Marsha I never used but dsis swears by ao.com. When her washing machine broke (3 dc too!) new one was ordered & installed next day.

Fairy am guessing you are Southern Hemisphere too! Glad you love the Italian snow boots, I think they are a nice combination of chic and practical.

Everyone I say navy dress too, can see the point about yellow stars that someone raised but I think its fine here.

Bernice don’t waste money on a panic buy. I so nearly did for this wedding but in the end the dress I went for I love and will wear again. If you do get something new go for versatile, you can always dress up with hat etc. Have you looked at cos? I saw a lovely navy dress in there, will link if I can find.

So the wedding was ultra chic, gorgeous bride in Zuhair Murad, amazing outfits, spotted a full length erdem gown amongst others. Dh looked fab in grey tails with pink shirt. We had such fun. Am really glad I got the rossi satin kitten heels, they are gorgeous. Got a great hat in fenwick sale too.

Am debating an end of sale extra 20 matches order but not sure.

Marsha think how much you loved the msgm when you first tried it. Also how fab is Adriene? Have been doing her classes on and off for a few years, could listen to her all day.

Lib lack of daylight is a killer but remember the lovely summer you enjoyed, it will be back before too long.

Glad you’ve got the dishwasher sorted marsha. I’ve been without a dishwasher since January! Yes JANUARY!! I do miss it when there’s a stack of washing up or when it’s piled up on the side rather than being hidden away in the dishwasher, but overall, it hasn’t been as bad as I expected. That’s not to say, I don’t want it mended at some point though!

Good bag find dry. I bet you were glad you chanced it now! Was it busy? I remember going to Bicester once when it was boiling. It was so unpleasant with the hoards of people, we just couldn’t be bothered looking round.

I have seen a gorgeous D&G summer dress. Not overly fancy, just cotton, and is a good length. Obviously it is £££ but I’m soooooooo tempted. I keep thinking how it’s nearly bonus time and how childcare costs will be massively reduced once DS starts school, but I can’t really justify it...... can I?? Aaarrggghhhh

bernice tricky one. Are you sure you don’t have anything that you can dress up? I’d be tempted to buy something but then would be annoyed that it would sit in the wardrobe! Although it would depend on the wedding-close friend, I’d be more likely to buy something lovely but acquaintance I’d try and wear something I had.
everyone if you buy it make sure you can return it so it doesn’t turn into another BBB . I’ve been thinking of your BBB as I’ve realised the basket I have is probably too small to carry all the beach stuff so wondering what to use.

I’m busy packing for holiday and realised how much summer stuff I have. With this warm weather I’ve been buying bits and now probably have too much .

queenc 🤣🤣🤣 . I know, as much as I moaned about BBB, after that initial disappointment it actually turned out ok in the end, as it was the perfect size for beach stuff. It just wasn’t the summer day out ‘all rounder’ bag I was initially hoping for. Are there any baskets / bags in the sale that are a bit bigger than your current one?

I thought my summer wardrobe was ok but this hot weather has made me realise a lot of my stuff is looking quite tired, so will have a big culling session at the end of summer.

I do have my own BBB that I bought in Sardinia but the rope handles cut into my skin so I don’t like using it. Great for storing loo rolls though!!

Went to Bicester a few days ago and bought this skirt from The Kooples I'll admit I was slightly seduced by the reduction as it was down to £46 but actually it looks flattering on with a fine knit fitted jumper.

Need to go rummage now for something to wear to work tomorrow in a boiling office with no aircon

no style to report. too hot and bothered for style, just trying to survive until it rains and when it does finally rain, i'm going to stand outside and just let myself get soaked!!!

My hair is an abomination right now, it's so so frizzy and then sweaty on top no matter how often and how carefully i wash it. looking at various products to tame the frizz but have to be careful as I have fine hair (but lots and lots of it) so it gets weighed down easily. if anyone has any recommendations,t hey would be gratefully received!

Still in mexico. Loving the sun and the aircon! Style wise the best purchase is definitely the red Me&em maxi dress, the Zara tailored shorts and my white Comptoir dress from a few years back. I’m also definitely finding it worth spending more on swimwear as I really feel the difference in the more expensive stuff.
Mara is Tim still at the same place? Feel guilty but i’m Not likely to get to him anytime soon as DF has fallen and broken his hip. In hospital awaiting an op and has also been diagnosed with Pneumonia. Feel v scared as so far away.
QueenC my Day Birger st Mikkelsen bag is fab for beach / poolside. The Dressing room does them in loads of colours.

Marsha I love that red dress . Actually could see you looking incredible in it. Yes, linen does crease but that’s the look and in Italy I’ll be every sensible person will be wearing it to keep cool. Would look fab with espadrilles or some out on heel with ankle lacing.

Bought some khaki slouchy chinos yesterday for M and S. rolled up to ankle length, with white vest tucked in, tan belt and snakeskin Gigis, long necklace , stacked bracelets.....a new look for me but feels good (and DD approves so that’s a good sign)

You’re right Dry it does feel nice in this heat, plus the colour is more rose red so quite deep pinkish tone which I love

Op on DF delayed. Pneumonia in both lungs and struggling to eat so may be tomorrow instead.
MrShop got drunk with blokes twice his size last night and spent the whole night throwing up and miniShop had an upset tummy and pooed through his pyjamas all over the bed. Trying to get him in the toilet between H puking was no fun.
I have done yoga by myself this morning and am eating alone to try and calm down.
