I had such a great time at Blingy’s beautiful house, amazing home, lovely food and prosecco flowing. Really really indulgent

And I’ve added stopping to tie espadrille strings with heavy baby in a sling on the street to really hard things to do

On the plus side One, you'll be nearer your family (I think?) but such a shame if you're loving where you are.

I promised links earlier - I tried on many, many things so will only link a few:

Whistles dress - didn't like it on

Leopard print top - loved the style but too much brown for my colouring

Flowers AND green - way outside my comfort zone but actually really liked it

Boden dress - amazingly this fitted dress looked really nice and flattering but was very conscious of my stomach however, I may well order this in a size up so it skims rather than clings

Green velvet from Hobbs gorgeous dress but style and colour totally wrong

Boyfriend jeans are out but girlfriends are a possible alternative to skinnies

I did purchase some makeup so didn't come home completely empty handed - 2 lipsticks (LM & Clarins) and mascara from Kiko

yeah, we'll be close to our families fedup it's just not the move i'd thought we'd be making but there's a multitude of reasons it needs to happen

Dry I hear you on the burgundy/red wardrobe dilemma, I have it too. Am currently wearing this marant jacket a lot as perfect for the coldnotcold weather but need to avoid red bag and accessories.

Fedup I wouldn’t have put you in that Boden dress shape but sometimes its good to push out of comfort zones, am sure a more fitted style like that suits you.

Last Friday, I Had an incident with my phone so had to go to Apple. Whilst waiting for the store to open i nipped into next and these shoes caught my eye. I haven’t taken them off since!

Mara I saw somewhere red and burgundy together, but tonal.....doesn’t sit well for me but actually looked good. I tried my burgundy blouse with red coat and it kind of worked without being wow.

I found this worth a watch - although I reckon Lou is clearly paranoid about her body shape as there were no real shots of the back of any of the jeans she wore which was a bit frustrating as I wanted to see pocket placement. Anyway - it's made me think I need to step away from the skinnies for a while......

That’s interesting Dry, I like burgundy and pink even though don’t really wear pink myself, just not sure about red.

Today feels autumnal albeit nice but I normally wear summer clothes for too long and get ill so wore tights with the apc liberty dress and black suede Gucci marmont block heels. Feels good and hides a multitude of sins while I shed the excess lbs.

Forecast for next sat is 21 with sunny intervals so not winter clothes weather (for me anyway); it's like that here today so wearing AR wide leg trousers, grey supergas, cream zara s/s top ,cropped Boden cardi & giant shades of blue scarf & it feels just right

Thanks for the denim video Shop, I'm confused at the moment, all my jeans feel a bit wrong. Think I'm like a bigger version of Lou - who looks super slim - it is hard to dress big hips and boobs, with a short waist, I struggle with high waists. I may cut the bottom off my skinny R&Bs.

I bought some black ankle boots in the Stories sale, but think they're going back as the heels are a bit too high for my everyday tube journey & 25 min walk. I'm on the look out for something more functional that is suitable for work. Also got a green silk blouse which seems to have sold out.

I'd struggle with red & burgundy Dry & Mara. I need a new winter coat this year, and may end up going for a boring colour so it's easy to accessorise. That said I do like the really dark greens that are around at the moment, like this.
On that note, anyone going for slouchy boots? I'm quite into the midi dress, slouchy boot look although may be too short to rock it.

THe topshop jeans are awful . It’s like the late 80s/early 90s called and they want their jeans back. You know you’re getting old when you put something on and see your younger self looking back. Maybe I’ll just stick to skinnies after all!

I swapped over all my clothes the other day, putting away summer stuff and getting out a/W stuff. Forgotten how much I had! I’ve just done a big clear out of stuff that I no longer love. Yet again my figure has changed but this time it’s my boobs/ribs/back fat that has expanded and some tops no longer fit properly. Gutted because my navy star top is one of them. Also my beloved toast top is going as it looks worn and faded now.
I’m going to attempt to not buy much this winter as there really is nothing I need .

stokey I reckon you could rock slouchy boots/midi dress. You’re kind of how I’d like to dress but I’m not cool enough to pull off your looks. Love that green coat.

FedUp, pity about that Whistles dress, it looks really nice on the screen! I agree about the leopard top, and i normally love a good leopard top! Loved the Boden dress, but not so much the Kin and Hobbs dresses!

QueenC, that velvet top looks great but i bet i would find the the tie bit annoying after a while! about the TopShop jeans and i more than feel your pain on the body changing. I am going through the same thing and it's so depressing!

Stokey I love those boots. Quite tempted myself. Although I am totally lusting after Louise’s Boots in the video I linked. If anyone sees a high st version......
I am also fancying some more slouchy boots, or maybe even a suede cowboy boot that would drop a bit round the ankle. Not that i’ve ever seen a suede cowboy boot.
