Viva big hug to you. I read your thread - sounds v tough.
Hard seeing DF today, not sure he fully recognised me and he didn’t recognise pics of miniShop. He had the op yesterday, they tried to sit him in a chair today but he was in too much pain. Tough times ahead I fear and hard to manage with miniShop on hols.
Sending love to you all. Enjoy your hols those who are heading off.

FedupNagging · 02/08/2018 10:34

Blair, fingers crossed babyblair arrives soon - hope you're resting as much as poss.

Shop am sending lots of positive thoughts your way plus a big hug. Same for you too Viva.

My iPad is on its last legs so have struggled to open links; I did see the IM blouse you linked Marsha -can't remember if you purchased but I really liked it and thought it would look fab with jeans.

Happy holidays to Marsha, Everyone and Dry; I read the Adam Kay book-it's definitely worth a read. Also love Curtis Sittenfeld so that book is now on my wish list. I think we like similar books Dry so let me know if they're worth reading. I've made a conscious effort this year to ditch the iPad & tv in favour of reading and so far have read about 35 books!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/08/2018 14:39

Thanks fedup I am resting as in not doing much, but finding it hard to get comfortable generally, so not lying around on the sofa. Sitting on my birth ball right now!

Everyone oh wow the dress is beautiful, I bet the print is just stunning in real life. Hope you can try it on soon and scratch that itch.

shop Flowers for you and your DF, hope it's onwards and upwards from now on with his recovery.

Has anyone got any AW wishlists yet? I think I might want some new trainers (but will try taking a magic sponge to my Stans first) and last night I found myself thinking about leather leggings!

shopafrolic · 02/08/2018 18:18

Hey guys - I need something positive to aim for. Does anyone fancy a September MU date? x

MarshaBradyo · 02/08/2018 18:50

Yep I’m in Shop fo sho

Blair
(Thinking of you magnitude making me go quiet Grin)

Fedup andDry I loved Curtis S - there was a school one wasn’t there? Great reminder downloading books tonight

Have done one last premium NaP sale order will link tomorrow, and realised dd needs an actual dress for wedding so quickly ordered one plus iPhone X arrives tomorrow - loads!

DryWhiteagainW · 02/08/2018 19:25

Marsha I think this is the school one. I loved “An/the American Wife”. fedup I’m a terrible binge watcher of Netflix/Amazon which is why I love holidays......reading lots of paper books, turning pages....heaven.

Because we are driving to our holiday my packing is going nuts. I’m telling everyone else to take it easy......but have a big suitcase in my sights Grin

MarshaBradyo · 02/08/2018 19:30

Haha brilliant

I loved that one too!

I haven’t started yet so much to do

DryWhiteagainW · 02/08/2018 21:23

Marsha I have 3 pairs of Gigis ....can’t decide so they’re all going in.....they’re small right? Grin

OP posts:
MarshaBradyo · 02/08/2018 21:40

Yes! And way better than my options as you can imagine!
Espadrilles, Mansur Gs and Marants to travel in plus trying some new Manur Gs tomorrow

If I was in a car I’d take dd’s entire baby situation Grin

shopafrolic · 02/08/2018 23:25

Dry step away from the Gigi’s Grin
So that’s you and me for a MU then Marsha

DryWhiteagainW · 03/08/2018 07:31

Me me......but can’t do 1 or 15th

Dreamqueen · 03/08/2018 08:42

I'm up for a Sept MU.

Blair looking forward to hearing about arrival of BabyBlair

Shop hope DF is improving.

Viva Flowers for you .

libertyonhertravels · 03/08/2018 09:31

Hi all, I'm so behind here.

Marsha did you keep the GV blouse? So gorgeous but hard to think of styling options other than with pale wash jeans or trousers like the styling photo.

Dry I read 'This is going to hurt' in two evenings - great recommendation. You definitely don't need 3 pairs of Gigis on hols (sorry!).

Shop big hugs my friend Flowers

Viva I read your relationships thread. So hard for you. But despite the fact we've never met, I have a picture of you in my head as a no nonsense, strong willed lady and I just know you have the strength, wisdom and courage to get through this and thrive no matter how things pan out it the end. Stay here and keep talking.

Blair hope you don't have to wait too much longer, so exciting Smile

BerniceBobsHerHair · 03/08/2018 09:53

I would be up for a September MU though later Sept would be easier for me...obviously go for what is best for the majority though.

Thanks for the book recommendations Dry - I think I will download Little Fires everywhere - sounds good.

PS I am with Lib on the gigis Grin

VivaVegas · 03/08/2018 10:59

Thanks for your kind words ladies and to those that have PMd me.
Would love to make a September MU if I can, although at the moment the only Saturday I could do is 15th.
Taking my mind off the other stuff, my best holiday buys have been my black Uniglo shorts for evenings and a black
M & S top I got in the sale along with some Black sandals. I also got this nice navy cotton cover up.

shopafrolic · 03/08/2018 13:05

The Anna sale is in final reduction with 70% off. I just picked up these sneakers and these jeans. Nearly bought a Bella Freud sweater too but I ran out of ££.

kittyhello · 03/08/2018 13:32

Great buys Shop I love GG trainers, I too would be up for September MU

Viva Flowers ditto Lib and really hope you can make the MU

Dream and Bernice it would be lovely to catch up with you again too.

Lib how's life with you? Hopefully a bit calmer.

Blair is today the day?

Dry take them all , they're only small Grin

I've recently joined a book club but am not over enamoured yet with the book I'm reading, hopefully it will come.

M&S have really upped their stakes in the shoe department this year, i hadn't shopped there for years and this year I have bought 4 pairs of shoes, all of which have received compliments.

I recently bought:

sliders they look much more expensive irl and a bit Gucci-esq

and these

leather sandals will be great for holidays as I've gone off my Gigis.

shopafrolic · 03/08/2018 13:43

22nd of September for next London MU then. Let me know if you can make it and i’ll get booking x

FedupNagging · 03/08/2018 13:51

Yup, I can do a MU in September except 15th.

Nice M&S buys Viva - my local M&S had the bardot top in yellow which is not my colour - I def would have bought it in black. Have just read your thread Flowers

Cool sneakers Shop; how is df doing today?

That is such a pretty dress Everyone - have you ordered?

I have made some purchases - mostly work out gear too boring to link. However I did buy a red shirt from Whistles and a pair of chino shorts from White Stuff - I am most definitely not a fan of shorts but these didn't look too bad and didn't break the bank.

FedupNagging · 03/08/2018 13:53

Oops, link fail - was trying to post the pictures!

Whistles shirt

Shorts in grey

FedupNagging · 03/08/2018 13:54

Cross post Shop - 22nd September is in the diary
