try on. I don't want fur, teddy types or a belt and it has to be smart enough for work.

Quite liked this one in Topshop but the material is appalling, so thin and unlined. I'd happily pay 3 times as much for better quality.
I also like this Stories one but they didn;t have it in store, and would prefer the green which has sold out. Also feel it may be too textured.

Anyone seen anything similar to the TS one but better quality? It's so depressing.

shopafrolic · 19/10/2018 14:10

any good Stokey?

MarshaBradyo · 19/10/2018 17:42

Has anyone had a long lunch in town somewhere they’ve loved?

Dh and I have Monday off and plan to be indulgent - with dd doing her lunch date thing as per usual ; cannot wait

What’s everyone’s plans for half term?

maradesbois · 19/10/2018 19:57

Marsha sounds perfect! A few ideas are Scott’s or 34 for relaxed plush, Bocca di lupo in Soho for bustling Italian with top food, yoshino for great sushi reasonably priced and super friendly.

I saw Sarah Harris from Vogue today at a work thing, she was v casual cool, love her.

Am loving the half moon justa, it had loads of love from the girls at work. Wore it today cross body with the APC floral dress and tod’s brogues, felt good and very me. Love your new buys.

Dry exciting times and lovely to know how much you are valued. Will you do it?

Shop so glad you went for it, short suits you so much, you look like when I first met you all those years ago except you aren’t autumn any more!

MarshaBradyo · 19/10/2018 20:17

Brilliant thanks Mara Flowers I knew you’d have good ideas. Your work sounds so ace, as does your outfit

DryWhiteagainW · 20/10/2018 09:34
