Great round ups Shop and Dry

Everyone should use DPD to deliver. I got a while you were out card from DHL

How archaic, it should say while you were out we forgot to develop a decent app like DPD

Hello Dry, love your fashion observations. Belated thanks for new thread and glad you had a fab time in France. I loved Marcron in the rain at World Cup final!

Blair lolz at dh’s nail care ignorance Grin

lib I feel you, am working all summer apart from holidaying in the north of England - bit of a shock compared to last years 3 week Mediterranean escapade.

Ah, watches. I may not own much bling but do know a bit about timepieces.

Marsha you should be able to get a fairly recent second hand Patek Philippe at auction or from a dealer at around half the current rrp. If you get it serviced and polished plus new strap it will look brand new. I’d love a nautilus but will not be happening on my current salary!

I have a couple of watches but have had this classic
jaeger lecoultre reverso grand taille from new, was my 30th birthday gift from dh but been through lots of strap changes. The best place to go for leather straps is this place in Piccadilly arcade, they have a huge choice of leather with lots of colour options. I only wear men’s watches and the colours offered in the store are really masculine and limited. I could see you with a classic watch with pale blue leather strap for example. At the moment I’m wearing a bespoke tan alligator strap with white stitching.

Weekend sounds epic shop - I went to a hen do in Liverpool. Proper fashion celebrity sighting: Hilary Alexander shared a train carriage with us. She was very nice; wished the bride luck and helped me persuade everyone we should get cabs rather than take two further trains. Legend.

They really go for it up there. I felt underdressed in Herve Leger dress, sparkly Louboutins and Chanel bag! Almost killed myself on the first night though. Tactical fail.

In fashion news, not much to report. We are having dress down summer at work so I'm just on rinse repeat of a few sundresses. Did take delivery of this dress and this swimsuit though, both of which I love.

Will be making a big bag purchase in August though, when bonuses pay out. Currently vacillating between a few. There's one I really love but it isn't very 'me' which is throwing me. DH loves it, to add to the confusion! 😄

Blair can't believe how it's flown by! Are you very excited? Or just bloody sick of it now? I remember being pretty bad-tempered at full-term in a heatwave. But then I was no Pollyanna being overdue at Christmas either... maybe I'm just a moody bitch?

Hello to everyone else

Great holiday round ups Shop and dry. And Shop off for round 2 Envy

Amber I think that might be the most fabulous swimsuit ever!

Marsha great jeans and fantastic prices. I really like the dress. Have you decided if it's a keeper yet or not?

Turned 45 today, not feeling great, tired, fat, sore knees, sore back, not exercising enough. Need to do something to feel better but finding it hard to get motivated. My tan has faded too. Top tips for quick fixes appreciated!

Evening! I have just been reading back over the last few days or so. Big hugs to everyone, especially Lib.

I have been quiet on the shopping front as over the last month but I have been loving wearing my 2 pairs of wedges - I bought one in black and another in blue denim. Contemplating red for holiday next month! I have also been rotating my handbags a bit over the last few weeks. Yesterday, I used my Luella Giselle, which is stunning. New stuff: I wore this Michael Kors dress earlier this week. I wore it with castañer black wedges and it seemed to work. Also this Michael Kors dress.

Hope everyone having a nice Friday night!

Great round ups shop and dry! Glad you both had good weekends. Have a great holiday shop.

Happy belated birthday to you too lib. Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down. Sometimes birthdays can make you feel a bit contemplatory. Maybe also seeing that we are having such a great summer, yet you are going into winter, might be making you feel a bit homesick? You have achieved so much this year, you should be really proud of that!

mara enjoy the wedding. That’s a lovely Rixo dress. Can’t wait to hear about the fashions at the weddding. Sounds like it will be a great people watching event!

marsha not sure about that lilac dress. I see what you mean about the ‘mouldy’ pattern. Did you decide the dress you had chosen for your wedding was a keeper, only I thought you said at the MU that you DH was a bit unsure which made you doubt the choice (or had I totally misunderstood?)

amber - yes scouse ladies sure know how to dress up! I remember going to New York with a scouse friend of a friend who had taken a full suitcase of strappy dresses and heels - IN JANUARY when it was about -10 Grin.

Nice Michael Kors dresses blingy. I have a similar one to the white one and really like it.

I’ve had an absolute manic week. Not helped by a massive delay due to the BA systems outage on Wednesday. To say I’m glad it’s the weekend is an under statement.
Going to a friends for lunch today. It’s quite a casual affair and the weather will be hot, so not too sure what to wear. Might wear the new white hush dress.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Just a quick one. I’ve got my eye on this dress for A/W (yes I know it’s boiling, but I’m only looking, not purchasing Grin). I’m just not sure which colour way, what do you think - turquoisey blue or navy. Thanks!
