Cowl neck would definitely look good Laska. Chunky knits look great with leather skirts/trousers imo.
Maybe you are like me - you get a vision of something that you think will look great in your head and then it's like an itch you have to scratch....
I'm having the same at the moment with my vision of a charcoal grey wool coat with black skinnies and Doc Martens in black or cherry red. I'll have to get them all or I will never sleep at night!

I’m liking all styling suggestions for the leather skirts, I had a black leather skirt many years ago, am quite fancying the idea of another one.
I got a really nice everyday black leather biker jacket, from sainsburys last year for £75.00 in the 25% sale, it’s really nice & soft a real bargain have worn it loads.

OOooooh I want DM's either the black or the oxblood. I have DM calf length boots but have a think for the lace ups so they are on my wish list too.

@Ella I’m like that, a couple of years ago I really wanted a pink fitted wool coat, I got one from Hobbs & have never worn it😳

Im thinking my hush woolly above the knee dress, woolly tights and dm's and a lovely wool coat with a thick scarf!!

Cant wait to see the Hush coat offerings this year. Although I may just wait to see what Toast have. Their sale coats are amazing prices and usually excellent quality. I was gutted last year that I did not buy one of their gorgeous purply tweed speckly coat. It was beautiful.

Yes Never we can enable each other with the DM's and prospective outfits then! I can't stop thinking about them the last few days, don't want to wish away the summer but am excited by prospect of new DM's...

Don'tcall - I used to have a bright pink coat from Dotty P's, years ago. I still miss it. : (

I searched high n low for some lace up ankle boots last year, as the slip on Chelsea boot type, make me look like a golf club they always gap at the ankle, have been tempted by dm’s but I think they might look a bit clumpy on me.

I have the most expensive pair of lace up ankle cheaney boots. Started to wear them more last year on a trip to Norway. They are beautiful. I got them from toast. They cost me about £270!!! But they will last forever. They will never date. I think they have them on their website. Beautiful beautiful boots.

They don't seem to have them this year. Only the slip ons.

Very nice Never. They are gorgeous. Very similar to the cherry red DM's as well. I am definitely swinging towards the red colour, think they will go with most things. What do you think, red or black?

Wore my maxi leopard skirt to dinner earlier. OH's parents who are out here with us celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

Len I am a bit the same with Chelsea boots, I feel they make my legs look a bit like golf clubs (not sure why).
I reckon you could make DM's work for you - they are a classic boot really. I had a pair when I was 15 and have never forgotten them. I used to wear mine with tie dye skirts and listen to the Levellers and Rage against the Machine feeling like the coolest girl in the world!
I'm getting exited just thinking about getting another pair!
They will work so well with everything I've already got - skinnies, ruched skirts, dresses with tights etc wtc.

@never oh my I’m in love (swoon fans self) they are sooo what I have been looking for, I had a pair very similar years ago even had the the same metal lace hooks, I wore them to death & have never been able to find a pair that have suited me since.
@Dave ooh enjoy love menorca as well, back now two weeks dgd was an angel & had a lovely chilled time.

@neveradullmoment99 they are lovely, unfortunately I tried a pair of the Pascal style earlier this year and they are way too narrow for my feet. I mean ridiculously narrow, couldn't even get my foot in! So I need to stick with the classic style. But I do love those.
