How rude to ask you if you had borrowed your dd sweatshirt. Mean spiteful cow. She absolutely was doing it deliberately out of pure jealousy over your weight loss and confidence. When people lose weight it can bring out nasty behaviours from other people who become jealous of your new look. Don't let it define what you do and who you are. Its her problem. Continue to look great.

After the uni comment, she is definitely a bit of a Caah & agree people who think like that, usually have personal insecurities & it makes them feel better about themselves, if they can dent some else’s perceived happiness/confidence.

Laska5772 · 09/07/2018 16:36

Spiteful mare. You look fab and have been such an inspiration to me cherries. This 60 yr old has just been out on the beach in a bikini !! Thanks everyone. Think I’m really just deflecting my anxiety about DD’s surgery on Friday. As she says, I worry and fret so she doesn’t have to Grin!

I was thinking I may get it taken up to a midi. Fabric taken from top .. know someone who would do it for a small amount..

Laska5772 · 09/07/2018 17:10

Never where in Italy are you going? Love Italy! Hotel?Villa? Camping? Brave to drive with Dcs Grin

ilovecherries · 09/07/2018 17:14

It was huge, Laska. I bought the 12 and I would say it was more than one size too big. And I don’t like things too tight. It’s part of an ongoing and feels never ending series of surgeries she’s needed since she was a baby. You would think we’d be better at it by now, but I still feel sick. Her dad will be home on Wed as well, she still likes to face it as Team Cherries, even though she’s all grown up now.

neveradullmoment99 · 09/07/2018 17:28

Laska We have done it a few times. We did more of a European tour last few years - France then through Evian on to Switzerland, Austria, then over the Italian mountains down to Ancona - the area of les marche and then back up to Tuscany and on to Belgium heading home for the ferry. I have relatives that live there so we are staying with them. They have a pool and a nice villa and the kids love it. The kids are very good in the car. We are lucky. This time though its last minute and its more of a straight journey there and with the exception of lake garda, more or less driving back.

@ilovecherries sorry to hear about your bad start to the day. She sounds like a really nasty piece of work and as your husband says she's always been like it then it must have made her feel better to have had her spiteful little dig. What a horrible woman.Thanksfor you and hope you have managed to rise above it and not give it another thought. Your transformation is awesome and inspiring and you look amazing in all your pics xx

MinesaPinot · 09/07/2018 22:41

Wore my tangerine and turquoise Hush Panel dress in Hastings at the weekend. I love it and feel so nice in it. Got it in a 14 and probably would have got away with a 12. It's so cool and floaty and perfect for our weather at the moment. It inspired me to have another look at their sale (shouldn't really but hey ho) and I was lucky to get the Iris dress in the pink and orange print. Looking forward to receiving it now!

Laska5772 · 10/07/2018 08:32

Laska5772 · 10/07/2018 10:16

Moonkissedlegs · 10/07/2018 10:58

OK, I have decided that I will probably cave and get Hush Harems, they look so lush!

I was just wondering about sizing? A lot of the reviews on the John Lewis site say to size down but I'm not sure? I have the Hush boyfriend jeans in a 14 and they are baggy but then they are boyfriend jeans so are supposed to be, so I would say they are a good fit. I am a 12/14, mostly 14!

Also, am 5ft3 so how is the length of the harems?

miffy2 · 10/07/2018 11:34

Moon definitely size down. For reference I wear 12/14 in Hush jeans (boyfriend and Holly) and I have the harems in small, in three colours. Now I am nearer to a 12 I would even consider an extra small in the harems. They are extremely comfy and also they stretch as bit over time. The only thing I would say is the small can be tight at the bottom - I don't have particularly big calves though and I also don't know how much looser they would be in bigger sizes.
I am 5' 7" and I wear the regular length but I pull them up a bit as I like the baggy effect and the tight bit at the end. At 5' 3" they will likely be full length on you but I would say give them a try anyway as you can always pull them up as I do.

Moonkissedlegs · 10/07/2018 11:47

Thank you miffy. I have big calves as well, I will get the M and hopefully they will be OK. I love trousers which are cuffed at the bottom because it means the length matters less!

Eeeeeek, going to order, I have a 50 quid John Lewis voucher yay!

miffy2 · 10/07/2018 12:08

You will love them I'm sure. I am hoping they bring out more colours in the A/W so I have an excuse to buy more :)

Happy shopping!

Everyonelovessparkles · 10/07/2018 12:33

The white portobello dress arrived. I think it’s a keeper. It was the right decision to order an 8 (I am usually a 10 in Boden dresses) as this fits nicely. However it is quite expensive for what it is as the material is pretty thin and the top is unlined so is a bit see through, even with nude underwear. But I think it’s fine for holidays or a casual day dress. I am just under 5’6 and the dress is the same length on me as on the model (who they say is 5’7).

MinesaPinot · 10/07/2018 13:19

I just ordered this as well. I was well pleased as I wanted a black dress for hols as I like to wear beaded flipflops and nice jewellery in the evening, but I didn't want anything too structured.

ilovecherries · 10/07/2018 14:38

Pinot, a striped version of that arrived for me just as I was leaving the house today. Does it fit well?

ilovecherries · 10/07/2018 14:43

Never, yes, I got a refund this morning, and they are following up with RM. now just waiting for a refund for the dress that arrived with a hole in it, and no one owes me any money! PP account looking happy. My credit card has just been cancelled because of the ticketmaster hacking! Thankfully doesn’t seem to have been used - last year just before we went on holiday I checked my account and £8000 had been spent over three days in the Caribbean!!! While cc covered it all, it put a damper on going away.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/07/2018 15:25

£8000 fraud. Oh dear. Definitely put a damper on your holiday. Glad you got your refund. Will you reorder?

Well I ordered a pair of board shorts from ebay [boden new ones of course] and a tankini top from Boden. Hope it all fits. Hopefully will come before my holiday. If not well I will return the tankini top and just re-sell the board shorts. The both of them only cost about £30 so not bad for a tankini set.
Going to buy a few bits and bobs from Hush tomorrow. Thinking of buying the crochet vest and the white Portobello blouse but may change my mind. We will see.
