@DavetheCat2001 is that dress H & M? I have virtually the same one in khaki.
@carr1e1977 the Matalan top is fine with an ordinary bra, I wore mine out last night and my bra wasn't visible at all.

DavetheCat2001 · 07/07/2018 15:58

Yes it is! So simple but LOVE it. Probably got mor wear out ofit in the 2 years I've had it than any other.

Ellapaella · 07/07/2018 16:43

Yes I love mine - and it was only about £15 if I remember!

The weather we are having is unbelievable. It's 26 degrees here already in Tynemouth and it's not even 11am! I can't remember a time that I've lived here it's been so warm.
I've already taken the kids and dog to the beach this am and we are heading off to our local music festival this afternoon when DH is back from work.
It feels a bit magical this week - beautiful weather, Football glory, eldest DS finishing his exams and having the best summer ever, full of beach parties and long days spent with friends on the beach.
I've bought more summer clothes than I ever have and am actually able to wear stuff if only wear on holiday everyday for what seems like ages.
What's everyone up to today and who's wearing hush? I'm in my H & M dress as inspired by Dave, dug it out of the wardrobe and remembered how nice it is.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2018 11:55

Not doing much today. I have been wearing nothing but shorts for weeks( well not to work but days off)
Its been so hot! Its a bit cloudier here today but still very warm. Trying to organise cases for holiday. We leave a week tomorrow. Feeling a bit tired as was out down at my mums until late. We had a takeaway and enjoyed the sunshine in the garden with the kids and rest of my family.

Dave sign of a good night though..Grin

DavetheCat2001 · 08/07/2018 20:04

Bleeuurgh...

It was a great day all round though. Footie in the pub and then into town for the gig. Met up with some of OH's old friends in Hyde Park and had such a laugh.

The Cure were really ace...the sound was brilliant despite it being a massive open air concert. The weather was fab.

Unfortunately OH and I didn't eat anything again after our pub lunch so we were properly hammered. It took ages to get home too..lots of faffing about on the tubes and buses.

And this morning was painful. Thank god the inlaws were here as my DD was up at 5.15am Confused

When oh when do kids start sleeping in a bit later..it's killing us!

I felt super guilty all day as neither OH or I wanted to do much, so I dragged myself and my DS to a local park this afternoon as he wanted to kick his football about. A kick about was NOT really on my agenda but we had a laugh and at least he got a bit of a run about and an ice cream Smile

OH stayed home with DD (who was also knackered after her early rise) and watched crap films...not the best parenting day!

Just eaten curry (yes in this weather..true Brits!) and now collapsed on the sofa and will not move again until I roll myself off to bed.

Phew!

DavetheCat2001 · 08/07/2018 20:09

I walked over 23,000 steps too yesterday with all the traipsing about and dancing!

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2018 20:13

Well good for you taking you ds out for some football at the park.
You did more than me!!! I have just felt pretty tired today. Don't think I am sleeping that well because of the heat and my dd who keeps coming into our bed during the night when she wakes. She is 7 and take up most of the bed!!! VVV annoying! She does it less but when its boiling it makes for a rather rubbish sleep as she is all arms and legs! Like sleeping with an octopus!
So I did some washing, some packing, let down the paddling pool as it was cloudy and made dinner and that was that. So glad its the holidays but I feel I am so lazy atm.

Oh and squeezed another order in but not from hush but from ash. I bought their artic silver slides - scream they are called. They are flatform things. Bought them from the ash website as they were £32. Now need to hide them from my dh as I have done nothing but order shoes recently. I am now officially stopping.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2018 20:18

Bit disappointed with the wear on my hush flatforms. Ive only had them a few weeks and haven't walked in them that much and the sole at the heel seems to be wearing fast. Don't think I can take them on holiday as they will wear right down to the hessian bit and that will be them ruined. So they need to go to the cobblers. Going to just leave them at home. I think they would get ruined on my holiday anway so am going to take the slides from ash if all goes well.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2018 20:20

I really love them so don't want to return them. However if the cobbler says they cant mend them, they are going back.

Where are you going for your holidays never?

ilovecherries · 08/07/2018 20:33

I’m still waiting for a call back about my missing parcel. I do wish they had more responsive customer service.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2018 20:36

We are driving to Italy :) We have done it twice before.
I would be on their back tomorrow. Actually, did you pay by paypal?
If you did, do what I did. I took out a case with them about a year ago saying I hadn't received my item. They then phoned me!!! FULL of apologies! They said if it didn't turn up, it was their problem. Do that Cherries!

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2018 20:39

I then received my parcel and it was resolved but it sure got their attention as it must take the funds from them and holds it. Paypal in this case is your friend.
