This was the wedding of the niece of Princess Diana; Celia McQuorquodale, whose mother is a Spencer.
I am not going to mention the most high profile female guest.
However I do like the frocks at a society wedding. I thought the mother of the bride Lady Sarah looked lovely. I think it gives us an idea of how the late Princess would have dressed.
Lady a Kitty looked great, although I thought floral print on her dress was over scale. I loved her hat.
Also lovely to see the Spencer Tiara on another bride.

Earl Spencer's kids are all good-looking, not sure about the rest of them though.

I loved the way Louis Spencer escorted his mother to Harry and Meghan's wedding.

Meghan seems mostly to wear white and beige, I think she could rock some of HM's zingy colours.

Could you imagine the “scene stealing duchess” comments you’d get then?!

@eloisesparkle By all accounts Charles Spencer treated his first wife rather badly, so maybe their kids feel protective of her.

Three kids and she's about the same size as I was pre kids. That woman has an iron will.

Plus a nanny, housekeeper, maids, gardeners, personal trainer, dietician...

Queen - I agree re Earl Spencer.
I thought it looked like the children are protective of her.

Meghan’s Dress is swamping her, the sleeves are miles too long. Surely they could have been shortened ? The dress as a whole is too long, makes her look like a little girl in her mother’s frock. She’s having to hold it together as she walks too, which must be annoying.
That Roksanda dress on Karen Spencer.. no room for eating wedding cake !

Eugenie looked fab at Ascot, the dress really suits her. I think that blue is wrong for Beatrice but the dress I sent lovely otherwise. That colour only works on blondes, or very dark skin.

Is lovely otherwise, not “I sent” . Auto correct drives me mad, I always forget to read through.

@eloisesparkle I think he might be a chip off the old block. Apparently the old Earl treated his first wife very badly. Charles' second marriage didn't last long either but Karen seems to be quite a strong character, judging from her interviews.

Samples are usually tiny sizes though, aren't they? I think she just favours an oversized aesthetic.

The Duchess has two nannies. And a chauffeur. You never see the Cambridges filling up the Epoque, do you?

Maybe Megan is borrowing her clothes and they are samples, which would explain why they don’t really fit her, ie sleeves too long etc. i thought royals pay for their clothes no? givenchy is doing no favours to MM everything looks ill fitting on her, for a brand that is only famous now days for the shark boots and antigona bag it certainly needs a high profile person that is not a kardashian to promote their RTW line.
So many talented British designers out there, she should reconsider her options and branch out.

I don’t think the Spencers are a good looking lot really, think Viscount Louis gets his looks from his mother!

The daughters are all beautiful by any standard!

The spencer girls are all gorgeous, that image of the three of them at prince Williams wedding is stunning.

I agree that MM’s clothes are ill fitting and as such wouldn’t be a good advert, but if she is buying them like this it’s even worse. Do they not offer an alteration service at that level. The Royals have been known to accept goods in the past, Fergie did and I think Burberry used to send clothes for the younger family members. Of course they may not do this now.

user145 all high end brand offer impeccable alteration service. For example all my Chanel jackets and coats are fitted to my body shape as I'm between sizes.

I remember reading that prince Charles pays for the princes and the duchess of Cambridge expenditure including clothing allowances from the duchy estate income. I figure MM is included too.

Sophie Wessex looks fab again today! The York girls just never seem to get it quite right. Eugenie is so pretty!

I love Sophie's style. She manages to look elegant without being too "safe" and boring. I can't work out what goes wrong with the York women. They have access to stylists, expensive top of the range items yet never quite seem to get it right. Sometimes Eugenie's outfits are flattering, but they often hit a wrong note for me.

Good that the York girls can book so much time off work isn’t it? Three days in a row at Ascot. Lovely.

The York sisters looked good at the Serpentine summer party yesterday or the day before.

Have to feel a bit for Beatrice - her younger sister is getting married and her ex just got engaged to someone he's only been dating about 6 months.
