Those leggings... Who has Hush leggings ?Do they keep their shape ? Will i regret not keeping the smaller ones?

SoyYo · 16/08/2018 13:39

Faith frayed jumper is the name, reduced to £35 and I got it with the extra 10% off so good value compared to the v neck I’m returning or the new V neck top you’re returning

SoyYo · 16/08/2018 13:40

each have a lovely Madonna bash! You were rocking the look 😎

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 13:40

I agree with everything you have said in your reviews. Good to see things in real life. Like the leopard print leggings. I ordered the medium too [looked at the reviews for the plain ones] I have ordered the black V-neck too. It doesn't look great for the price tbh and think it will be a return. The green wide top looks really nice. Shame about the star print jeans buy you said what I had feared. Surprised they are kind of stuck on plasticky things - thought they would be printed and definitely thought they would fade. Not worth the money.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 13:42

@Laska - read the reviews for the plain ones. I think they are really good quality according to them.

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 13:50

Not stuck on never over printed on the denim but in a kind of 'plastic paint' finish I cant really describe it , I just thinkit wont last , but i could be wrong..

Soy what would you say you are on top ( say in M&S) 10/12? I'm thinking I may go for the L.. reviews seem to say it comes up smaller

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 13:54

I know exactly what you mean Laska and I agree, it wouldn't last.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 13:54

Like the metallic things on their tees.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 13:56

They would have been better as the frayed ones in black.

dontcallmelen · 16/08/2018 13:56

Thanks for pics & feedback Laska the ivy dress looks lovely & the leopard print leggings.
I will give the wide top a miss I think then, based on your feedback they are a lot of money & I think can be bought elsewhere a lot cheaper.

Watchingtheworldgoby · 16/08/2018 14:02

Thanks for posting reviews. The black v is particularly disappointing looking. The knitwear this year is priced as if they pulled figures out of the air and put a number one in front of them!

Does anyone know where the clothes are made? If the workers are paid above the market rate and they are an ethical employer, I would pay extra for the clothes. If they are made in a sweatshop in India and the workers are not paid twice the minimum wage, I wiiukd prefer to buy from Free People/Oliver Bonas or similar.

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 14:03

grey and black AmiesSmile
Also the grey puff dress. Mark is still visible but liveable with. Dress is darker but I've taken photo in bright light to try and show the mark

..latest dyeing project that is ..

Watchingtheworldgoby · 16/08/2018 14:04

Are you keeping the striped amies? There is something very appealing about them though my daughter has a pair of pjs that are very similar.

ilovecherries · 16/08/2018 14:13

I thought the black wide top felt very different from the grey last year. I had the grey in a medium and really liked it but it had those Venetian blind stripes in the fabric. The black def felt a lot thinner.

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 14:14

Watch.I have no choice! Those were the black and white £13 sale Amies which I have dyed grey ! (I also dyed another pair of them in purple)

SoyYo · 16/08/2018 14:15

laska as a comparison the double v neck M&S top you recommended a while ago (perfect for black leopard skirt) is a 12. Usually in Hush I buy size 12 dresses due to boobage but can sometimes get away with a 10 like the printed Antibes top if it’s a very roomy style.
But if I buy any shirts which are more fitted then I definitely need a 14 or I get boob gap, it means I very rarely find good fitted shirts to fit 34FF chest.
The M in the black frayed jumper felt just right on me and you’re not as big cup size as me. Is that any help?

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 14:16

cherries My last years black wide top is also that thin silky fabric . (if anything slightly heavier than this years ). Definitely different from the grey one last year , which does have a slight stripe to it ( but not like yours went , which a was really bad )

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 14:23

Not sure about how ethical they are. Agree that the prices of the knitwear this season is just ridiculous.

SoyYo · 16/08/2018 14:23

Liking the latest dying projects 👍
watching good point about sustainability and labour rates tbh not sure but I suspect a lot is made outside EU...the stripy Amies are good quality and in the sale bargainous even if you’d only wear as at home trousers and as alternative to jammie trousers

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 14:26

The latest dying is great laska :) You have a flair for this :)

SoyYo · 16/08/2018 14:27

Reviews also said the v neck cream jumper was snug and to size up so originally I ordered a L. It was huge, beyond baggy. So reordered M (in latest pic now also returning due to keeping black) and the M size wise if I was keeping was just right

Watchingtheworldgoby · 16/08/2018 15:01

The striped joggers look great dyed! £13 is a great price. I returned a skirt and bought it again in the sale along with the Cassie dress for the same price! But.....the second skirt is way bigger than the one I returned even though they are supposed to be the same size. Don’t know what to do now tbh. The smaller size has sold out. Am annoyed the sizes are inconsistent!

Talisin · 16/08/2018 15:02

Ooh, just had the dispatch notice for my (mostly) new stuff order. It may, just, get here on Saturday rather than Monday if I’m lucky.

Talisin · 16/08/2018 15:05

Watching You have a few days grace before deciding whether to return or not so keep looking at the site around 8:30am to see if it comes back in in your size.
