My order still hasn't arrived and the weather has changed. It is dark here today with clouds and light rain. Maybe its a sign to stop buying summer clothes and get ready for Autumn/Winter instead. Unpacking summer dresses when I am looking out at this weather is a reminder of the reality of our usual weather.

When will Hush have the next sale? Will all the current summer clothes be in it? I think at this stage, I might be better off returning my order when I receive it and just waiting for the sale.

whitesea You are right about the reality of the weather. Are you also from Scotland? I forget who says they are except for cherries. Its been warm but dull. If I weren't going away, I wouldn't bother buying more summer items but I do like the long shorts with the stars and have worn my others to death over the last few summers as they are versatile and more practical than a skirt imo. So happy to keep. What is your order whitesea?

I always hesitate with things like maxi dresses and thin see through dresses that are quite beachy or white. Anything I have bought I feel I could easily wear in my usual rubbish North West of Scotland weather with a cardi. I never do white. Its just not me.

Im not sure about the sale and further mark downs. Hush surprised me in the winter sale and never reduced them at all. I reckon they will make an appearance this winter like the camel long woolly fluffy jumper dress that I loved and never kept as I got the forest green one.

Hot and sunny again here in the North East today. Crossing my fingers it'll stay like this a little longer for our Devon holiday next week. I've never worn so many summer clothes so for long.. I've had to buy so many new things for the hot weather.
I'm holding out for Autumn/Winter now too. There is nothing else I need now at all and I love buying winter clothes and boots.

Have you got any of their skinny jeans never? I've never had any other Hush jeans than the ones I've bought this year and will be looking to get some black skinny or slim leg jeans this autumn, do they usually do them and do you know what they're like size wise?

Yes, I have the 3 pairs. I think one was the holly crop. They are true to size generally. I always find them tight at the waist because of my tummy but most people find they fit fine. I have the 14's and they still fit ok except they slide down and a bit baggy at the crotch as I am a 12 now.

I will probably sell them on ebay and buy myself a new pair of size 12's as I just cannot wear them without a belt.

It was the first day wearing my silver Moshulu slides that I tripped up the steps at work and broke my toe !! Carelessness though .. I have worn Moshulu slides loads before with no ill effect..

33 deg here today.. blue bay dress worn again with my gold Salties .. .. Not really looking forward to coming back Sat though

Its always hard to leave. The 3wks have passed quite quickly. You still have a few days left. Make the most of them :) Hopefully you will bring the sun back with you. No idea where it has gone today. It did appear about 4pm but now looks pretty thundery.

..and then you have all your Hush to look forward to and your semi retirement!! Sounds ok to me!

I cba packing. I have it all lying out. Not taking that much. 3 dresses, 5 shorts, all my hush Grecian tops, 2 M&S tops and the lovely macramé one and a cardi if it gets chilly and to leave in. Taking my star slides from Hush, Ash scream slides, Moheda clogs and will wear trainers [super comfy] Not taking saltwaters this year as the red doesn't go with everything.

Yeah....all that I know and seeing Dpusscat and the kids grandkids etc.. it just that I love Greece so .. (esp here - Pelion.This is our 13th year coming here!!.its just idyllic)

Cba with packing either, keep going upstairs looking through the wardrobe & drawers, look at the cases & come back down again.

dontcallmelen This is exactly me. If it was just my stuff but its all the kids stuff arrggghh!!!!

@neveradullmoment99 I haven’t even got the excuse of kids stuff anymore, daft but I find it really stressful especially as the luggage allowance is so mean now, I get all excited as I have some really nice summer stuff & want to take it all😂

Well fortunately we are driving but I do agree about the baggage allowance being mean. We went away over Easter and I was shocked at how much we couldn't take! We ended up paying for an extra baggage allowance. We were going over to visit relatives and were taking things for them.

@never I was toying with the paying for extra, but in truth probably wouldn’t wear it all, only going for a week to menorca will be two year old dgd first holiday abroad, so I am chief playmate, enjoy your trip we have had some truly lovely holidays in Italy.

Friday morning am looking forward too it, I am totally besotted with dgd she is truly a most wonderful gift, as a successful pregnancy very much against the odds due to dd’s health problems.

Lost a post re holiday packing last night.but if its any use ....
So for the 3 weeks ive been away I have taken 2 panel maxis, 2 Iris dresses,1Alanis dress,2 Bay dresses -all worn loads.
Marissa dress -worn once so far, 3 kaftans/ beach cover ups (1hush) all worn loads. Strapless bra (totally invaluable) 1 hush T short dress (worn twice) Santanta skirt worn twice and Goa top from last yr worn once. Otherthings were 2 shorts (only 1worn )and about 6 vest tops (3 worn ).2 pairs Saltwaters 2bikinis, 7 knickers ! 2 cardis for travelling .2 t shirts and toast skirt.
I have lived in the Hush dresses ! And could have left most else at home. Travelled in a toast denim jersey mini and 3/4 leggings with hush slub T and cardi
