All this holiday talk is making me jealous. We’re off soon for a couple of weeks in Cornwall. I just can’t wait. The DC are driving me mad at the bottom. Constantly squabbling, not doing anything you ask them and just tipping out all the time. There is a lot of shouting going on at the moment . I think I’m still under the weather as am so tired which isn’t helping with my patience.

DF is being operated on today - finally. So I won't see him until tomorrow but I have caught up with DM so I know what to expect.

I'm still waiting, due Friday, thanks everybody for thinking of me :) oh god it was bliss last week when the temp suddenly dropped and the rain came, I don't know how I was coping to be honest. At least I didn't have to give birth in that heat. It is warming up again but I don't think it'll be as bad, as we've had this respite.

Kitty no definite name yet but we're down to 3 and have been for a while, so think we'll just see what happens, although I think we do have a favourite.

I downloaded an app called Stylebook and have spent the last few days visually cataloguing most of my wardrobe (via Pinterest and google images). I've now got 240 items in there that I can make outfits with and track how often I wear stuff (obviously not at the moment lol!). Would recommend to anyone else anal about this sort of thing, especially as it's made me realise that I DO own enough clothes and need to shop carefully this autumn! :)

Blair I have that app. I downloaded it last year and used it religiously. It's frightening to see how much your wardrobe is worth isn't it? I also got a bit anal about watching the cpw come down for some items Due to being ridiculously busy I haven't used it for months but you may have spurred me to re-use it. It's been updated recently hasn't it? I bet Friday can't come quick enough for you. xx

That app sounds good. I’m so rubbish. Had a very good spell of sensible spending, but have looked at the things I’ve bought (and didn’t need) this season and don’t really love at all. Too late to return. If I add up what I spent on “little” bits I could cry. It’s pathetic really. I’ve really got to control myself.

We are away but things are very strained between DH and I.
I was driving myself mad so have posted what's going on in the relationships thread to try and make sense of what's going on and what I need to do.
It's a horrible mess and if anyone had said to me even 3 months ago that this would be the state of my marriage I would have laughed at them.
My only current positive is that as a result of the stress and lack of appetite I look the best I've done in a bikini for years! Although sadly DH just seems oblivious to me 🙁

Oh no Viva sounds very difficult . I hope you get some good advice on the relationships board.

I did end up 'shopping my wardrobe' for the wedding - a red M&S x Alexa dress I think some of you have seen before, with a new purchase of Castaner espadrills - really pleased with these as they are a good heel height for me.

Last minute buys

Marant skirt, sized up so can be lower and a tad longer
Got the top too but sent it back, proportions not great

And have noticed espadrilles due to voguettes Manebi. Great fit, perfect, almost too good as they feel air on. Need to get used to the height

Glad you found something for the wedding bernice and even better that it was something you already owned! Nice espadrilles too. Do you mean the D&G dress? I’ve decided that I will try it on and then decide - partly because I wasn’t sure which size and partly because it’s one thing to like a dress and another to like it on me! And for that price I will need to love it!

Thinking of you blair. Not long now! My SIL had the baby a week early so I have another lovely neice.

Have you worn the things you have bought dry? I’ve bought quite a few dresses this summer but worn them all, and a few of them several times. I think this is the sign of a good purchase, whereas things we buy but stay unworn maybe are the ones where we get caught up in the thrill of the purchase and are a bit surplus to requirements.

This is the dress blair. It’s not to everyone’s taste and the pattern is quite big, which is why I want to try it on, so not sure whether it will suit me, but I just think it’s pretty and I like the colours.

My DD has a great wardrobe too marsha . I’ve got an iPhone 8. I like it, though it’s not that much different to the others to be honest!

I recently got an IphoneX marsha and I love it.

The screen is a lot bigger as there is no home button anymore (so that takes some getting used to)

Love that Marant skirt but that is a style that doesn’t suit me as it makes my pear shape hips look huge and my legs ever shorter.

blair my recent outnet orders have been fine as well but I haven’t had to return anything so can’t say what CS is like. I do miss them mentioning which size the model is wearing as that is usually a good indicator for my size to me.

dry I also have spells where I spend too much money on little things and then I get my act back together and save my money for one big quality purchase.

Everyone I adore that dress.

Everyone I have worn ,and love, the majority of my purchases. 5 tops I bought on impulse have not been good purchases though. All in the £25-30 price range but added up ......frustrating. And Blair I don’t link everything I buy ....will get back on track.

I’ve just read this brilliant, very funny, a real eye opener, easy read, good holiday book.
