but i have loads and loads of grey jeans/black washed jeans....

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 10:32

At least 3 pairs, mind you, they are a size 14 so are a bit big and work their way down iykwim. Suppose i could ebay them.

Laska5772 · 17/08/2018 10:34

The black one is very similar fabric last years black one which I have and I liked . I just didn't think this years suited me as well or was that flattering on me . (but i have actually ordered the grey to try as I wanted to make up zebra leggings order for free postage ) .

Love the zebra skirt on you Smile.. flock T looks nice also ( i like the long sleeve one in petrol also )

Are they the Jackson jeans? I like the black Bailey but also too expensive

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 10:40

Yes they are. This is the denim shirt. Pretty ordinary and not worth it. Wearing it with flock star tee underneath and m& s denim skirt from ebay!

Ooh, never it all looks so good on you. I especially like the black tops and the zebra skirt. I wonder is the Meg skirt similar in style to the Florence from last year? I found that quite restrictive around my tummy/waist so I am hoping it fits me better this season!

I am on the hunt for a lovely cashmere jumper this year and may opt for a men's crew neck in navy. I want it nice and baggy but not massive. The neck has to be a wide round neck (I am nodding away at your neck descriptions, Soy and totally agree it can make or break a sweater when you have big boobs!)

I am still dithering over selling clothes. My main issue is that I am in Ireland and to post to the UK, which is a better market, is quite expensive especially if it has to be insured/signed for. That jacks the price up a fair bit unless I put most of it into my selling price. I should just get the finger out and try it I guess. (I sell nail polish second hand all the time and post it round the world and have only ever had 2 mishaps/non-deliveries and I have sold plenty of clothes within Ireland)

Got distracted with work (as you do, sorry!) and have just opened to find never’s photos
That leopard skirt is fab on you! Keep!
Also really like the way skinnies, v neck and flock T look on you so I’d say Keep Keep.
The dressnot so much, maybe in the pics we can’t appreciate the fabric quality or fluidity but I think it hides your neat figure never
Like the leopard leggings look good but you’ll need to shorten to make them perfect.
Denim shirt doesn’t look bad but totally agree not worth the £ and not a fan of the frayed edges on it (for once) I think it cheapens the look
I’m being totally honest here based on the pics but plenty there to Keep for sure! 😍

SoyYo · 17/08/2018 11:31

miffy glad my comment on jumper round necks made sense! I’ve always been tempted by Pure company jumpers but never taken the plunge, they do have bargainous discounts often and are vastly reduced at sale time so may be worth a look as they do a lot of cashmere and cherries seems to rate the quality.
ella what a lovely idea the clothes swap, charity raising and 🍷thrown in for good measure. I like it!

I may try the Boden FB Page too to offload some never worn shoes which are so fabulous but were mistakes in hindsight (before I resigned myself to having kipper feet and only going for comfort).

enabledlurker · 17/08/2018 11:35

I have a similar problem re postgemiffyWe are in France.I bought a M&S men's cashmere in the sale last year because all the women's had sold out before the sale got to us.

Love the zebra skirtNeverIs the denim shirt longer at the back and is it soft or hard denim please?

Does anybody have any thoughts on the velour top?It looks lovely on the model and I fancy it dressed up with a silk scarf.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 11:35

Thanks Miffy
I have decided to return the leopard print leggings as i think they are too baggy on me on the leg on the second try. Just for people if they are ordering. I would say size down. I would go for the small.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 11:36

The denim is fairly soft. Not hard. :)

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 11:40

Thanks soyo I completely agree. Things to go back so far are:
Leopard leggings - too long and baggy on the leg for me.
Dress - Its ok. Im not in love with it. Its also quite narrow.
Denim shirt - Its just not worth it imo.
I like the jeans but are they worth it? um..not sure. On the fence with these.
Zebra skirt - love
Wide v-neck looks great imo and great with skirt so keeping.
star tee - its nice..but is is just another tee? On the fence but inclined to keep. Not sure.
Thanks for everyones comments.

Laska5772 · 17/08/2018 11:49

I am wearing my black and grey Amies today and charcoal slub..

Those Leggings are quite long but i still love them!

Washed Ivy S came. Is too big and going back.. they have XS in again , but as no Hush friends free delivery .. am not ordering.. also I REALLY dont need it looking at my pile of clothes on bed Blush

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 11:54

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 11:57

Sorry about crap pic. Doing a strange twist. I am also wearing my faded black hush jeans from years ago!

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 11:58

I kept my small one but it quite generous on me. The xs when i ordered at the beginning of the summer season was neat on my upper arms so i just kept the small.

SoyYo · 17/08/2018 11:58

laska I can see the halo is starting to shine Grin
never on the T I like it (but not the person to ask as I love black and stars Wink)
On the v neck now sorely tempted (noooooo) did you go for M or S?
The skinnies, had a look online at the embroidered skinny ones but it’s only down the side (like the ones in the sale) and tbh barely visible so if you need black skinnies that fit and you like the denim ones (look great on you) why not swap for the black version which also looks fabulous and a proper deep black dye?

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 11:59

@Laska, that related to the washed ivy.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 12:00

I have the small on the v-neck. I love how it is neat on the arms and baggy on the body!

SoyYo · 17/08/2018 12:01

Ignore me...after I posted saw you wearing previous seasons black skinnies which look great on you...

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 12:01

Soyo Tbh, the black ones look great but look at the picture of the jeans that i am wearing with the denim jacket. They were once black!!! They have really faded!

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 12:02
  • sorry - denim shirt!!!
SoyYo · 17/08/2018 12:03

Yes I really like the look of the v neck now...wish I had Hush friends delivery as I’d order right now (was going to but then laska comment put me off) but I will resist till my returns are refunded next week

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 12:04

Right now im thinking i like the blue skinnies..quite a lot but i feel i could get an equally good pair from next for £24? I mean they are SO expensive, even with the discount.

SoyYo · 17/08/2018 12:05

Then never if you need new black skinnies more than denim I’d definetely swap (but not the star ones which have the faded look and are even more £ so worth trying but only on the sale I think)
