This was the wedding of the niece of Princess Diana; Celia McQuorquodale, whose mother is a Spencer.
I am not going to mention the most high profile female guest.
However I do like the frocks at a society wedding. I thought the mother of the bride Lady Sarah looked lovely. I think it gives us an idea of how the late Princess would have dressed.
Lady a Kitty looked great, although I thought floral print on her dress was over scale. I loved her hat.
Also lovely to see the Spencer Tiara on another bride.

Sophie Wessex used to dress fairly boringly but has come far in recent years. It's almost like the injection of new fashion blood into the royal family in the form of Kate made her up her game.

Good that the York girls can book so much time off work isn’t it? Three days in a row at Ascot. Lovely.

Presume they get annual leave, like everyone else? Up to them how they choose to spend it.

I think Sophie upped her fashion game when Kate arrived on the scene.

The York girls are very pretty in real life and are quite slim, unfortunately they are not photogenic which is another thing altogether.

The York girls are passable but tbh wouldn't get a second look if they weren't princesses. They aren't in the same league as Meghan or Kate but that's fine, not everyone has to be beautiful.

They could do worse than take a leaf from Aunt Anne's book - she's never been a conventional beauty but has established herself as one of the most hardworking royals and one who has a lot of charitable interests.

Sophie's outfits used to be quite dowdy, as seen in her engagement photo. I'd forgotten how much the short hair made her look like Diana. Apparently Diana hated people pointing out the resemblance as she considered Sophie rather plain and inconsequential - miaow!

Sophie is just so stylish but not at all dowdy or old. She leaves Kate in the shade!

I think the York girls go for stuff that's a bit too fussy. They don't suit high necks (big boobs), they need a plain dress and a fun hat or the other way round.

Wow, Sophie looks so elegant. Beatrice's black and white dress is a shocker - it looks like she's left the poppers undone on a bodysuit with a particularly long crotch!

the York girls, Some of The clothes they wear are beautiful .I think it was Beatrice who wore that Valentino blush coat dress to prince William's wedding, on the runway it was gorgeous , very elegant and understated but my god the hat made it look horrible. Ditto the Burberry monochrome trench she wore to the queen's birthday . Again the hat ruined it, plus the trench did not look good in photos but in IRL it was beautiful.

Non British royal, but IMO Beatrice Borromeo is the best dressed young royal, she always looks effortlessly chic and groomed

Beatrice Borromeo's three (or was it four?) wedding dresses were utterly divine, one of the best dressed royal brides ever.

Sophie Wessex just looks amazing, every time. She knows exactly what suits her, variations on a midi A-line skirt; high necks, sleeves just above, at or below the elbow and the most spectacular hats.

The last gown, the white Armani, is my EVERYTHING!

If only I looked this good pregnant.

Ummm....no. The bride does not look like Diana. She looks lovely but nothing like Diana.

Meghan’s dress looks like they didn’t have it I. Her size so, she got the next size up. Not good. She has an amazing look and could wear anything but, not that!

The Queen looked lovely at Ascot today. I loved her hat with the pink rose posy at the front. I would like to have seen more detail of the dress she was wearing under her coat; I caught a glimpse of it and it looked as though it was had a purple and pink rose print although the press was saying that it was embroidered with flowers.

Yes, It would be nice to discuss all royal fashion, it is currently the season. I think Wimbledon starts next week, hopefully we will see Kate

@AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy As I said upthread, the bride has Diana's hair but other than that looks more like Clare Balding than her aunt!
