I have a question about silver. Want to buy DD a silver necklace. Does sterling silver tarnish eventually? If so can you get solid? What exactly is sterling? Guess I could just google.

Sterling silver is just silver - you want solid silver rather than plated. All silver tarnishes but v easy to clean with silver dip or a polishing cloth.

Bodyguard was fab - glad Line of Duty is coming back next year too.

rodial cleanser second cleanse with a cloth. I have just started on this Omorovica cleanser some nights too thermal cleanser not been that impressed so far though.

night cream

on alternate nights I use glycolic pads as either a first step or just on its own with nothing else.

Hope I haven't made it sound too complicated because it really isn't!

Mara I'm so pleased you bought that gorgeous shirt. I was hovering over the buy button since last night but then decided to be uncharacteristically sensible given the things I still need to buy for The Big Event . Look forward to hearing what you think of it, it looks so lovely.

Morning everyone! What a whirlwind of a weekend! I had such a lovely time at the MU. Great conversation, decent food (you can’t go wrong at that place!) and free flowing prosecco. Many highlights for me. from feeling Shops boobs and arse (it’s —my— our thing), miniMarsha’s toothy grins, FedUps flatforms which turned out to really suit her (I loved our giggle over it), Mara describing her previous boss, and loved the fact that Mara and Kitty wore the same lovely top. My lowlights were it all went far too quickly and I didn’t get enough time to chat to Sleep, Justa or Dry.

I don’t know about anyone else but i always end up having a total style crush on someone each MU. This time it was Bernice who looked so utterly exquisite in that blue and black dress and lush hair. Wouldn’t suit me in a month of Sunday’s but I loved it! Also loved Dry’s outfit, is that Oasis top recent. You looked so good in it I am not sure I could pull it off!

This morning Everyone is my favourite mumsnetter as I am wearing my new R&B wedge boots in size 36.5s. Slightly too big but feels more comfy than the 36s. Thank you for being so eagle eyed! They look great with my Hobbs Peggy skater knit dress (a a/w wardrobe favourite of about 6 years).

Happy with my ootd - mih frayed bottom jeans with white cotton hi-neck victorian shirt - stiffish cotton makes it sharper not flouncy as don’t do flounce. Mansur Gav heels (this type of outfit defo the way to wear them, they do look a bit frumpy with dresses), black blazer & red leather Gucci bag. Feel on it and ready to hit my new role running! It still feels that in-between weather here, not cold enough for coat or socks.

Enjoyed my friends birthday drinks. Wore my new 😀Boden dress with navy opaques and tan ankle boots. Felt terrible the next day. Not sure wine agrees with me.

This blue dress came at the weekend. I ordered a 10 and whereas it fittted fine, I’m not sure if I’d been better with a 12. Hopefully will try one on tomorrow and make my mind up.

Morning! I am on a train into London for the first time since February - solo it feels weird but nice. I'm going to see my dermatologist. My ankles are a bit sore (anyone else have that postpartum?) but my SPD went completely as soon as I gave birth, so this is the most walking I will have done for many months!

Can I waffle a bit about skirt lengths? I tend to wear my skirts either on the knee or just above in winter. With the security of black opaques (I know how much you love them Marsha ) In summer I go a bit longer, perhaps it’s the footwear or bare legs but midi works for me in summer only. Keep trying for winter, with ankle boots (not enough leg shows) and knee length (look frumpy)......do I just ditch trying .....am worried I may be a bit long in the tooth for short skirt/ankle boot combo. Sorry for the long paragraph but my return button has stopped working.

I think black opaques only work with short skirts. Maybe you need to try with flesh coloured? But I get that wouldn’t be as warm.

I think you are right Shop as I have tried midi with opaques and it only looks good with my leopard trainers. Otherwise it looks better if you can see a bit of flesh. I do like the midi skirt and slouchy boot look though but I don't want to spend too much on them. You are defo not too old for short skirt and ankle boots Dry! My return button seems to have stopped working too...

I'm tempted by these zara boots could they work with midi or maxi skirts and opaques? Will they be excruciatingly uncomfortable?

Great MU round up so won't bore you with what's already been said. It was so lovely to see you all again and I always come away with a huge smile on my face. Mara and Justa sum it up perfectly re: friendship. As per, everyone looked stylish rocking their own look with a Clic Clac here and a Goyard there and I loved twinning with Mara Lib this is the blouse APC but I can't link the dress. Next time I need to catch up with Bernice and Sleep Dry I too can't hit my return button either - annoying. Shop there's a follow on on Friday, will have to set a reminder.
